I drive from DC. I've been to her barbershop before. She cut my pops hair. I don't live in Gary no more. But I remeber that Value Mart when I was a kid. We used to hustle outside the store, Mr. Malik had the white van parked outside and sold everything you needed. Then we would go across the street to the Fish market for the best fish in town. And they had the best peach cobblers, too.
We grew up on 15th, but now that old house is abandoned.

Just know you only have to come up with 10 to 20 percent of the asking price. The rest will come from a bank. If 1 denies you try the next. Don't get discouraged. Im from G.I. and Don't recognize 😢anyone. Great job young Lady 🎉your did well explaining Gary. Im 50 now and have been gone for 10 yrs!
This was LOVE! In the early 90s, I played semi-pro baseball vs a team called the Gary Cardinals. They played their home games next to Roosevelt High School. Every time I played out there, the games were under lights. I was still in high school. Those were fun times. I've been out there some other times as well. Ohhhhhhh, is Glen "Big Dog" Robinson forgotten? What about LaTroy Hawkins? Lloyd McClendon?
There was also Winston Garland from Roosevelt and his son Darius Garland who currently plays for the NBA Cleveland Cavs. Darius has a tattoo on his leg that says "Welcome to Gary".
Then when the shut down the Chicago projects, they came to Gary and That Changed the Dynamics there, Then when News Orleans got flooded, some of Them came in and the mixture is Different 😂😂and its Sad. I went to Tolleston, Washington, Chase, Beverage, Vohr, Horace Mann, And Lew Wallace 🎉 Murder High! I watched the decline of the city. The mayors taking the money Frim the city and All!!!

I went to Gary to see Jackson’s house. It looked like something out of a movie. Abandoned houses everywhere. I was trying to figure out how it was once the murder capital. Not that many people there. The city is small as hell.
