The saddest thing about the rookie safety Williams whiffing on that tackle is how great he had played not just in that game but the last six games of the season he had arguably been the best player in that secondary he was the one that the Saints alive with that earlier interception.

Bill: I've literally seen it all Skip: I've never seen anything like it Also, I love this clip of Bill Burr. It's amazing. I come back and watch it every so often
Cousins may have been a let down, but Keenum was worse. He wasnt a good QB. He was carried by his excellent receivers and was exposed in denver. Kirk also sucks but he had a bad Oline where basically all of his recent predecessors would have completely crumbled, and he did medriocre
From a front office perspective, they saw they had a team that was 13-3 and a game removed from a Super Bowl and thought Cousins coupled with the defense would take them over the hump. It didn’t work this year but how about you invest in an O-LINE before talking shit about Cousins. He’d be a really good qb if he could have more than 1.3 seconds to throw the ball
that's why you aren't a GM. Keenum isn't an elite player.... PERIOD. He had a damn good season behind a violent offensive line with great skill players. There's no way he was worth any large investment (see Denver Broncos with Keenum). Cousins is an above average QB with a better arm and had much higher potential. It was a no-brainer man.

Sean Jones He put a thing up on Twitter (it was a screenshot of text to fit it all). He said he loves the fans still supporting him and that he wouldn't let this stain his career. Dude's timing was just off. He really didn't want a penalty. Granted a PI call would've been MUCH BETTER than letting him walk. It's all just such a shame. But his message was incredibly posiitve. I seriously do hope that he gets some amazing plays in the future. It's like the butt fumble by the Jets. You play 1000 snaps and out of all them, you're going to be remembered as the guy that ran into your own teammate's ass, fell down, and fumbled the football for an opposing TD in what is known as the most embarrassing play in football history.
Honestly, he was doomed either way. Diggs was WIDE open and he had three options: Risk a pass interference call by going after him, making the tackle or possibly break up the pass, or letting him catch it and trying to keep him inbounds which would end the game. If he did get a PI, the 15 yard penalty would put them in field goal range and the kicker Lutz would probably win it.
