Nasal polyps can indeed vary in their persistence. While they often require medical intervention for treatment, it's possible for them to regress or resolve on their own in some cases, especially in children. However, if you're experiencing severe pain on one side of your face along with the appearance of a new nasal polyp, it's crucial to consult with an ear, nose, and throat specialist or healthcare provider. They can evaluate the situation, confirm the diagnosis, and recommend appropriate treatment options, which may include medications or, in some cases, surgical removal. It's essential to address any new symptoms and seek professional guidance for your specific condition.

My GP just gave me cream to rub in the entrance of my nose as I was having severe nosebleeds. I knew there was something more going on. After 5 yrs of this and other misdiagnosing I ended up in A & E with a nose bleed that didn't dtop for nearly 2 hours. This was the catylst. I was eventually (at last someone listened to me) sent to an ENT specialist and they confirmed there was a growth in my nose. Six months and many appointments later I had a huge polyp taken out of my left nostril. new lease of life or what !!
nasal rinse your sinuses. Keep them clean. I had bad sinus stuffiness. started nasal rinses and also used a nebulizer with distilled water and a extremely light solution of hydrogen peroxide. Do this religiously for over a year and things will change for the better. Its a slow process but beats medicine and surgery. Also add alkalol to a nasal mister bottle and do daily nasal misting to constantly clean your sinuses of chronic bacteria. You need to reverse the bacteria colony slowly and continually
@altermode Thank you for sharing your experience with nasal rinses and how they helped with sinus stuffiness! It’s great to hear that regular nasal care, using a combination of rinses and a nebulizer with distilled water, brought relief over time. Slowly reversing chronic bacterial buildup sounds like a mindful approach to dealing with persistent sinus issues, and adding alkalol to a nasal mister seems like a helpful addition to the routine. It's always encouraging to know that non-surgical methods can be effective for long-term sinus health. Stay consistent and keep up the good work!

Persistent Sinus problems with or without nasal polyps or candida / yeast infection on the tongue could be an early warning sign of a bigger future problem. Please do NOT ignore this advice. Do a medical check-up for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) as your symptoms may be originating from a form of Hiatal Hernia and/or an H. pylori infection ( I had to do an endoscopy with biopsy to confirm this as it did not show in my blood or stool even though it was in my stomach). You would be surprised how problems with your gastrointestinal tract affect your overall well-being. Other symptoms may include Anxiety, vertex headaches, chest discomfort, shoulder and neck tension/ discomfort, unexplained weight loss and difficulty gaining weight, iron deficiency, anemia, dizziness, nausea, fatigue, loss of appetite, shortness of breath, sudden severe cold (because of air trapped within the GI tract, palpitations (high pulse), high blood pressure especially at night or while asleep or even slightly low blood pressure,
Thank you for sharing your insights; it's a good reminder of how interconnected our body systems are and the importance of thorough medical evaluations to address underlying issues.

To anyone who has severe nasal polyps, get the surgery done NOW, RIGHT NOW. Nasal polyps will eat away at your bones and potentially spread to your brain. If I can help someone here it goes. I tried everything to improve my breathing thru BOTH of my nostril. I been breathing thru one nostril for 6 months now and life been a struggle. If you having this issue, you know what I am saying. I went to see a ENT specialists and I was given the typical steroids and nasal spray (Fluticasone ). It didn't help at all. I bought a humidifier, nasal strips and net pot.. humidifier didn't work. Net pot and strips did clear my passages airway SOMETIMES but it still felt like I was breathing thru one nostril.. UNTIL on June 9th around 3pm.. I was in dollar general and decide to buy nasal spray but a different brand .. it called Rexall extra moisturizing in a orange box... I gave it a tried and immediately I can breathe thru BOTH nostril. I took a nap and woke up around 10pm and I slept good. Probably the best nap in a long time. I don't even care I slept to early which why I am writing this post at 1am (June 10th).. I can breathe again. I don't know if this temporary but I will keep everyone updated.. Rexall nasal Spray work. I will post this comment on several similar video to see if I can help someone.. I am not a doctor but this was my experience...

@GeraldLewis-v6f Nasal polyps can definitely cause discomfort, from stuffiness and reduced sense of smell to sinus pressure. If you’re experiencing these symptoms, it’s a good idea to see an ENT specialist-they can assess and suggest treatments, like nasal sprays or other options, to help manage and relieve those symptoms. Hang in there, and take care!
@abubakaromer5860 Having a nasal polyp at 16, especially if you’ve had it since age 3, is not uncommon and can occur without allergies or other conditions. While nasal polyps are generally benign, they can cause symptoms like nasal congestion or breathing issues. If they don’t bother you or cause complications, they may not need treatment, but it’s best to consult with an ENT specialist to monitor the condition and discuss potential options.
Sir i have a problem of nose polyp.. My sleep is totally disturbed from two years and my nose discharge too much sputum though throat...... So what i should to do... Plaese tell me solution.
If anyone wants a quick fix to breath (not smell but might be because of how bad mine are) for 10hrs at a time, use Sudafed spray. I can touch my nose polyps and see them, but to worried about the surgery and I’ve had the prednisone which really woks, neti pot, immune system boosters, and flexinase (not so much).
For a quick and effective 10-hour relief from nasal congestion, try Sudafed spray; for persistent nasal polyps, consult your healthcare provider for a comprehensive treatment plan.
@qandeelkhan675 Lemna Minor 200 is a homeopathic remedy that is sometimes recommended for conditions like nasal polyps, as it is believed to help with inflammation and symptoms associated with the sinuses. However, it’s important to keep in mind that homeopathic treatments can vary in effectiveness from person to person, and scientific evidence supporting their use for nasal polyps is limited. If you're considering this treatment, it’s best to consult with a healthcare professional, especially if you have ongoing symptoms or are looking for more conventional treatment options like nasal sprays, corticosteroids, or surgical options for managing nasal polyps. Always ensure any treatment is discussed with your doctor to find the best approach for your health.

@premkbhanabhagvanwala1784 I understand that you're feeling nervous about your surgery, and it's completely normal to have those emotions. It's a big step, but remember that surgeries are often routine procedures, and your healthcare team will be there to ensure you're well taken care of. Try to focus on the positive side-afterward, you’ll be on the path to recovery and feeling better. It can also be helpful to talk to someone close to you for support, or even ask your doctor if you have any questions about the procedure. You’ve got this, and you'll come through stronger on the other side! Wishing you a smooth surgery and speedy recovery. 💙
I had a nasal polyp removed when i was 15, and ive realised its grown again over tje years so likely to need anothernoperation i havent been abke to smell for years and years but just put it down to allergies 🤣 turns out the polyp was causing this!
@jonathanbarron8311 It sounds like you've been dealing with this issue for a while, and it's understandable that you initially attributed it to allergies. Nasal polyps can cause a range of symptoms, including the loss of smell, congestion, and difficulty breathing through the nose. It's quite common for them to recur after removal, so it's not surprising that you're noticing the growth again. If you haven't already, it's a good idea to consult with an ENT specialist to evaluate the situation and discuss treatment options. In some cases, medications like nasal steroids can help manage the polyps, but if they’ve grown back significantly, surgery might be needed again. It must be frustrating not being able to smell for so long, but you're on the right path now by identifying the cause. Hopefully, with the right treatment, you’ll be able to get some relief and regain your sense of smell!

@hellheaven-zl1wl I'm so sorry you're going through such an overwhelming experience-it’s incredibly tough to deal with chronic health issues, especially when you feel unsupported. Please know that your frustration is valid, and you don’t have to face this alone. Reach out to trusted friends, family, or a mental health professional who can offer emotional support and guidance. Your life is valuable, and there is hope even in the toughest moments-don’t give up. 🌟💛

@falconarakans6737 I'm really sorry you've been dealing with this for so long, and I completely understand your frustration with feeling like your condition wasn't properly addressed. It’s good to hear that you've found a doctor who seems to be offering a solution, and it sounds like you're finally on the path to getting the care you deserve. Polyps, especially when they block breathing and lead to a loss of smell, can significantly affect your quality of life, so it's great that you're taking steps toward removal. I hope your surgery in January goes smoothly, and that it provides much-needed relief. Wishing you a speedy recovery and better health in the near future! Stay strong! 🙏💪

I hate polyps.

nasal rinse your sinuses.

Other symptoms may include Anxiety, vertex headaches, chest discomfort, shoulder and neck tension/ discomfort, unexplained weight loss and difficulty gaining weight, iron deficiency, anemia, dizziness, nausea, fatigue, loss of appetite, shortness of breath, sudden severe cold (because of air trapped within the GI tract, palpitations (high pulse), high blood pressure especially at night or while asleep or even slightly low blood pressure,

eat chili peppers - chilis contain a chemical that helps reduce nose polyps .
Use Tea Tree Oil - dilute first then swab the polyps with it - this can reduce polpys and reduce symptoms.
cosume more food high in anioxidants - broccoli, citrus fruits etc - these can reduce nose polyps naturally.

Im 15 and i can't breathe well
If I can help someone here it goes.

I have the symptoms of this here
@GeraldLewis-v6f Nasal polyps can definitely cause discomfort, from stuffiness and reduced sense of smell to sinus pressure. If you’re experiencing these symptoms, it’s a good idea to see an ENT specialist-they can assess and suggest treatments, like nasal sprays or other options, to help manage and relieve those symptoms. Hang in there, and take care!
@MedicalCentric I will and thanks

Is it ok if you have nasal polyp at the age of 16 i got it when i was 3 i so not have allergies or any condition

Lemna Minor 200, is recommended for nasal polyps. This is homeopathic medicine to prevent formation of nasal polyps.
I struggled with nasal polyps for years until I tried IAFA Ayurveda's natural remedies. Within just three months, I experienced significant relief and improved breathing. Their holistic approach truly made a difference in my life. I highly recommend their treatments for anyone seeking effective and natural solutions.
@AruneshAgrawal-pp1oh That’s amazing to hear! It’s great that IAFA Ayurveda's natural remedies provided such relief for your nasal polyps. Natural and holistic approaches can sometimes work wonders, especially when conventional treatments don’t seem to help. Thank you for sharing your positive experience-it might inspire others to explore alternative solutions for similar issues! 😊🌿

I will have surgery at 21st Dec 2024.😢
How did it go?
I have in november FESS operation. So far so good.
Hopefully, with the right treatment, you’ll be able to get some relief and regain your sense of smell!

both nasal pipes have been affected the left and right and when i went to the doctor today cause the polyp cameback they simply did not want to say they do not have the blade to cut the polyp so they used the excuse that it was in my neck
It feels like i am being punished even now BY THIS DAMN POLYP WHY DOES IT HAVE TO COME BACK SOMETIMES I WONDER IF I COULD SACRIFICE SOMETHING I AM SO FRUSTRATED BY THIS THAT I WISH I COMMITED SUICIDE NOW BUT SINCE THE DOCTORS CAN NOT DO IT HERE IN SHARJAH I AM LOSING MORALE
