Beautiful! Precious family time! You are very blessed that they share the same passion for exploring the outdoors - something I'm sure you and Flash cultivated in them! The music was wonderful, too! Oh those mosquitoes, though!
I absolutely loved this episode. You’re fortunate to have hiking of that magnificence in your backyard, and I’m sure having the family on the trek was incredible.
Hiked a hundred-miles or so (I-5-Burney-Old-Station area) before a previous year's PCT wound acted-up, putting the whole big-toe at risk. Not out of the amputation-woods yet either. They say, "Never give-up, never quit, (don't let the old man in?)," but have lost enough body-parts to hiking over the course of these four-years (two-hernias and a different amputated toe). Whitney was the primary goal after all and that was accomplished two-years ago. It was awesome and great to meet you. Podiatrist thinks bike-packing might be ok next year? Easier on the feet. We''ll see.
Hi Hoss, the inevitable awaits us all, so we do what we can with what we got. You climbed Whitney! I have the receipts. You're still very inspiring to me.
Sweet! what a lovely "pack" .........thank you, spirited video............
Yes, Burn would agree. She likes her pack quite a bit, especially when they remember to bring plenty of treats.
Thanks
Thank you.

What a blessing family is! Beautiful scenery, good video
Yes, and getting to spend time with them in the outdoors when you're a dad in his 60s is pretty cool, too. Thanks Brad.
This was gorgeous hike man, masterfully put together! Shots are really diverse and nicely executed!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you. It was a rainy, cloudy day, but there's always a certain magic in this place.

Nice Horned Larks!! Love those alpine ridges.
Yes, what a beautiful bird, and those alpine ridges and great for the soul. I have a hard time coming down after I climbed up.

Thank you Maureen. The bugs weren't too bad on the trip. Unfortunately, we just learn to deal with them.
Gorgeous
Thank you.

Yes, thank you Glen. It was one of those moments of grace for sure. I was definitely a happy man.

No Ray NO.
You have enough antlers. Leave it for the wandering neophyte.
@@akwild1 Your videos are fantastic, but I need ALL the antlers. Just jealous.
@@jimmcgregor4598One day I’ll lead you to the antler promiseland.
