Hi,Whitney!I'm,glad I came across this "easy peasy" fabric storage bin.(This,is "exactly" the easy peasy fabric storage bin video that I,was "looking for".)"Thanks,a million & May G❤D "BLESS" YOU "ALWAYS"(24/7 DAILY)."AMENNNNNNN"! 👍 👍
You forgot to mention the seam allowance size & handle measurements. Thanks, for sharing this easy peasy fabric bin video.I,made one for a niece for her Birthday.I,made my without handles..it,came out "perfect".(Thanks, again!) 👍
Whitney, it's like you know I need organizing!! I'm going to make some of these (HOPEFULLY SOON) to help organize my fabric scraps and such. I'm really horrible when it comes to organizing, but if i had something as cute as this, I might enjoy it! YOU ROCK!!
I absolutely love this! And your handle tutorial is stellar, as always. Thank you so much Whitney, this will help me keep my yarn projects organized. You are wonderful, and I always enjoy your tutorials.
Whenever I hear your voice suddenly I subscribed because your voice is unique and extraordinary... 🥰🙏👍 Love you dear sister very good voice you have. Very confident your own voice and definitely you are intelligent I did not see your channel but I subscribe here after only iWatch you and follow you thank you for uploading this video ❤️❤️❤️
Last night I decided my fabric sewing machine cover needed a handle and remembered the handle in this video. It was fast and easy and looks great. Thanks for sharing!
I love this cute project ❤️ I think I'll make a few this spring for my sewing pattern collection. Oh and I'm loving how you made the handle. Thanks for sharing, Whitney 😊
I love to make these for all kinds of things. Never used the foam but I bought some for another project and going to use some of the extras to make a few of these. Love how you made the handle. Skylar’s kitchen looks so cute and fun to play with. This will help her keep things in their places! Great job and great tutorial. 🤗💜🤗
I love that! I had a friend ask me, a year or so ago, if I knew how to make fabric bins. I tried but failed :( I can do this!! And now "sew" can she with her grandmothers machine. Thanks for the video! P.S. I have made a ton of tote bags like this, thanks to another of your videos.
I love your videos they are so helpful I have been trying to find a diy video or pattern to make a puppy tote (whelping box) Laundry basket cover liner and cant find one anywhere ! Would love it if you did a video for one of those ! Congrats on the new house
😎Excellent! i think i might sew a handle onto foam sided fabric while it is still flat. Or, i could add 2 handles for carrying in top seam when joining inner and outer fabrics.
Whitney, that basket is so cute! I love the fabric. Your sewing skills are inspiring! I hope someday I can get my sewing machine working again. 🌈🙏🏼thanks for sharing.
I love fast & easy projects! You only mention seam allowance for the handle (which I plan on making two, one on each side :) What is the seam allowance for the main body of the basket?
I have never used this foam before and wondered if it would be possible to fold down the top so that there is a folded down rim of the lining around the top edge? Not sure how rigid it is? (Thank you for all your tutorials, I only started sewing in September and you are my #1 go-to whenever I’m looking for a tutorial. So clear and concise and a pleasure to watch and follow - thank you ☺️)
I'm not sure, I just used a piece of scrap foam and didnt measure it first. I was teaching more of the technique instead of the exact sized final project.

I've never made a handle like that. This is the first time I've seen that technique. Thank you. Cute bag.
Glad you liked it! I've been using that handle style for a couple of years and really love it!
We bought my granddaughter a kitchen set too! She loves it! I am sewing these bins for her kitchen accessories. Thanks, Whitney!
Very clear and no-nonsense instructions. Filled me with confidence that I could tackle this as well. Many thanks.
Glad it helped!

You could fold over the top, but it would be bulky and probably wouldn't stay unless sewn

The corners look SO thick. Did you sew this on Frankie? I love it!
Sure did! The foam is super easy to sew through, even when it's several layers
