My wife surprised me with a private lesson with Lee when I was in Colorado for a mountain bike trip, and it was the best money I have ever spent on cycling. I had been mountain biking for over 10 years at that point, and I had watched every video he was in on UA-cam. However, being with him in person to get instant feedback and feel his stoke for biking changed my riding life. I cannot emphasize how extraordinary of a difference it made compared to any new bike or upgrades I have ever made. I am counting down the days until I can go back to have another lesson with him and so should you!

Yes, why am I finding this 2w late. This is the type of MTB content that is missing. I follow and love watching UCI, RedBull events, pro rider edits, UA-camrs. But there's a big gap in more relatable content with a story driven format.

I get a little chocked up when I see the magic of bikes. I just love them. they are exactly what you need. you can get lost in the simple task of just peddling and be free to meditate or focus on the task completely and be free to cast your problems aside for a while, don't worry they will return as soon as you are finished with your ride.☮

I thought I was a pretty good mountain biker until I met a few sections in Bentonville that were light years out of my league. It’s a wonderful place in that you can find something as easy or as challenging as your skill set allows. Good luck, you all; you’re inspiring me to get out there, too!

I started mountain biking as kid in 1992 for many reasons but one of them was that I was tired of everyone that was into BMX as me being so serious, then I ended up racing XC, then DH in 1998, I was starting to hate that sport because it was always about getting ahead. Freeride gave me freedom, all of this to say personally these skill clinics are my worst nightmare 😂

Do a segment on bike fit, especially cockpit. Only one rider was on bars that were the correct width, and that was a huge limiting factor in terms of bike/body separation. The smaller the rider the more this shows.

They are training for a race where it’s a necessity to have clipless pedals. Train the way you race so that you can limit these types of mistakes when it counts. Everyday riding? Sure, throw on some flats but not for a race like Leadville.
