Same. Used to rush home from school to play these games - Fatal Racing, NASCAR Racing, The Need For Speed, Doom, soooo many good games I had for my PC back in the mid 1990s, was a great time for games and computing :) After playing I would put on Encarta '95 haha
I remember running split screen multiplayer and loving every second of it, not even noticing that I had less than half the framerate of this video. Back when everything was new and amazing, no matter what quality it was.
I played this when I was a kid. Only had a trial version of this with two cars and two tracks available. Still enjoyed it. Still know the sweetspot in ramps to land on all four wheels.
I remember playing this back then with my cousin when I was a kid. That Bob guy would always stay in last place and usually go on the wrong way in my playthroughs.
Feeling very nostalgic watching this. Was one of my favorite games that I played on my Packard Bell 133 MHz Windows 95 Pentium PC from 1996. I spent many hours playing this before I started playing the first in the NFS series.
Wow, I can't believe I finally found it. I had this back in the day, probably my first 3D game. Despite searching for years, I had forgotten the title until it came to me in a dream just the other day. Box art was great. I don't think I was getting this res or framerate, or music either. Still fond memories though.
Yes this was the best racing game of it's time... I loved how you could use the F keys to communicate with your team mate... asking them to block behind or take other cars out or race like they mean it... I loved doing 16 car seasons... Changing all the drivers names to my friends names... I always we with Pulse as I'm a Brit... My fave track was the Global track (The one with multiple lanes left and right before the Start/Finish line, it also had moving ramps/bumps in track after the Start/Finish line. You think if I get this now I could play it in 1080p @60fps, or would the res and fps be locked.... I swear I had more fps than in this video back in the day... Then again I couldn't play it in 640x480, I had to run it in 320x200... LOL 320x200
Only whimps played the easy-handled cars! Zizin for life. It was so damn fun to powerslide through those long twists and turns. Desilva was my first car though, because it has the fastest acceleration. It's really cool how the game had you communicating and ordering your AI companion. Naturally.. they rarely (if ever) did exactly what you told them do, but I think you could 'deny' them things like going to the pit stop if you needed them to keep racing. Regardless, it was cool to have the voice over the radio where the computer practically spoke to you with things like that. Gave a sense of personality to the cars/AI.
El mejor pinche juego de carreras que he jugado... ni destruction debry, burnout u otros igualan el feeling de este juego y ponerle en la torre a los demás... YEEEEAH! FATAL!!!!!
I used to play this game a lot as a 10 year old, I'm now sitting here reminicing the split screen mode, cheat car that was incredibly quick. If this game was re-released, I would certainly buy it (once my kids are asleep!)
Childhood. We used to play this game with my brother on one PC by splitting screen. Named other cars by relatives/friends name, this was very funny. I remember in one map we was using cheat by jumping to end of race track.
I loved this game and I loved this video, I'd would like to play with this definition on my modern PC. One way that I liked to play the game was to set on the most damage option, play long races, and try to destroy all the other cars, specially when they were on flames recovering at the pits hahaha. Despite not finishing the race in the 1st place, I used to have a lot of points because of that, and there were many other cars who lost all their lives.
What a game, used to play with the global or the reise wagon! Also you could get different colour liveries for the cars if you won a championship or something like that
Thanks you two and @halfpiintz they are mostly from my own collection. Still got most of these games from back then when I bought them. Only very few games (Like Blade Runner for example) were bought recently ;)
played a lot on my P100 with 8 MB of Ram (later 32MB RAM for the 3DFX Voodoo Games, also a 3DFX version of this old jewel) in VGA and it was very fast !!
i remember playing this for hours, this and winbrick 96. i still have Whiplash here on my desk but it wont work with the newer computer i have or will it?
Sweet Jesus, of all the games getting remasters, rereleases and sequels, WHY NOT THIS ONE?! I mean, at least make it so that it's easy to play online, and voila!
Just dug this game out now. I remember I had a AMD K5-120 at the time and this would run like a bad of crap. Just loaded it on a DX4 100Mhz laptop and have to run in VGA (not SVGA) with 75% screen to make it actually playable. Those were the days
Back then this was the Crysis of games. It should have been - can your PC run Fatal Racing? :D I think it was badly optimized back then, SVGA didn't run on any PC at release. Very nice game.
Yeah I also noticed that while playing a while. They don't have very much variation there and the screams on the stunts and loopings, while funny, can get annoying after a while because they are always the same ^^ But apart from that its a pretty fun game. ;)
Most of the time I used Global but sometimes I also play Auto Ariel because it is a car that's easy to handle. I also like the Pulse because I like how it looks but I can't really get accustomed to the handling, it's just so sensitive for that car. ^^
I probably have used SVGA mode (so 640x480 instead of 320x200) in the setup options or something but can't really remember how to set it up as this was so long ago now. ^^
Hmm, maybe your version doesn't have that? (although I'm pretty sure every version should have it) It's not like it is some kind of special feature or something I just select a car and let her talk. It starts automatically.
The way i remembered it... Whiplash has 3 sets of tracks and alternate/faster cars(same cars with different color scheme). Fatal racing only has 1 set of tracks and no alt cars. Or maybe the fatal racing i had was a demo ver. I live in indonesia and i remember as a kid my dad would buy me a CD full of ms-dos racing games(which later i found out it was pirated games😂)
Hehe, I recorded this on an older PC and haven't tried it since then. There were always emulation slowdowns when playing and recording under Dosbox especially when I used the SVGA mode. Maybe if I tried it now it could run a bit better. :)
OMG LOVED THIS GAME WHEN I WAS A KID!
Same. Used to rush home from school to play these games - Fatal Racing, NASCAR Racing, The Need For Speed, Doom, soooo many good games I had for my PC back in the mid 1990s, was a great time for games and computing :) After playing I would put on Encarta '95 haha
heck yeah this game was LIT when we was little!
damn, im old
Carlos Eduardo Hara Yup we are..
Not as me, I'm 33 now.
@@soundlessbird9181 now I 28
Getting crazy nostalgia! Game was so far ahead of it's time.
I was obsessed with this game in the 90s and found the disk. I had to look it up
90s gaming is the golden age of games, I still love ut99 the most.
This and Megarace were my childhood.
Refreshed this game lately, its still as good as it was back then when i 1st tried it, i think they should remake it.
They really should
I came from looking at Trackmania on YT to this as i remember playing this as a kid.
I remember running split screen multiplayer and loving every second of it, not even noticing that I had less than half the framerate of this video. Back when everything was new and amazing, no matter what quality it was.
"Back when everything was new and amazing, no matter what quality it was".
I totally agree with you.
One of the few games i wish they would remake loved this game!
@Adorenu アドレーヌ No... just no... This is nothing at all like burnout.
Goatling haha, bob was an idiot!
Was about to say the same thing. On tracks possible to go in reverse Bob would be that guy. He did it about 90% of the time lol
Frickin Bob 🤦🏻♂️🤣
Feeling very nostalgic watching this. Was one of my favorite games that I played on my Packard Bell 133 MHz Windows 95 Pentium PC from 1996. I spent many hours playing this before I started playing the first in the NFS series.
This game and Descent were my childhood!
Wow, I can't believe I finally found it. I had this back in the day, probably my first 3D game.

Box art was great. I don't think I was getting this res or framerate, or music either. Still fond memories though.
so many hours on this one, was one of my favorites as a kid
This game need so much a reboot
"BUCKLE YOUR NUTS DOWN!"
Ohhh, RIGHT in the childhood.
It's "Buckle your lunch down"
Along with Top Gear, my favourite racing game of my childhood.😊
I just remember not having anywhere close to a good enough PC to play this back then.
Had to play it in DOS on my machine. Was the only way to play it on my pentium 1 packard bell.
Now I find it. Hard to remember the name. FATAL RACING!!! Oh yeah...
Best racing game ever! I wish more people knew about it, it's still fun to race nearly 25 years later.
Yes this was the best racing game of it's time... I loved how you could use the F keys to communicate with your team mate... asking them to block behind or take other cars out or race like they mean it... I loved doing 16 car seasons... LMAO I just made a 320x200 picture in paint to see how big it is on a 1440p screen... It's tiny
Spent hours playing this game on a joystick, the pain I had in my wrist! So good though - always used Global
I loved causing a pileup in front of the rams and stuff then watching all the cars (including my own) fall, crash and blow up. Good times.
Only whimps played the easy-handled cars! Zizin for life. It was so damn fun to powerslide through those long twists and turns. Desilva was my first car though, because it has the fastest acceleration.

Played this game so much, twas great for the time, always used the Mission (the green-purple one ?)
El mejor pinche juego de carreras que he jugado... ni destruction debry, burnout u otros igualan el feeling de este juego y ponerle en la torre a los demás... YEEEEAH! FATAL!!!!!

Just found this vid. Wow, what a blast from the past. I had the Voodoo 3D version, so the graphics I remember were much better that this. Fun stuff.
This game consumed many hours of childhood. So fun
Childhood. We used to play this game with my brother on one PC by splitting screen. Named other cars by relatives/friends name, this was very funny. I remember in one map we was using cheat by jumping to end of race track.
Welcome back :)
When i was a boy i loved this game ! hours and hours playing: is like Ridge Racer but with Steroids ! much more adrenaline !
I loved this game and I loved this video, I'd would like to play with this definition on my modern PC. One way that I liked to play the game was to set on the most damage option, play long races, and try to destroy all the other cars, specially when they were on flames recovering at the pits hahaha. This was the asphalt airborne in 1995.
My favorite car racing game.
Had split screen multiplayer too.
Trackmania: the prequel
What a game, used to play with the global or the reise wagon! Also you could get different colour liveries for the cars if you won a championship or something like that
I loved this game! I really miss playing it...
I used to be so good in this game that i remember winning the championship with every single car!
I used to love this game!
wow Felt like full hd back in the time...
Thanks you two and @halfpiintz they are mostly from my own collection. Still got most of these games from back then when I bought them. Only very few games (Like Blade Runner for example) were bought recently ;)
I'll never forget being bad at this game as a kid. "YOU'RE GOIN' THE WRONG WAY!"
i think i still have the CD of this game!!
2:51 Haha, I love that laugh XD
Finished the championship of the Screamer 1-Rally games, Fatal Racing looks similar and like it´s fun, will play it!
This game is one of the funniest games I've ever played!!!
In my entirety of playing that game, I NEVER figured out how to do those goddarn corkscrews!
This game is a treasure!!! I love it!
This is one of my favor car game in high school XD
omg memories... used to play it on Pentium 1 with a turbo button!
This was my sega rally!
played a lot on my P100 with 8 MB of Ram (later 32MB RAM for the 3DFX Voodoo Games, also a 3DFX version of this old jewel) in VGA and it was very fast !!
i remember playing this for hours, this and winbrick 96. i still have Whiplash here on my desk but it wont work with the newer computer i have or will it?
+001GenLee It probably will through Dosbox ;)
Maybe it even works with nGlide if the game has 3dFX but I haven't tested that.
Don't know how I kept playing it back then. The framerate fucking sucks.
Sweet Jesus, of all the games getting remasters, rereleases and sequels, WHY NOT THIS ONE?! I mean, at least make it so that it's easy to play online, and voila!
Breathtaking race!
Legendary 90s game
I remember this. it was very hard to actually killing enemies
Just dug this game out now. I remember I had a AMD K5-120 at the time and this would run like a bad of crap. Just loaded it on a DX4 100Mhz laptop and have to run in VGA (not SVGA) with 75% screen to make it actually playable. Those were the days

I think it was badly optimized back then, SVGA didn't run on any PC at release. Very nice game.
oh you gotta play with Pulse or Zizin if you ask me!
😁
Mission. Every time.
split screen, I played it with my friend for hours ...
Шикарнейшие гонки!!! Больше всего любил гонять на Глобале. А самая дебильная машина - Зизин :DDD
Yeah I also noticed that while playing a while. They don't have very much variation there and the screams on the stunts and loopings, while funny, can get annoying after a while because they are always the same ^^
But apart from that its a pretty fun game. ;)
Nostalgic Games i swear whenever you did a loop the loop, that fuckin announcer sounded like Quagmire from Family Guy 🤣
I always wanted to play this as a kid but pissed that it wouldn't run properly on my mums olivetti lol
I like how your profile picture is the Silencer. They need to remake Crusader.
Holy shit. That announcer guy is the guy from Operation Flashpoint!
hi, how open alternative collors cars?
remenber this game in bundle with my 3dfx fun
lol I completely forgot abouthis game :) they should do remake
2:49 Do a barrel roll!
Anyone else here ever drove backwards around the track and tried to destroy as many cars as possible ? Heh
There was always a white car going in the wrong direction with fire.
En este link encontraran como dejarlo con entorno grafico bueno, en español como montarle un iso y tambien como lo podemos jugar en linea es un proyecto nuevo ojala les guste a todos incluyendo al creador del video XD

Hey dude great channel and nice upload xD.
I'm wondering do you purchase these games through gog or they from you own collection?
Thanks in advance
where to get this game?
Que juego de culto!
Going through the pits and smashing anyone that was in there 👍 GOOD TIMES
This game looks more fun than Forza horizon 5
I loved playing this game as a kid so much ! Can you download this game anywhere or buy it ??!??
Just ask your trusted search engine, couldn't hurt trying ;)
played with no sound fx because my pc had no sound card in far 199x
great game! One of the most funniest games ever. Was Auto Ariel your favorite car?
Most of the time I used Global but sometimes I also play Auto Ariel because it is a car that's easy to handle. I also like the Pulse because I like how it looks but I can't really get accustomed to the handling, it's just so sensitive for that car. ^^
How did you got that graphics?? I use dos box but look different, in a low resolution.
I probably have used SVGA mode (so 640x480 instead of 320x200) in the setup options or something but can't really remember how to set it up as this was so long ago now. ^^
Souvenirs souvenirs
Did Namco agree with this game?
YEEEEEEE HA HA HA!
Colin Donovan man, I always drew whiplash cars in arts class...ALWAYS jumping and smoking Yeeeeehahahaaaw
How do I get the woman to speak when I select cars?
Hmm, maybe your version doesn't have that? (although I'm pretty sure every version should have it)
It's not like it is some kind of special feature or something I just select a car and let her talk. It starts automatically.
My pc would always crash playing this on the old IBM. I think I was finally able to play it around year 2000 but I was no longer interested.
does this game have a locked framerate?
I don't know if it has but the video was recorded with 30 fps so this would be the limit here ^^
...Almost like real...
Please name a similar game i could play on windows 10
Windows 95 . Oh man
I owned this game... It didn't work on the PC's I owned as a young kid.
does anyone play online multiplayer of this game? plz plz plz
Fatal Racing? I thought this is called Whiplash.
"Whiplash" is the title that they used in the US.
Michael Lindee
Oh I gotcha Thanks for straightening me out. I didn't know.
RyasFang I knew it only with this title
The way i remembered it... Whiplash has 3 sets of tracks and alternate/faster cars(same cars with different color scheme). Fatal racing only has 1 set of tracks and no alt cars. Or maybe the fatal racing i had was a demo ver. I live in indonesia and i remember as a kid my dad would buy me a CD full of ms-dos racing games(which later i found out it was pirated games😂)
You have to ram the opponents...
You can ram them but you certainly don't have to, especially if you don't want to end up being in pit stop most of the time.
Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels has nothing on this classic. 😎😎
Complete with shitty framerate, just like my Pentium 100 back in the day :)
Hehe, I recorded this on an older PC and haven't tried it since then. There were always emulation slowdowns when playing and recording under Dosbox especially when I used the SVGA mode.
Maybe if I tried it now it could run a bit better. :)
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!
You're going too darn slow
I couldn't stand the soundtrack.
the voices are so freaking repetitive.
