Really beutiful flowers I love the mixture. I've also planting some marigold for this summer but they are at a seedling stage. We only just hit spring in the U. K. I planted them a few weeks ago and already looking okay but I may have done a bit early so I've kept them indoors. Thank you for this video was great help and love the garden take care and stay safe
I had the same problem with my marigolds they grew small because not enough sunlight..... My grandma told me to try instant coffee it works wonders.... Every year around June I sprinkle instant coffee all around my marigolds.... Water them and it works like magic
Beautiful! What type of marigolds are these. I planted some and they are flowering. The only thing is that the flower is small not as big as you have in your garden. I do have them in pots. Do you think it would do better planted on the ground?
Subbed. Wonderful video. 😀💯💞 I also cut them and place them in water (like in a vase or water bottle) and they REROOT in the water.....most are edible (moreover when they are young). Mine grow tall (to my hips). I am from Ohio, but live in Africa, so they grow here quite easily. Stay well!
@@sherryskitchentipsandtrick9393 thanks. I just planted these for the first time in hanging baskets and a 20gal barrel near my vegetables. I added just Alittle granular 4-4-4 fertilizer i had into the soil mix. So i guess im good for the whole season
@@TurkeyDart Yes i hope they come out well, post a pic for me to see when they do. I prefer the liquid mix myself but that granule is what the nursery always use.
@@sherryskitchentipsandtrick9393 okay i just sent a follow request on instagram i will show you how i planted them and what it looks like. So far they look okay
I don't know why but the rabbits in my yard eat my marigolds all of the time! Even the blackbirds nip off the blossoms sometimes! You have such great flowers. They are almost as beautiful as you are. (apologies, you must get compliments like that all of the time) I hope you have continued success with your wonderful marigolds
@@neivamitchell6481 I can't figure why they'd eat them, I have plenty of green lawn for them to munch on. They must be medicinal ,you know when a dog is sick it may eat a little grass? These rabbits may eat marigolds for the same reason? Just guessing
No I didn’t I was lazy they stayed there all year and I weeded them the next year when it was time to plant more but some of the seeds fell from the heads and naturally reseeded themselves so I didn’t have to plant any they all came up naturally
They are beautiful. I remember as a young girl my grandma planted some, we had the prettiest yard in neighborhood.

These were called Ferry Rose Marigolds, I do think planting them in the ground and giving them full sun ☀️ provides optimal conditions
You rock. I just planted some.
Thank you thank you I'm going to buy some more
This year finally I got it, I already put them in the my balcony, ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I hope they come in beautiful
Outstanding!
I grow them from seed and really add a pop of colour. Mostly use them to deter bugs but pollinators do not use them. Have you seen any bees on yours?
💜💜💜thank you, they are beautiful!💜💜💜

Thanks for the tip I didn’t know that
lovely video !! I love Marigolds !!
Thank you. Me too!
Hi. Love the video. Do you pull up the dead plants after each season?
Sometimes I do after popping off the heads I want, last season o didn’t and the ended up reseeding themselves from the heads
Do we need to feed these flowers over the season? They look beautiful
No I had no issues at all

Of Red colour marrigold as shown u
By ur Vdo. Pl adv.

How long did you grow these to get that bushel and tall
Honestly this was about a month or 2 growth only, coming from seeds, I did water them and give them plant food I’m the beginning
How long they take from the seed to the one that is no on the shade? 3 months?
About 2 or less based on sunlight and rainfall ( I don’t water very often)
what is the colloquial name for marigold...tinking pretti"
lol, I didnt know that, iv always known them as marigolds
sherry is so pretty, i got distracted by her smile and her voice
