    Seems some of the sales people were hung over or something or just didn't want to be there. Owners of these companies need to understand that it's very important to have positive outgoing sales people. Maybe rotate people and allow them to have breaks. Great video and thank you for sharing.

      I have attended many conventions but only as a potential customer and didn’t give much thought to the various presentations UNTIL I manned a booth at Oshkosh, the worlds largest aviation event with millions of people attending over a 7 day period. I handed out 5000 business cards… it was brutal! It’s one thing to be constantly on point but there are some absolute jerk’s out there. In a normal setting they would get a knuckle samich but there, you have to smile…
      I have utmost respect for those manning booths.

    Yeah, those flashing brake lights are annoying.
    Regarding the flare tool, and I think the major points were the speed, not having to hold lots of fiddly parts to hold onto, and that it didn't mark up or crush the sides of the tubing.

  • @brotheradam
    @brotheradam Рік тому +3

    brake lines, refrigeration lines, etc, use a double flare on the copper tubing- so you have to flare the one way-out- then fold it over on second flare so it fits the nuts and tightens for the pressure- she was saying they made the unit magnetic so the dies do not hit you when you are under the car flaring the lines in place, after running the lines through the chassis or whatever..lol..

      Just a few changes from the 15 year old one I have (magnetic end to hold dyes) and this one has alignment pins for the dyes to be perfectly aligned but you really don't need that...mine self centers as you tighten the hold down. Effortlessly makes all sorts of flairs and mine are perfect every time (except when I forget to put the end back on before flaring...lol).

    The line flare tool is great because the old tools are a bar that sits perpendicular to the line and uses a screw style flare tool and floating attachments that tend to cause the flare to be angled and not seal.

      I liked the looks of the toolbox ladder. However, it would be 10x as useful if it would easily pop out and back into the toolbox. Perhaps give one a 2' or 3' stepstool as well as a a 5' or 6' wall ladder.
      Many of the pickups are big enough that a small stool would be handy to get under the hood.

When I still lived in snow country I used a Honda 4x4 with a cycle country plow for my driveway and did sidewalks for a contractor. Yeah that tool that you didn't get is for repairing the end of a brake line. It doesn't mess up the line to prevent leaks, it's self centering on the line and it doesn't come apart easy because of magnets so when you're working over head it doesn't fall apart and land on your face. And you can flare the end of a line in one minute if you can do it S fast as her and that's why she was concentrating so hard.

    Brake lines - they can be at high pressure - 2000psi etc. If you do a single, 45 degree flair at the end of the line, you run the risk of cracking the line where it has been thinned out. The solution? a double flair, where fold the tube back on itself - so there is no thin spot. The problem, to make a double flair is a PITA - not to mention doing under a vehicle. Ridgid tools, the company that makes plumbing tools (yeah yeah, and Home Depot power tools.... sorta) makes some nice flairing toosl but even then, I carry extra dies because double flair can brake things if the dies aren't perfectly aligned - and no, I don't do it under the car unless I can get the lines clear. So the only drawback on this tool is the cost.... How many flairs do I have to do to recoup the cost????

    The brake line flaring tool was a knock off of mastercool. When the mastercool one came out it was defently life changing. Maybe. They made a few improvements to it. That last hitch lock is pretty amazing, that way you can sink a hitch post into a bed or trailer where it would be hard to access the pin underneath.

    Man so hitting the button on the wiper blade thing actually makes them freeze. De-thaw, the opposite of thawing.
    Like when people say they take something out of the freezer to de-thaw it. I am like, you just leave it in the freezer then if you want to de-thaw it. Then they get upset and say, no I want to de-thaw it. Then I say, just leave it in the freezer then.
    I finally get to, oh you want to de-frost it or thaw it out. Then they get mad and walk away.

Think about this you could be plowing I winter with your truck blow a transmission line, brake line , fuel line , or what ever special line that that kit can make and all you need a roll of tube to feed from point a to point b and be back running in couple of minutes.
