You speak like a bajan but you are such a beautiful jamaican. Welcome to Barbados and all of us bajans would make your stay a one not to forget .glad you make Barbados your home
I actually had to listen very carefully at first to determine where you originated but the mixture of the accents sounds really nice. Welcome to Bim!! Enjoy every bit of it. You will meet some interesting characters that will definitely make you laugh. If interested, you can actually try hiking. They are groups that hike every weekend in various areas of the country. I can suggest a couple if you are Interested.
Sounds like you're picking up the Bajan twang. Barbados is 166 square miles. Bajans think busfare too high because if you have to take two buses you pay $3.50 on each bus.
It hurts when you have to pay $3.50 compared to what it used to be when I was going to school in the 90’s $1.00 and adults were $1.50 no matter which part of the island your going, so yea…
You sound very much like Rihanna.I am not sure about your Jamaican credentials. Would have to see that birth certificate. Good video...thanks for sharing.
@@livefortheexperience9262 I jumped the gun. This was my first video of yours I saw. I went through and watched your older videos; I took back what I said. Haha, you are definitely from Yaad. You got that Bajan accent on lock.
If you're just visiting... check out the visa requirement in Barbados for your country. If you want to live there then you can start by looking for a job.
Hey, here are 5 Jamaican food places I've been so far: Nyam Nyam Restaurant Jamaica 246 Reggies Real Jamaican Jerk Reggae Jerk Cherry's Jamaican Cuisine There is also one called Chef Fittz Kitchen that I'd like to try soon. You should be able to find more info on them on google if you put Barbados behind each name.
I take it you have decided to adopt a bajan accent which I presume helps you fit in a little better? I say that because you have a full natural jamaican accent in previous videos so maybe you have decided to start speaking like a bajan to stop people asking 'where are you from, are you a Jamaican' etc? We know it's practically almost impossible to speak with an authentic accent in a new country within just a few short years. I'm sure no doubt, when you get angry, that Jamaican accent will show up revealing your true emotions which will always come back instantly when you're upset but hey, good for you if it helps. Great inside info and enjoy Barbados.
Barbados is much safer mainly because it as a tiny population and its very tiny . Compared to Jamaica ofcourse the crime rate is gonna be much lower. It depends where you live in Jamaica. Why wouldn't you feel welcome jamaica is so global and popular. You need to talk about the good in Jamaica as well. All I'm hearing is a jamaican glorifying Barbados and not saying anything positive about their own country. I would like to know where in jamaica you grew up seriously. Because jamaica is like close to 30 times the size of Barbados.
What else do you want to find out?
When are you planning to come back home?
As a dreadlocks Hairstylist do you think I would do good business there ? I would love to move there

I love, love Barbados 🇧🇧 ❤️. I will be in Barbados in 23 days for the 16th time. I am a Bajan at heart.
Definitely, putting Barbados on my list of places to visit. I love their beaches.
Yes some of the most beautiful beaches in the world we have here in Barbados
Barbados is that way because it's a tiny island all the smaller islands are safer and more friendlier and laid back.
The beaches are beautiful and so are you! I am glad you are loving it here.

NEW SUBCRIBER....I am 🇯🇲 looking at Barbados...as a place to retire.
Welcome..
Its refreshing that u say they accept outsiders. A common narrative u hear is they dont like Jamaicans so hearing otherwise is really nice.
Yea, true. I've heard it too but the people I've met so far were all nice to me.
Im a bajan n we loveeee jamaicans n everybody else n im cool with everybody
I'm Bajan and I love my Jamaican people
@@livefortheexperience9262 blessings from Kingston Jamaica new to your UA-cam channel you still live in Barbados??
I've stayed in bar barbados for 10 months it was wonderful and alittle trying. I'm planning to move there but my mind is still all over the place.
Sounds like you're picking up the Bajan twang. Barbados is 166 square miles. Bajans think busfare too high because if you have to take two buses you pay $3.50 on each bus.
Lol. I'm slowly starting to pick up the twang. When I just got here in 2018 the fare was still $2 so it still hurts my heart that it went up by 75%
It hurts when you have to pay $3.50 compared to what it used to be when I was going to school in the 90’s $1.00 and adults were $1.50 no matter which part of the island your going, so yea…

Hi George, yes ofcourse.

Yes, it came naturally after a year or so. I had no Jamaican friends while I was there so eventually I wasn't even able to hear my own self.
