Crazy I just watched one of your videos on coils, must have had your ears itching haha. Love seeing all the growth you have had on your channel, I have learned a ton from you. I still can’t believe they pay us to do these goofy videos, what a blast lol. Hope you keep rocking it up there in Arkansas and that your husband is staying all patched up. Mike
The fuel still went bad, but the fuel stabilizer minimizes the amounts of corrosion. You’ll still have to clean your carburetor at the start of every season unless you run it dry and drain the bowl at the end of the season.
Brother Steve!!!! You have no idea how much this means to me, I have been watching your videos for years. Welcome aboard. Strap in my channel gets a bit weird and loose :)
For all the Canadians here, you easily test if the fuel from your favorite pump has ethanol or not. There are several videos on UA-cam that show how to do this and there are DIY videos that show how to separate ethanol from gasoline.
Unfortunately in Canada all gas now has ethanol in, government mandate a few months ago. (Should be a busy season for small engine repair come spring).
I know Chickanic likes this stuff. Tatum did a test over 19 mos and the ethanolshield treated fuel ended up gelling. Maybe 19 mos is an unrealistic duration to treat any fuel. My question, does ethanolshield stabilize and protect against phase separation? I’ve been winterizing boats for years and since e-85 I’ve always used. Stabilizer and phase separating additive. Would much rather buy one product to do both.
Hey thanks young man, i have been trying different additives too. One i have used, then see a test on youtube and turns out to be the worst! Ha. I will give this ethanol shield a try for this off season in my riding mower. Thanks for taking the extra step and removing the carb.
Our resort maintains 6 boats, 3 mowers, 4 chain saws, power washer, generator, string trimmers... ranging from 1/2hp to 220hp, 2 stroke & 4 stroke, and none of which have any fuel treatment for the E10 gas. It's all stored Oct-April, and never had any problems. This seems to call for a double-blind test with a control group to see if it really makes any difference.
Up here in Canada I called our Canadian tire and asked specifically what grade of gas they sell that's ethanol free, it is 91 octane supper, I still put some of that Ethanol shield in the can . good stuff.
@@kingstonsean Ordered it(Ethanol shield) online, for fuel stabilizer, I buy any brand that's on sale at Canadian tire, around my house a can of fuel only lasts 3-4 months, I only buy what I use in 3 months.
@@kwils6685 It is the governments fault. Every year to win Iowa Republicans and Democrats promise to keep corn in the fuel. In Texas there are certain counties where you can buy real gas. Check out this website. ua-cam.com/video/S9JZtya3qsM/v-deo.html
It would've been nice if you had at least tested it by mowing the lawn first. Also, I don't know if I can accept any of your information if you're the kind of guy who uses an iphone l O L.
So glad I just saw this!! Thanks for the shoutout! Happy you had good results!

Oh and FYI my favorite video of yours is the submarine video, you had balls of steel to go underwater on that rig! Super interesting
@@MowerMike Binge watching you now! 🤩

Sounds like Canada needs some new management!
ethanol in fuel is a thing because of lobbying and corruption. Ethanol robs horse power, robs MPG's, and attracts water like salt.

I have no idea, try reading the bottle.

Glad you enjoyed it. The best is if you can just get hold of ethonal free fuel. But this stuff seems to work pretty dang good!

I sure hope you didn’t Jinx yourself! That is a lot of equipment.
You should test Sta-Bil 360.
Ayy shoutout to Chicanic! Her video are super useful.
Haha she is good, way better mechanic than I am.

Score! Got that fresh fuel up there
Were you able to get that brand of ethanol stabilizer at Canadian Tire? Project Farm reviewed a different brand and it wasn't very effective.

The secret is deoxygenating ethanol free gasoline, it will last decades. Secret military fuel storage recipe.
How do we get this super top secret military fuel recipe???!
Great stuff man. Question, what if it's tough to get non-ethanol fuel, can you just go with regular gas for your Weedwhacker?
Yep as long as you weed wack about atleast once a month. Just drain it and run it dry before you put it up for the year.
the real test is the smaller handheld equipment that have the small carbs with all the rubber gaskets. thats whats im seeing with all my equipment
Good put
Thanks!
Hey thanks man that means a lot! Glad the video helped
Great video and we appreciate you putting the information out there but it’s 1 ounce per 10 gallons.
I hear ya I always tend to go overboard with everything
1oz per 2.5 gallons of gas
Did you say “fully ethanol gas, 87 octane?” Maybe you meant E85..? Either way, impressive results. Thanks for the video.
I have no idea what I am saying in these lol glad you enjoyed it
Aren’t you supposed to run it through the carb of the lawnmower and then turn it off so it sits in the carb for 6 months ?
Yep sure are.
Nice video. Should this be put in ethanol free gas?
You can put it in anything, just don’t drink it.
@@MowerMike Well darn... I was gonna spike the Eggnog.
Merry Christmas 🤣
@@talon501 Haha thanks for the laugh. Merry Christmas!
Have you tried seafoam for a fuel stabilization do you Ned fuel stabilizer for nine ethanol, gas
Nope
Thanks god bless
Glad it helped!
You did not read directions at all . 4 oz. to 4 gal is not the recommended
Who needs directions, I am a man aren’t I? A little extra is always a good thing right????
Not jealous but wish I could get ethanol free gas.... and have a spare Cub Cadet to experiment with ....lol thanks Mower Mike
Ya man it is funky in Texas. Some counties you can get ethanol free some you can’t. Glad you enjoyed.
Why can't you get ethanol free gas? Where do you live?

Never trust a product that doesn't disclose its ingredients.
Yep you totally shouldn’t drink this stuff, but to each their own.
