Hi Maria! We've been watching your channel since we started thinking about living tiny, about two years ago. We bought an old school bus last year to make into our tiny home, and we moved in four months ago, although we are still working on it. We love our tiny home, and I am coming to understand that decluttering and downsizing will be an ongoing part of our lives - I just re-organized my clothing and pulled out several items to donate just this afternoon. Such a freeing feeling! Thanks for your great channel, I love the tiny living stories of course, but I am also very interested in your budget and downsizing tips as well.
Thank you so much, that means a lot to me:) How great that you're living your dream and going tiny. Decluttering is an ongoing thing yes and I'm finding I just have to embrace it and try to have fun doing it.. witch I do most of the time.. the trick is(i think) to do a bit regularly so it never becomes overwhelming. I have 2 upper cabinets in our kitchen which are overflowing and I didn't notise it till today, but I guess stuf just got stuffed in ther over the past few months.. I have to tackle that soon ha ha:) Have a great week. Maria
Hey guys! Nice videos! We are Luca & Sara an Italian couple living and traveling in an old truck camper. We will be leaving Canada soon and traveling south, 3 months through the US. We would love to meet you guys on the way. We wish you all the best! Safe travels ;)
We don’t have a lot of customs actually other than en easter meal where lamb is served either lunch or dinner. I grew up with my grandma always giving us a delicious Kinder easter egg.. you know the kind with a toy in the middle🌸 and usually there are church services on thursday, friday, sunday and sometimes monday😀😀 have a great easter😊
What I found when I was looking over my last 5 years finances is that the first quarter of the year is generally the most expensive. Generally, we're in the red until the third quarter of the year. For us at least, being in a colder climate means that we spend the most on heating in the first quarter when it's coldest, and that combined with the yearly renewal type costs like car insurance makes it much more expensive.
You’re right the beginning of the year is expensive, I in genneral try to account for those expenses by saving up through out the year, but maybe I should put more in my transportation for those cold months next year so my money don’t💸 again😆
The flu this year has been bad on both sides of the Atlantic it seems. The great thing about budgeting is that you have a safety net when things happen like getting sick. I have been using the Every Dollar program since I saw your video and I am really liking it. It is very helpful to see how much money I have spent in any category.
Uh I'm so glad to hear that is working out for you yeay. I'm getting in a good routine with my categories as well, I just have to stay on top of it so I don't have too many transactions at the time then it becomes really overwhelming for me. Have a great week:)
Yes. That is the same issue I have. Since I didn't link it to my accounts, I have to remember to manually enter the numbers. I try to do that as soon as I get home from any outing where I spend money.
I honestly havn’t had the flue since I was a kid and it felt like I had to catch up for years of not getting it ha ha😆 But I’m all better now thank you, and thanks for carring💙
I was looking at Tiny Home videos and one you had done came up. At the end of it, when you were videoing yourself and your comments on it, I thought how familiar you looked. As I checked out your channel and other videos, I was pretty confident it was you. How crazy to "run" into each other after all these years on UA-cam!!
The flu is more than dreadful. Would suggest a flu injection each year in October. Also Broncho Vaxom tablets in addition are excellent. Not cheap - am sure you can buy them in Denmark. 30 tablets for 3 months. 10 per month. I feel natural things are not really effective regarding flu. Do not worry about going over budget. Scandinavia as in Switzerland is expensive. Look at it this way Maria - we are more than lucky to live in these safe and secure countries. Look after yourself. Just enjoy life.
That is exactly what I always focus on.. it’s super safe here, no coruption, clean air.. and in return I get.. bad weather ha ha😆😆😂 I’ll do better the next few months🤞🏻

Do saunas help when you start getting sick? Also, I've found elderberry and nutrition facts.org to be very helpful keeping me super healthy.
So happy to see you again - I wondered if you were sick but didn't want to pry :)

So, is this the same Maria that did a DTS in Denver '03-'04?
Yeay Hi Becky, how fun:) How did you find me?:) How are you

Babies grow so fast. Under budget overall---super.
I‘ve missed you 💌
💙
You need a neighbor friend that will cook for you when you're down. I cook. I'll move next door. Kidding. I'm n the US.
Yeay that would be wonderful, please do😀😝😆
Can you explain the baby sleeping outside?
It’s just a custum here in Sandinavia and they sleep better in the fresh air😊
Speaking as descendant of Danish (and others too) who came to America, I think outdoor sleeping in the cold is a GREAT idea.
Your English is superb. Are you originally from the US? Subbed.
Nope, I’m just danish - thanks😀
Happy Early Resurrection day! 🙏🏾
