    Greetings from America.
    Thank you for another great video.
    Over here in America, automobile body shops normally won't give out information on techniques on how to fix dents and/or do body repair. They say bring the automobile by and we'll give you an estimate. I guess its because they dont want us to know they are ripping us off , by the high prices they charge. By watching your videos , it doesn't really look that hard to do , as long as you have patience and the right tools .
    I've bought several new PDR tools and I feel confident I can fix the few dings and small dent on one of my Mercedes, that happened while in the previous owners ownership . I just haven't had the time to start on it yet .
    Thank you again for these great videos. I am a subscriber and I've learned a lot from you thus far.

    Wouldn't you find the pattern lite with the sharp, high contrast lines more effective? Not to say there was anything wrong with this job. Just asking, thanks. Good video.

    • @1st_track_dents
      @1st_track_dents  4 роки тому

      Hi Alex T, good question. Yes, the line board can be effective especially for finishing off the fine detail work at the end of the repair. I just find the fog board which I use is much easier on the eyes, imagine staring at lots of lines all day in detail, after a while I think I would get a headache. They are also quite good for training to see more detail of what is going on but for me it is just a personal preference.

      Hi Rob, I'm just using standard black glue from here: www.pdrprotools.co.uk/high-strength-melt-glue-sticks-long-p-286.html Regarding tabs, I have been using these lately: www.tdntools.com/glue-pulling/black-ice-variety-pack-16-piece You can't let the glue dry too much with these tabs otherwise they just fall off, if you pull them when the glue is still tacky, you can get some great pulls.
