Intel and AMD will definitely have their share of the market. TSMC is at max capacity and investing in other semiconductor companies will be an absolute power move, I keep increasing my shares manageably. Different chips are good at different things and Nvidia has been very specialised, which leaves other aspects of Al open.
certainly, i had bought NVDA shares at $300, $475 cheap b4 the 10 for 1 split and with huge interest I keep adding, i’m currently doings the same for PLTR and AMD constructively. Best possible way to get ahead, is participating behind top experienced performers.
You are buying a company to own it and not a piece of paper, The market is a zero-sum game (2 sides), Know what you are buying not just out of trend interest.
What a Magnum Opus!! My favorite video by far. I didn't think it could get any better, yet you continue to deliver, and mightily! I'm so happy I found you. Supreme value for money! You're on your way to 100K. The Semiconductor Manufacturing Process Flowchart is my favorite by far. Way to go, Kasey!!! When I started watching this channel, deposition, etching, EDA, Doping, Annealing, etc., were Greek to me, but not anymore. I thank you a 100 times over! Let's GO!!!!!!!!
A monster of an episode, and one I’ll be recapping several times this year. Thank you very much. Appreciate also the educational content to help explain the technology and acronyms in the chip industry. I feel like the intern again all those years ago.
The work you donis just awesome, thank you for sharing it I never tought I could learn so much on this obscure and complicated industry you guys make it look easy.
X-FAB SILICON FOUNDRIES is a clear buy. Mixed signal chips for analog to digital signal. Every car that rolls out some factory somewhere in the world has in average eight chips of X-FAB in it. SiC chips are also produced by X-FAB. I am not sure if you can buy the stock in the US because its listed in Paris but its a good one. P/E ratio of 6.
I am always baffled that this channel is not 100x more subscribed to. Without professional well researched content like this I would cancel my UA-cam subscription. 99% of UA-cam = paid shills. Great job
I'd probably wait until earnings on the 9th before buying the dip. They posted relatively weak preliminary fiscal results, however SiC and GaN chips have the potential to be used in datacentres which could increase the demand of compound semiconductors.
Thanks for the video, there's lots I didn't know. I'll add that Nvidia has a role in mask design - "NVIDIA cuLitho is a library that targets the emerging challenges of nanoscale computational lithography. With GPUs, it accelerates inverse lithography by 40X, helping create new solutions to make future semiconductor technologies cheaper and more predictable." BTW have you covered equipment for photonics? I think that spans fully photonic chips, which maybe aren't much of a thing yet, to the interface between processing cores and optical cables in a data center. I'm not sure if the second part of that is covered by analog, but then, does analog need different equipment from digital, and is it a material chunk of equipment makers' revenue?
Hi riffs, glad you liked the video. Yes all these major equipment makers, especially among the Fab5, make equipment for photonics and analog. AMAT in particular made a lot of sales to analog chip makers last year.
We're still at least a few years away from mass commercialization of quantum computing, but we're working on some picks. Disclaimer: they'll be very boring. Big tech with deep pockets could easily run away with this market.
@@planetblix, in 2024, it is cheap and also insulting to the existing audience and the potential larger future audience . This is my opinion and you are welcome to disagree. Thank you!
@@dfsafsadfsadf I’ll agree to disagree. Let’s just say it’s UA-cam marketing culture. You do have to admit, it does work, the poor content channels will use it excessively in desperation, where as here it’s subtle and I know the content is what I’m here for.

How much of their stock do you own? Seems like a lot of your investment is riding on this

Amazingly, people are starting to get the uniqueness of Palantir.
Thanks!

One of the best technical videos of the year so far. Excellent presentation!

@@chipstockinvestor Thanks!
where TSMC is positioned ?
They don't make equipment, they're a chip fab, so they're a customer of these companies
Please make same like video on storage memory company for data centers and RAM and npu processers
Thanks for video.
Is it any chance for Canon to regain its share in semiconductor lithography? It was the leader decades ago.
All the best!
Hey there, did you see this video we did last year on Canon? ua-cam.com/video/9_sWZVb1ft0/v-deo.html
@@chipstockinvestor I will watch it. Thanks!

Would love to see an Atomera speculative yet where does it fit on your chart video
Atomera is an IP development company, so would be in that section of the semi industry flow, but not an equipment provider
Any Quantum Computing plays? It seems like we might be getting close and this would turbo charge AI and Semis? or take away from their thunder?

@@chipstockinvestor I don’t think IBM is boring. They could have a MsFT move it it pans out
Crwd vs CRM vs S ?Please
Discuss the companies in every of semiconductor , whole process companies in semiconductor
❤❤❤
Where would you place $ENTG
Entegris primarily provides base materials and consumables, so they wouldn't be in this part of the semi industry
wouldn't investing in energy be the smartest move? takes energy to make chips!
Please please please cut it out with the click-bate thumbnails with the finger-pointing and sideways eye glances.
