There are some features that weren't touched upon with this model. For instance the driver's seat adjustments can be saved to 2 different settings, so 2 drivers can get in and press their button, and the seat adjusts back to where they had it. Also, the vehicle comes with two key fobs. If two drivers keep one each, the vehicle remembers which setting you set the seat two the last time you unlocked the vehicle with your key fob. So in future, as soon as you unlock the vehicle with your key fob, the seat as well as the power side mirrors adjust themselves to how you had them. And same for the other driver with their key fob. There's also a button on the trunk door which you can push as it's opening and it will stop where it is. Then if you hold that button until it beeps, it will remember that spot. Now whenever you open your trunk, whether with your fob or manually from inside or outside the vehicle, it will only open as far as you set it to open. You can manually adjust it to a new position, press and hold the button again, and it will reset it's memory to that spot. Pretty cool :)
After so many reviews I've watched on this car...just earlier today, I sat in one...definitely made up my mind...This will be my first car! Styling exterior and interior far exceeded my expectations in person than from the videos.
Another great in depth review, Kyle! We actually took ownership of the '15 platinum pearl white/cashmere in early January. We moved up from a 2009 Murano and what a difference. The CVT is hardly noticeable and the aesthetics are something you wouldn't think Nissan could produce (outside of concepts). The only gripe I have is the visibility but thankfully it has the surround cameras.

Congratz for the consistant improvment and i hope u will also keep improving on every aspect u can :) my rating on this channel is 10/10
So glad you are doing Nissans again! Love it, hope you do more, especially the new Maxiima when it comes out when you can, but thanks for this video, love this version of the Murano, as stylish now as the first gen was when it was released, nice work Kyle!
This is a fantastic review! Very helpful to know all the features and tecnical specs/details. Very nice car - just leased one out of the dealership today 😀 Keep up the great work!!
@@GD15555 I personally think Jakeman21642 is a large competitor, he does a lot more cars and different generations, but Kyle usually goes on top with production value and the high end cars. I go to jake to watch something about an older affordable car.
Thank you Kyle so much for putting all this time and effort into your videos! Please continue to do them! I love cars and this is my favorite car channel on UA-cam. Lol :)
I enjoyed every minute of this in-depth video of the new 2015 Nissan Murano! I am in love with this SUV! It looks so luxurious inside and out and is definitely a step up from the previous generation Murano! Kyle, you have done a great job on giving this in-depth tour of this fabulous vehicle! Thank you! Have you done, or will you do the new Infiniti Q50 sedan yet? I'd love to see a review on that just as you have done on the Murano... Thanks Kyle! :)
Thanks for this great video! You did a heck of a job! I'm thinking of the 2015 Murano or the CX-5 from Mazda....but I think this video helps me decide. Great car and I like the extra power of the V6. The only concern is the fuel but it looks like it might not be too bad. Thanks for the great video!

This is an excellent review that combines the detail I wanted after the general overview of the vehicle. Great Job! The vehicle seems to be far more than what I would have ever guessed a non-luxury vehicle could be. Compared to so many other vehicles, this is luxurious! Thanks!
purchased the vehicle. 2 months ago . its is. truly great the NASA inspired zero gravity seats is the best out their. the vehicle was meant to go against luxury brands it stands out and it holds its own. its a smooth ride. i got the sl version with the panoramic moonroof 9 speaker dual sub sound system.. no ragrets . see it and drive it personally it will change your point of view on how you feel about it if you don't like it.
Man!! I am supposed to be receiving my 2015 Murano Platinum on Thursday, September 10th, 2015... after watching this video, I can't wait until the delivery day !!!!
+Craig Frazier , honestly, it looks a lot better than how it looks in the videos! Both, the exterior and the interior. The driving is amazing and feels so comfortable. Worth every buck. I got the platinum and will never go with a lower trim. The emergency breaking assist saved my life.
+A Al Dallal Thank you for the response. I expect to take delivery of mine Wed, so I'm pretty excited. I agree it looks better in person. My only concern is highway passing power. A lot of reviews give it negative reviews for power, but It didn't seem to lack power when I test drove it. I'm coming from sports cars since 2001. I don't expect sports car power, but I don't want it to be under powered for what it is.
+Craig Frazier , are you getting the 2016 or 2015? I don't think it matters since the new design came out in 2015. Talking about power... I don't find highway passing is an issue at all. But you have to keep in mind that Murano is not a sporty vehicle; It's a luxury SUV.
+A Al Dallal Hi, How is your experience after owning for 7 months? I might be in market for one but getting a feel how things are with CVT transmission since i had a horrible experience with Honda accord. Any feedback will be very helpful guys.
I love the way it looks on the outside but I think the last generation had a better interior and the very first one (2003) was revolutionary and still looks amazing
another great review Kyle. I also find the "listen to the engine" over done but you do the best reviews of anyone. Could also do without "without further Ado" also. My son has the 2015 Pathfinder and I did almost buy the 2013 Murano but found the ride a bit stiff compared to what I did get in the 2011 MKX but it is good to know that this version has a more traditional "old folks" ride and this will be one vehicle I will be recommending to my sister in law who is looking to replace her current vehicle. Thanks again and I will look to see if you have a review of the Mercedes Benz GLA 250 4Matic as what I have read, this vehicle looks to offer many nice options and is in a similar price range in Canada.
I really like the look of the Murano. I often think about the unique looking cars of the 1950's. From a mile away you could see the difference between a Cadillac Eldorado (1954) VS Alfa Romeo 1900 SS Cabriolet. A Ford T-bird (1955) could make you feel totally different VS Cadillac Convertible 1959 with Tailfins... they each looked SOOO different, but that's what made them amazing. Sure, some looked cooler than others, but it was the variety that was so beautiful. Ultimately, cars have become tremendously boring. It's refreshing to see something with personality. I'm in the market and this is one of my top choices. I've test driven both the 2015 Murano and the new Lexus NX F-Sport and frankly I like them both about the same. They both have the same 0-60 MPH time. The Lexus is slightly sportier suspension, but the Murano has a superior interior design & dash.
I've always respected Nissan and their Murano lineup from the day they were launched, but I couldn't bring myself to consider one. This, however, truly stands out in a class of its own both in terms of value and refinement. Of course, no average video could do this new Murano justice, which is why I thank you for this unbelievably in-depth, quality review. After looking at your video, it certainly has changed my perspective a little on it, and the Murano will most definitely be a consideration come time to upgrade our SUV. With that said, as much as you enjoyed the CVT, it's still a major turn-off for me. But, I'm willing to put that aside if it means getting a wonderful overall experience. Cheers! Keep up the awesome work!
Darren on Cars (NoKia4U) Thanks so much for you feedback, glad you enjoyed! I guess my best advice is to experience the CVT for yourself, it's phenomenal as far as CVTs go.
I definitely think the Murano SV with Premium Package is the way to go. Waiting till the end of the year to find a certified used one for under $30,000
You make excellent reviews good sir. I currently own a 2009 Murano but desperately desire to upgrade to the 2015 Platinum Murano in Black. It is very probable that I will; only a matter of time. I love this car, excellent value for what you receive. One thing I wish you included in your review is how the GPS looks/behaves while driving, and what options (if any) are there to change the way the GPS map looks. Curious to see if the GPS maps can be changed to look similar to google earth satellite view; or is it just stuck to the one base option. I'll explore that further when I go out for a test drive. :) Thank-you for an awesome review!
Your reviews are always thorough and enjoyable, even if the car in question is unbelievably hideous. Nissan stylists have simply lost their way -- bulbous and enormous Pathfinder, appalling new Maxima, etc. but love your reviews.
Do you have any plans of filming a Lincoln Continental Mark III and/or IV? Really like these cars but can't find any detailed indepth vids about them.., Really like your channel, keep them coming!
Kyle, i think you should do more truck review from now on. Cause there are many americans who would love to see your reviev which is very specific and helpful. I don.t see 2015 Tundra 2015 Ram 1500 2500 or some subarus. So i would appreciate if you reconsider my suggestion. Thank you
for new cars that you get to use to review for a week or so for a video, i like the format. use this format for these video and your old format for older cars and new cars the dealer will only let you have for the day.
I don't understand why a vehicle of this price range don't have HID or LED headlights as standard. I'd have to step up to the platinum trim to get LED headlights.
here in the Philippines, with all the japanese car brands here, only Nissan's vehicles haas a good and very cold aircon. I owned a 2004 nissan xtrail and until now the aircon works perfect..
Out of all the cars that offer a CVT transmission, Nissan does it best. As much as I dislike CVTs, I will say after daily commuting one to work 5 days a week, it's really smooth and fuel efficient.
Perhaps they use a different CVT for the higher up Nissans because I absolutely hate the CVT in my Mom's Sentra. It doesn't "rubberband" per se but it just allows the engine to drone too much at times. The smoothness is nice but any good transmission with actual gears will shift smooth. The 6 speed Aisin units in Toyotas are very smooth and the 5 G tronic in my Benz is smooth too especially after I changed the damn mounts.

Your ability to review a vehicle in an unbiased fashion is very impressive. Keep up the great work.

1. What's wrong with just pudding a button before you sit down.
2. I see no problem whatsoever with the second paragraph.
