Years ago, I travelled to Ocho Rios with my mom, grandfather and youngest daughter, 4 generations. We were there for 2 weeks and had a fabulous time. Albeit we were swarmed with so called salespeople trying to sell us everything including ganja and marriage proposals.😅 Dunn River Falls was an experience, sketchy footwork climbing the falls on slippery rocks., but we survived. Their Blue Mountain coffee is worth bringing home. Enjoy your vacation and stay hydrated 🍷🇨🇦😊
1977 as part of our honeymoon we were in the western carribean. we got off at one of these islands and there were so many tables and boothes set up and the locals doing what ever they could to make a little money from the passengers. one very large islander had an arm wresling booth. if he couldnt put your arm down in fifteen seconds youd win a hand crafted wooden sculpter. if he did youd owe him two dollars......i still have my wooden sculpture
Oh Michelle that was the quickest NO I ever heard and Brians face was one I’ve seen before 😂. The food looked soooooooo good. WOW the bird and I are the same age, sad to say the bird carries his age better than I do 😂. Glad you both had a great time.
I travel NCL, and the entertainment and food has been wonderful before COVID! Have not ventured out since, but still have not made it to the South Carribean! Baby steps again!

That ferry @ 2:18 in the video had 2 travel trailers on it and was marked Avon - Mann's Harbor, NC. Considering you're departing from fort Lauderdale, I presume those TT's are for accommodations while they're transporting the ferry to NC. That's pretty interesting.
Sanitary conditions, don’t use the tongs without a glove on you hands. Everyone on board has touched those tongs for serving, don’t want you to accidentally ruin your trip . 😮
Exactly. Even though the cruise lines provide a wash station to wash your hands and sanitizer at the entrance of the buffet and in various locations, we still use our own sanitizer before we use the tongs and before we start touching our utensils and food. We even sanitize the salt shaker. lol We just don’t show every single thing we do.
We left it at our camp site and took Uber to and from the port. You can either check with a campground or call the cruise port to ask about rv parking. I believe they have places for oversized vehicles.
You had a close-up of your wife on the rail of the ship. I thought she looked very lovely. A look that I had never seen before. You must have thought that you had all kinds of room in that cabin after living in the van.
How did you like Princess Cruise line? We are going on a cruise to the Panama Canal with Princess Cruise Line in February. We haven’t sailed with Princess before.
We like it. This was the 2nd cruise for us on Princess. The 1st one we were on the Regal Princess and that was a newer and much bigger ship than this one of Caribbean Princess. Still enjoyed it but we liked the Regal ship better. Have a great time on your cruise. We’ve heard the Panama Canal is a great one to do!
We see a people in wheel chairs on these ships. Actually, there are some that do this full time because it is cheaper than an assisted living facility. As long as you don’t need medical attention daily. The insurance you purchase with the cruise also covers in the case of a medical emergency where they need to have a helicopter fly in to transport someone to a hospital.
Of course you would need to figure out what these things are from wherever you would be staying at, but it was 26 min from the campground we stayed at to the port and Uber cost $40 at the time. The rates change constantly. Since our campground is in our membership, it was free and kept it with power so the batteries would not run down. Taking Uber is much cheaper than the ports daily rate would have added up to for 7 days. We don’t recall that daily rate but you can find it online.

You may be surprised and start loving it lol😉 It’s not for everyone. The fear is understandable but they honestly are much safer than a car or a plane. I used to think the same way as you years ago.

I will never go on a cruise. Being stuck on a ship has not appeal to me.
