My new buddy Travis moved here from Oklahoma to get closer to all the great trails in Northwest Arkansas. We took on Mount Fitzgerald in Springdale and had a blast on all the tough rocky features.
This was one of the best rides so far!

Man. I can't tell you how much I love the Rode Wireless GO 2 setup you're using. Changing the game in how we hear the guests and REALLY gives you a chance to talk to them more and provide more info for the viewer. Love it man. Great work.
Agreed!
I think it’ll be the new standard, and the only way to have a conversation while riding from now on. It changed the game, it pushes forward the plan of going places and meeting the people that live and ride there. Simple, but mega effective!
Another thing to break and run out of batteries, but I'm going for it!
@@bkxc With great battery power comes great recordability.
yeah! great work with the mic!
@@bkxc Its so worth it. I'm loving it too. Also great job on picking the new roll out song. Catchy!
5:13 thx for the trailforks reporting tip!
please ride little Switzerland bike park in wisconsin.
what kind of pedals and shoes do you ride? im just getting into mountain biking and have used clipless for all my other bikes prior to this
why is your maxle facing down thats unsafe its supossed to face back
I think you're developing a new sub-genre of MTB video...the ridden interview...
It could be like hot ones, but instead of wings, the trails get progressively harder....
@@mmoreno509 Hell yes, thats a great comparison and idea!
@@UndeadScene how exactly is he getting mic input from the other rider?
Man that Travis guy can work a trail.... (Sees bump: makes 6ft of air....)
I went to Springdale High School, and I took a geography class and my major project was trying to find a new location for bike trails and found that location separately from the city, and we went to talk to them and they told me that they saw the same potential at that spot.
Is Travis wearing a mic? Nice touch!
I'm wondering the same! Perfect audio... at first I thought it was an interview overlayed while they rode.
I think I've noticed Sarah wearing a mic in recent videos too.
Yes, I noticed that too! Are you wearing some kind of headphones for the return too?
I wondered that about the headphones for the return too. It can be really hard to hear someone ahead of you on the trail!
Came to comments to ask this very thing.
Yay Travis! I've ridden with him before. He's a great rider. 👍 Looks like you all had a fun day!
Travis is such an awesome dude to ride with!
Another great overview man! Pretty to cool to see you following Travis, he rips!
Travis needs to start his own YT channel...
Bridge is no longer out.
That had to be the best set of trails I've seen in the Arkansas series 👌
Whoa, that was like a podcast on the trail! Digging the dual-mic setup, or however you're getting that crystal-clear audio from the rider out in front.
Man we miss Travis back here in Oklahoma!!!
3:40 "Not pretty". Sums up my inner monologue every time I'm riding. But doesn't have to be pretty to be fun! 🙂
Dude - You are inspiration to me, I'm relatively new to the sport and I don't send it. You constantly prove that you don't need to send it to have fun, I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos
Travis!! Hope you are doing well man, come back out CO for a ride!
Having a second mic is so good...nice to hear the conversations etc. Nice improvement.
@bkxc ya should do quick bike checks on peeps you riding with
Love to see the Oklahomies represent out there. As always love the videos.
Fitzgerald is cool! I always wondered how much $ was spent on all the rock that forms the trail. And wow, the guy you are riding with is GOOD!
The fact that it’s snowing now in Northwest Arkansas is crazy for this time of year
In 2013 we had snow in may
Wow this really does look like one of the best trails I’ve seen. I gotta get out there. Also your new outro music is bangin!
Hey Travis! Nice riding man! Most importantly thanks for helping me a few weeks ago with the front wheel setup on my Spot. Rode great my whole trip there!
Good to hear! Take care buddy!
Fitzgerald is my favorite trail system in NWA. glad to see it get some recognition
You can tell that you and Travis jell well together. He is a beast!
Would this trail be doable on a hard tail? Love the Vids!
i don't understand why not clear that branch?
you redefine the word enthousiastic again and again... If one needs a happy day, all one has to do is watch one of your videos!!!
"Even BKXC can do it. It's a sad day for a gnarly trail." Good stuff.
It is so frustrating all those nice kickers left on the side
I agree NWA needs to stop dumbing down the trails. The gaps at fitz were perfect. People should know their skill level and it gives them something to work towards. I hit that gap tons of times and it felt like an actual accomplishment. Now all the trails cater to beginners and theres nothing to work towards
Arkansas seems like such a humble place, with rad people!
It’s really great!
You should go to gregory mtb park in fayetteville arkansas while your there
yall slayed some of my favorite trails in NWA and is so sick to watch
Like this style of video! thanks
10:14 wow!!!!
Amazing footage. I just love the mountains, and love living in a city where I’m surrounded by them. Thanks for sharing! Cool channel! I’m following!
Oh I need some of that in my life. Looks like a blast.
Loving the electric shifting? Forgive me not remembering the specific name.
Springdale looks amazing! I've been to Bentonville 3 times, but need to go farther afield apparently. Thanks.
Gnarkansis, hey I know that young sender😉cool video guys, would have been cool if Y’all got a shot of the Lilly pad there, next time!👊 Far 🛸 out guys!
It went together easily in less than an hour. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Make sure the front fork is forward or the pedals will hit the front tire. Tires are both a little soft so it needs air before I ride it. The rear wheel didn't come with a clamp regular bolts hold it on. The front had the clamp. No scratches out of box. Rims are a little off with a slight wobble. They could have spent more time with the spoke tool fixing the run out. So far out of the box I'm happy with it. I did replace the pedals with a nice aftermarket set. After riding it a bit my A$$ is a bit sore so I ordered another seat. Overall I'm nearly 60 and didn't ride a bike in 30 years. I like my new 29" Schwinn. It will be used for casual rides with my friend.
I was looking at houses and noticed this trail fairly close to some I was looking at - great video to sample the trail virtually! I've visted NWA several times since the 2012 Ouchita challenge and this appears to be a somewhat hidden gem!
What is minimum seatpost height for a 26-inch wheel bike with 17-inch frame Does that fit 4' 7'' height and 27'' inseam
Looks ok, but I hope we’ve reached peak “overbuilt”. Some of that stuff was basically pavement 12’ wide.
I love Rock Solids trail work. They truly have a KILLER team building trails all over the area.
I told them I wished the State of MN would give them a million bucks and 50 acres so that we could have our own Kanuga out here.
Real Mountainbikers would remove this small branch, probably faster than putting it into any app ;)
Arkansas!!!
You all should’ve hit 1857 while you were at the top!
Seems alot of labor went into building that trail. I would imagine finding and moving all that rock to form jumps and landings too some time and effort to build right. I need to make visiting the state AR as a MTB destintation. Trail network looks amazing.
Glad you enjoyed my go to MTB trail. I live only a couple miles away from it. A Super nice ride, coyote cave is my favorite part of the trail.
So, "Best trail ever" is the name of one of the trails. Maybe not the best, but looks nice. Travis is quite the rider.
Come to Northwoods out in Hot Springs,Ar !!
So you had lessons to help you jump but you aren’t attempting the smaller jumps!
Was this trail more fun compared to devil's den trail??
Shouldn't have ridden Broken Spoke in your last video?
you should come check out pinnacle mountain mtb trails in Little rock arkansas
You might have been able to twist that branch around for a bit and eventually it would come off.
Travis is sick. You always having fun 🫶👊☄️
Your conversation are so clear! How did you do that??
Note to self: In order to be a good mountain biker you must be a smidge off your rocker.
Y'all should ride with "Sam pilgrim "
“Crazy how muddy it is” where?!?!
Just got into MTB and i'm loving it!!, Any tips?
Brian..flats..I am tellin ya bro..
Do you know what bike Travis is riding?
I live in Bella Vista. Travis and Seth at the shop are top notch.
Nice
Fitzgerald sounds very german
Amazing, new setups sound great and have great visuals! Keep up the amazing production but still casual relatable feel
I came to echo what everyone else is saying about the dual mic setup. Very nice Brian. 👌 I also came to ask if you skipped the gnarly rock roll that should have been at @9:40 or so. That thing was so crazy I can’t believe you wouldn’t show it. Unless they removed it. Also, skinny section you rode out onto and has the steep drop in, is no joke. You should watch Pat Smage hit that. He rode up it!!! Lastly, they made “bridge is out” into a blue trail. That trail was serious!!!
just take the F N branch down
Hey Brain,I’m looking forward into getting in mountain biking,I’m wondering if (you or anybody) has any suggestions on mountain bikes I should get under $1,400?Keep up the great content!!!🤙🏻
I love this product !
Wow looks like a blast.
This mountains name is my last name
Love your perspective on dumbing down trails. There is a HUGE DIFFERENCE between accessibility and making it so everyone can ride everything.
Great Dale Earnhardt reference!
Viagem boa nessa bicicleta boa!
Great video as always! Makes me want to go out and ride after I watch your vids! Quick question, are you using 800mm wide bars or did you cut them down? What grips are you using? Any good? Do they clamp down or no? I’m always worried when I clamp down anything to my One Up carbon bars. Thanks man!
I like watching this one the best
Top five trails nice
Hello my friend
These trails look INCREDIBLE! Kudos to the builders for having such an amazing vision and to you Brian and Travis for sharing the stoke!
Can you give me a one bicycle
I wana see more like this!
I thought Les Sentiers du Moulin was your favorite place! :P
Just kidding, but can't wait until you come do a residency in Bromont ;)
😭😭😭😭cycle no😭😭😭😭😭
Chocolate chip pancakes ,made for you and riding some sweet trails. You lucky bastard thanks keep the videos coming
Too bad i didn't know you would be out that way, my family has a house on Beaver Lake near Rogers AR that you might have been able to use. Great to see your videos.
I actually hit the drop on bridge is out when the bridge was out, needless to say the run in was awful and it was the most insane thing Ive done now that I look back it. It took me many run ups and i did it a few times trying to get the even crazier jump that was after it, I never did it btw. Glad they changed it but would’ve been cool for you to see it before!
That cave you passed on Coyote Cave trail has graffiti in it dating back to the early 1800s!
Those trails are a lot of fun I'm glad I live 5 minutes away, and Wagon Ride is my new favorite over there! Glad Springdale got some love in this Arkansas series!
Been really enjoying the Arkansas stuff you’re doing!
I recently moved away from NWA for a job. This whole series of vids have been painful to watch because I miss it so much. 😩
Amazing video
Everyone needs a Drew!
