Henry dying on the way home and Charles losing his love of music after the musicians are killed are two moments that get me every time. Also, any tine we get to see Charles’s more dramatic side.
The one where he chews out the officer who is berating the wounded soldier who stutters. Then we learn why it hit so close to home for Charles when we hear the recording of his sister who stutters.
I like to think that Charles eventually returns to music. Perhaps not the Mozart Clarinet Quintet, but to imagine that character never listening to any classical music again seems too harsh, a fate worse than death.
The two that stand out for me is when Hawkeye and Father were talking about war.The description that Hawkeye says is war in a nutshell. And the one that brings tears for me is in the finale when Charles realizes all the Korean musicians have been killed. He goes into the Swamp and puts the Mozart piece on he was teaching them and then rips the record off and smashes it.Very emotional
The episode, "Sometimes You Hear the Bullet", was the one that created the new genre "dramedy", a combination drama-comedy. There were scenes where we laughed the some that made us cry and other that made us think. That's what you call great TV.
@@austinmasoni1896 Yes disgusting . I always wondered why Charles didn't get his parents to just adopt the baby. Clearly they could have afforded to do it. A great episode nevertheless.
"The Interview" from 1976 is a great drama episode; so is "Deluge". Another gem is "Dreams" from 1980.
Dreams could have been a series finale it was so powerful.

Agree! Also the one where Charles helps the piano player who injured his hand.
@@3Brew Charles helping the Solider who is bullied because of his stuttering problem and he stood up to the ones bullying.

Same and also in yankee doodle doctor the end part
For me, music was always a refuge from this miserable experience, and now it will always be a reminder.
Only a few of the Originals are still alive. Excellent show that I watch every day lol

Thank-you for this. M*A*S*H is so wonderful. The writers captured what is true then and now. So many parallels for today. Sadly. God Bless you all.
Well done!! Excellent upload AND editing!!! I always loved M*A*S*H ! Thank you for this...
Thanks for the positive feedback, appreciated.
Sometimes you hear the bullet and when Henry dies!
One of the finest television shows ever produced. Bravo to all cast and crew.👏😀
For me, the most serious episode is Yessir, That's Our Baby from season 8.
That one disgusted me on how prejudice can make people do that kind of awful shit 😤😤😤

The Life You Save.....😢
Menos ingleses....tienen tendencia al espiritismo....😇
I prefer the more comedic side of MASH.
