Actually.. now with the new dlc you can reach 18-19 levels. I would start with rogue, (free weapon finesse, two weapon fighting, +1d6 sneak attack. Then follow with your build. End up with more more feat and +1 sneak attack die. Probably monk after rogue the the rest vivisectionist.
You did a lot of rogue build but why is there no love for the eldricht rogue ? So why not make one ? Or something like a hexblade (as in a PC that stack a lot of debuff).Also quick dumb question: would it be possible to use cleric touch spell with spellstrike ?

I tried to start an Abyssal melee sorc...but had a hard time early game since he sucked at basically everything. Would like to see your take on how to build a melee sorc that utilizes the abyssal passives mid/late game for someone with great melee with an offensive spell repertoire.
Character from another game system I'd like to play in pathfinder but don't know how to make. Full plate tank who uses fire magic for summons and augments (burns the ground around them, infuses fire mastic into their weapon, etc.) I see the pieces in kingmaker but can't figure out how to put them together to make the character work. Should invoke the feeling of seeing a fully armored dwarf walking out of a furnace, preferably with a cohort of fire elementals by his side.
Love your builds Liquid! Keep it up! I know you've already done at least 1 scaled fist build, but I did a Scaled Fist, Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer, Dragon Disciple build that was really fun. 1 level Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer, 5 levels Dragon Disciple, 10 levels Scaled Fist Monk. The extra 4 strength from Dragon Disciple lets you unlock power attack and corrugon smash with a character that started with 9 strength, if you want to min max. Plus sorcerer spells for flavor. Fun stuff.
What about 2-handed-weapon-swinging enemy-cleaving tank build? With all those juicy 2-hander drops in game having just Amiri being able to use them... is very disappointing.
Wont be better change WIS to CHA and tradicional to scale fist? CHA is hard ovepowered stat, you lose some wis checks but as halfling you will have more cha and bestow grace. In total you recived much more then from wis. And early mutagen still lower your wis.
Magic shield does not stack with normal shield, True. But it still absorbs Magic Missiles. It is as far as i remember the only defence against that spell.
Yes i understand that. The key argument i try to settle is that it is still useful if a enemy spams Magic Missile like that flying skull in the Candlemere Tower because it still absorbs 100% of the incoming Shots.
You use trip a whole lot. Makes me want to get trip stuff going. Is trip only worth using with the cloak and a bite attack or is it always worth using?
I used it with the cloak because its an automatic that makes you not have to click trip, so you can also do your regular 9 attacks per round AND trip them

Regarding Barkskin, it's a bonus *to* natural armor, not a natural armor bonus itself. If you had no source of natural armor, then the game just says, "your natural armor is 0, and this adds +4 to that, so your natural armor is effectively +4."
I made a pretty beast Kintetic knight earth based trip 1 into bard into DD for bites + more strength+con and the Bite/trip cloak it got me through hard pretty easy, he was a tank and did damage because of the way kinetic blast scaled.
I made a nice Kinetic Knight build that dipped Monk and paired with a Bite Trip Vivi merc. Water for AC from Shroud of Water then Earth for AoE trip from Blade Whirlwind with the Bowling Infusion. I also made a nice Kinetic Knight out of Valerie. She went Fire for early access to Dreadful Carnage before going Earth for the AoE trip shenanigans. Any melee with Shatter Defences loves having her around, especially if they have Sneak Attack.

more kineticist would be nice I use my blue flame kin to make a meta wall of fire before combat and then pulling enemies usually kills them before they reach me

Once you reach 60 ac I find its just not much of a point in increasing it anymore, might as well get blurr and mirror image onto yourself in case they even manage to hit you
The only problem I have with the builds is that they are built like they are going to be soloing. Every caster build is taking haste, delay poison communal, et al. Are there really no better spells for your TANK to be taking than what you've chosen here. You are going to have at least 2 casters in your party that aren't the tank, shouldn't those toons be taking the party buff stuff so your frontline tank can focus on casting spells that are going to help them survive? I like the ideas behind these builds, but the spell selection for a tank seem to forget you are going to be traveling with 5 companions.
Yes you're right about the companions. The reason I show them picking these spells and buffs and what not, is because I want to showcase their solo capability. People ask for an Amiri build. They don't ask for an Amiri and Octavia build.

@@ArcaneAgent I'm glad you made this build! It's so close to my build. I just picked up a level of Knife Master coz I wanted d8 sneak attacks with punching daggers/daggers. I love the idea of taking a potion(mutagen) and just transforming into a monster!
@@ArcaneAgent Just to clarify. I personally like to keep the Roleplay in RPGs as relevant as possible while optimizing the remaining available space. Sometimes a respec can be useful to nudge the character in a more flavorful or powerful direction while keeping it within what that character's personality reasonably do. I mostly what your videos so I can learn how to build characters. The game mechanics are so daunting at the beginning that I wouldn't even know where to beginning. I plan to play the game in the future and this is all part of my research to get into the mind space of how to make builds. Actually I have another video idea. A general video on either build making or the mechanics that you need to know to make good builds. Something that is general and can work as a way to get people in the right head space at the time of choosing what to do when each of their characters levels up. When or if to multiclass or what feats to avoid. What feats tend to be good. What weapons are good to specialize in. What are some of the trap feats? I hear for example the game has a lot of undead so some classes are much weaker because of the enemy types available during the campaign.

There is the Mystic theurge for the Divine but still you need Arcane to call for it for it

The eldritch rogue just doesnt level his spells as quick as an arcane trickster wizard rogue does

Would have to be a lawful good thug inquisitor paladin. I love charge. Definitely go for cornugon smash and shatter defenses

18:52 why are you getting the fighting defensively bonus twice? Once at +2 the other +3. Is the +2 from the Halfling cautious fighter?

I have never touched unfair. So I wouldn't know. The build still functions well after the EE dropped, especially with coup we grace

The only problem I have with the builds is that they are built like they are going to be soloing. Every caster build is taking haste, delay poison communal, et al. Are there really no better spells for your TANK to be taking than what you've chosen here. You are going to have at least 2 casters in your party that aren't the tank, shouldn't those toons be taking the party buff stuff so your frontline tank can focus on casting spells that are going to help them survive?
I like the ideas behind these builds, but the spell selection for a tank seem to forget you are going to be traveling with 5 companions.
Yes you're right about the companions. The reason I show them picking these spells and buffs and what not, is because I want to showcase their solo capability.
People ask for an Amiri build. They don't ask for an Amiri and Octavia build.

Could you make more companion builds? really like the valarie and amiri builds. The others dont have to be crazy good or anything but just your opinion on "good" builds for each companion would be awesome. Keep up the great content :D

@@ArcaneAgent I'm glad you made this build! It's so close to my build. I just picked up a level of Knife Master coz I wanted d8 sneak attacks with punching daggers/daggers. I love the idea of taking a potion(mutagen) and just transforming into a monster!

@@ArcaneAgent Just to clarify. I personally like to keep the Roleplay in RPGs as relevant as possible while optimizing the remaining available space. Sometimes a respec can be useful to nudge the character in a more flavorful or powerful direction while keeping it within what that character's personality reasonably do.
I mostly what your videos so I can learn how to build characters. The game mechanics are so daunting at the beginning that I wouldn't even know where to beginning. I plan to play the game in the future and this is all part of my research to get into the mind space of how to make builds.
Actually I have another video idea. A general video on either build making or the mechanics that you need to know to make good builds. Something that is general and can work as a way to get people in the right head space at the time of choosing what to do when each of their characters levels up. When or if to multiclass or what feats to avoid. What feats tend to be good. What weapons are good to specialize in. What are some of the trap feats? I hear for example the game has a lot of undead so some classes are much weaker because of the enemy types available during the campaign.
I think those are all amazing ideas and I'm going to steal them all
