@@Jamesairhvac The housing looks different because it's not a Red Arrow. This is a Decot Engineering Works siren, which was made after Ted Decot passed away and his designs were reproduced by a different company.
Yeah, on that one someone took a Sawzall to the 15 port side of the rotor it seems, only the 10 port side makes any sound and you can see the top missing.
@@I_also_like_sirens_hehe is the Darrington unit active? i do know there are 2 model 2’s at the fire departments aswell. 1 fedelcode 1 Federal pretty sure the decot is inactive due to the siren current state
What an appropriate town for one of these to be in. That's all that holds them together!
I know right!
Well that’s surprising
As a Californian, I appreciate the fact that this looks like a Scream Master.
Nice! I never know Minnesota had any decots left, this is amazing!
Incredible! Wish we had more decots!
Me too, at least we have like the highest number of Ericks in any state though.
The one and only decot left in Minnesota!
Nice. Love that classic sound!
Digitally mastered thx pitch
This is incredible!
Thanks!
That part on top is just ASKING for it to be struck by lightning.
Yeah when I first saw it I thought it was an antenna or something. I have no idea why it's there.
Bad decision by the town to be honest, that decot’s also asking for a fate similar to the cosgrave siren
Why does it not look like a decot tornado siren???
And what are the ropes on the bottom of the siren???
@@Jamesairhvac I think those are to hold the siren to the pole/mount.
@@szsirensofmn and why does the housing look different ?
@@Jamesairhvac It might be a different design than the red arrow, I don't have much knowledge about this model yet.

Not the first video, but an excellent one. Caddott, WI had one of these in yellow that got recorded a few times
