Glenn has never killed a human being before. That’s just not who he is and he holds onto who he is. Sasha not killing Gabriel is them proving Gabriel wrong. They aren’t bad people. Meanwhile, the Alexandrian’s are are having a meeting talking about kicking rick out while he is out saving them by killing walkers by himself. I think this episode definitely showed who are group really is. and how they’ve been made to look like the crazy ones but are actually the ones to be looked up to

You guys saying Carol being the puppet master at this point in the story is super on-point. She with good but, not necessarily completely pure intentions have been manipulating the events so the outcome is the best for their group. She is a mastermind.

This is definitely a crazy episode, but a great one! Love the ending with Rick facing Morgan in a complete turnaround from the last time they met. Also, love the friendship between Daryl and Aaron.

Michonne reached for her sword to fight those walkers and then realized she didn't have it. At the meeting to kick Rick out she saw Rick bring that walker to the meeting and heard him say they got in. Then idiot Pete killed Reg, and yes, he stole her sword and used it. She went to hang it back up because she had told Rick just before that meeting that he didn't need that gun and she didn't need her sword there. I think she realized that nowhere is completely safe and that she absolutely needs that sword to deal with whatever threat shows up inside those walls .
I love that our group goes along with Carol playing the part of "susie homemaker". They play it out with her with no questions asked. In regards to Gabriel and Nicholas, I feel that everyone deserves a second chance. However, I also feel that mercy only extends so far as how much that person tries to actually find redemption. BTW did you catch that the survivor in the red poncho is a reference to Red Riding Hood? The guy was even set upon by Wolves.
@Daniel Tokunaga Sheez, I have watched this and all of the episodes many times and never once put it together about red poncho guy and the wolves being similar to Little Red Riding Hood. That ending was intense! I love the scene with Father Gabriel, Sasha and Maggie! I'm sure Gabriel didn't mean the things he said to Sasha, he was trying to get killed but let's hope that after Maggie showed mercy he's gonna have a change of heart!
Given the confusion that The Walking Dead presents in regards to timeline...keep this in mind because as of this current episode (season 5 finale) only 1 year 1/2 has gone by. A lot of this show moves very slow despite feeling like a lot of time has gone by with the exceptions being obvious time jumps
I think this episode is just suspenseful because of how they switch back and forth. My dad was having the same opinion about Gabe, " Kill him" lol however for me what he was doing was really the similar to what Sasha was doing they were just going about it in a different way. Sasha blaming it on the walkers, and him blaming it on the people. When both are really conflicted and mad at themselves. mental breakdowns with no therapist.
But Daryl being ready to sacrifice himself In order for Aaron to have a chance to get out safely ::tears:: He's come a long ways from season 1. While under Merle's influence, I don't think he would've gone out of his way for someone he doesn't know that well. And a gay guy at that? Our Daryl has grown up :)
I love how when Daryl has dinner with Aaron and Eric and Aaron brings it up in the garage, Daryl's all, (paraphrasing) "Doesn't matter to me." That kind of thing doesn't matter anymore. Not in this world. Now would they have been friends in the old world? Nope. But one thing Daryl does well is read people, and he knows Aaron is good.
I believe Carol went to Pete because she never got to do that to Ed!! Because she wasn’t as strong before to do it so now she knows she’s stronger than a weak man that beats women so she wanted to do that to her husband but couldn’t so she used Pete to get that feeling!!!
Steve and Lacey, yall did am amazing job of breaking down the episode, and your reactions were great, as always. The thing I would add may not be as germain to the plot line, but it's cool anyway. That is the three Amigos; Abe, Eugene and Rosita. I Ioved Rosita waking Eugene up and initiating that awkward reconciliation between the two. That needed to happen. Buddies making up. So cool.
Such an intense episode. So happy you are discussing Caryl and what she is doing. She has more experience with reading people and changing her demeanor to control the situation because of her past abuse. Also enjoyed your understanding of not being able to always be the strong one. You can only stay strong for so long before you need to back away or break.
Not going into details on my thoughts, but I think "sweetest" Carol is probably her mimiccing some people from her past: "friendly neighbors", "understanding social workers", even judges who, in the end, "understand" what you're feeling because they just don't want to see - seeing would be too much hassle, paperwork, emotional involvement, tough decisions and, well, reality. So, I think "sweet" Carol is "let's all pretend everything is alright" because that's what we all want to do. Only Carol isn't really part of "we", she's just telling them the one thing they will unquestionably accept.
The Boogie Man checks under his bed to see if Carol is there. She tries to hide how scary she has become... After seeing Morgan with a staff, you realize EVERYONE should have a spear or polearm weapon. They are so friggin useful.
Michonne didnt have a sword and it was used to kill herschel...michonne didnt have her sword and it was used to kill reg. So I feel like she wants to keep it on her because of that.
You guys are awesome! Yeah you guys are right that Father Gabriel had issues accepting and moving on from what he did to his congregation, so he spoke I'll of Rick's group because that's how he feels about himself. What put him overboard tho was he went outside the gates and told Spencer, "The protection of God is all I need." He went out there and raised his hands up when the Walker was coming at him because he wanted to believe that God would save him again. When he realized that nothing was gonna prevent the Walker from killing him, it broke him because he feels that God has fully abandoned him for his sins. He was a priest who lost God's love and protection. That has been his struggle to accept that God has abandoned him
My favorite part of this episode was Sasha. Finally seeing her calm down and be at peace with what happened. Through this whole season she really just keeps getting knocked down, but by the end she is finally starting to get back up
I love how they finally see where Rick is coming from . Every time they let some bad guy go, they always came back and kill one of their own. If D. Had let Rick kill that drunk yesterday , her husband would still be alive.
Great assessment on Carol. She’s very calculating. She was a riot to me with how she switched back and forth between home maker Carol and Rambo puppet master Carol lol. Also her “make sure you return my dish clean when you’re done” always makes me laugh
I always thought Morgan honked that horn to tell the other Wolves where they could find there friends, showing that he knew there was a pack of them around.
Another STELLAR reaction vid you guys!! You've got the right formula down! Your reactions to Reggie's death was 100% my family back then. It's so much fun watching with you guys. Till next time, be well. ♡♡
“The weirdest, exciting, episode that I’ve seen.” Not to worry Steve you have four and a half more seasons of even better! To think...you didn’t even want to watch this show.
I agree with y'all completely about Carol!! She sees what needs to be done and she gets it done, whether by doing it herself or by prompting someone else to do it with her encouragement and her ability to easily get into their head. I adore Carol. I just do. And of course Rick, Daryl, Glen, And definitely Michonne. Rick trusts her and even told her that he was afraid that she would talk him out of having the guns. He told her "you could have". I just love our family!! lol, they all love each other and even when they don't agree they always have each other's backs. That's a family I would like to be a part of ( as Deanna said). Awesome reaction as always. Love y'all ( as always )
Let's do it! Hopefully you're both feeling better. "Everything gets a return". Including Morgan, thank God. Lennie James is another phenomenal actor. "All life is precious". When did Morgan get all Kung Fu-ed? Those wolves are regretting trying to take his oatmeal now, huh? So, the PTSD has come full circle for my boy, Rick. "I'm still there" (train car). But I think we all knew where Pete was headed. I'm sorry Reg had to die like that, but what great writing. Deanna saw it go down; "Rick, do it". That's all she had to say. The scene between Pete and Carol was awesome, too. "Clean that dish"! Lacey already knew! "Where's hubby at?" Nice. Lots went down for the finale. They need to quit trying to fake me out, Daryl's gonna be the man that he is and do something brave and sacrifice himself! Noooooooo. Remember Lacey, you saw a connection between the horse and Daryl. In the wolf trap, Daryl talks about wanting to look for people because it keeps him occupied and it's more normal than Alexandria. "This still feels like me". Loved your reactions to the finale, especially since you weren't feeling great! All right, on to season 6! 🧟🤠🤗
This Morgan we're seeing now with his stick certainly isn't the Morgan that Rick, Michonne and Carl left in their hometown. The Morgan who tried to kill Rick and just had to Clear!! If I were Rick, I'd be completely blown away to look up and see Morgan standing with Daryl and Aaron within the walls of Alexandria!! Totally unexpected!! !And there stands Rick with that coat , covered from head to toe with blood right after he shot a man in the head at close range!! lol, that's a hell of a thing to walk up on. For me, I felt this twisted sense of complete satisfaction to hear Deanna say "Rick......do it!!" and to see Rick immediately kill Pete without a moment's hesitation. Wonder how those people in Alexandria that just wanted Rick gone will feel about him now!!??
Them forgiving Father Gabriel and praying with him was a good thing for Maggie and Sasha. Maggie was losing her faith, Maggie also forgave Tara for being on the Governor's side...Tyrese told Sasha to forgive and those people that influenced them the most such as Tyrese, Glenn, Hershel, Beth, people who spite of all that happened kept their humanity and I believe it rubbed off on them and they needed this with father Gabriel to keep humanity and to change for the better, even for him, to finally admit his wrong doings and why he took it out on others to change who he is as a person too and he realized he was wrong about our group.
Carol has thousands faces. Her past with her husband striped her identity long ago and she truly died the day she saw Sofia scuffle out of the barn as a Walker. She managed to rid her visible scars, adopt many traits from her new founded family and became a non verbal take no s@@t legend. PS. When I say visible, it's the PTSD from physical abuse at the hands of her late husband. She doesn't show fear, doesn't brace for the unexpected and doesn't rely on anyone for comfort, etc. .
So, my question for Duo is about Sasha. She has literally lost everyone she loved, and exept for the group would be alone. In fact she is in crazy land right now, laying down with dead walkers. What do you guys see going foward for her? Can she recover? Will she learn to lean on her new family for support, or keep being lost?
The power of Carol compels you! Love this shit, I like how they got back to Rick being the focus att the end of s5. His Arch has been crazy, and he's flawed and fucked up in the head after everything, and it just shows so well. the very end with Morgan looking at Rick after he puts down Pete. Just awesome,
The roles have reversed , rick saw Morgan when he was in clear mode going crazy and now Morgan’s normal and he sees rick when he’s just murdered someone all bloody 😂
Gabriel definitely told Deanna all that junk cause he hoped someone from the group would kill him. He wanted to commit suicide but couldn't by himself. Great episode! Reactions where great too! I love watching you guys reactions then commits afterwards.
I think Carol just had the intuition, and experience, that people like Ed and Porch Dick will NEVER stop therefore something was bound to happen because of him (porch Dick.) And don't forge Porch Dick also saw Rick visiting Blondie. Also, don't know if you saw the deleted scenes way back when Merle rejoined the group in the prison, but she threatened to slit his throat if he messed with Daryl. She has been coming in to her true self for some time now. Long live Queen Carol! Whoot!
I deleted my original comments about Glenn as someone put spoilers on there. Hopefully Steve and Lacey didn't see that. Anyway love the reactions, can't wait for you to start next season.
This is where Rick differs from the Governor. He listens to his family. But it's beautiful that Michonne helps him to bounce back. isn't it ;). Yes, these people are flawed and they are like little kids but they CAN help them become stronger and help them survive. You were really harsh on Gabriel but imagine how bad it would be if you lost all faith. In ANYTHING or ANYONE. Bizarre Ending huh ;) ?!
Gabriel telling Deanna that Rick and fam were dangerous I feel like sparing him was them proving him wrong cause if Sasha killed him right then and there then that would have made his point 100% right but he's gonna have to really prove his worth next season and redeem himself somehow
Sticking to the end, hearing your thoughts on this big finale, I've formed my own opinion about the judgement you guys have of this show. Knowing what I know of what is to come, and knowing what you guys think is coming, I can only have one conclusion. I love you guys! Stay amazing.
This was the other episode I was waiting and hoping to see if you wld give us your raw reaction after it all. I was screaming at the tv when I watched this episode. Glad to hear your dialogue after but honestly expected you guys to be a little more hyped up. Only because so far y'all have had the same emotions as I with the other major moments in past episodes. Love y'all keep up the good work
Rick was a cop so he doesn't hesitate because that was his job and training to kill the people that will endanger everyone else and with no hesitation and everyone else are just ordinary people except Darryl and Carol and Michonne they can kill.
So, do you think Carol went to Pete to goad him into doing something that would expose him to the community in Alexandria...and I typed this right as Lacey was making that very point.
Also when I first watched this episode at the end Reg's death was unexpected caused I really liked his character Pete was definitely a high risk and threat to Alexandria and Deanna was not gonna stand for it and let him get away scott free and she understands what Rick said was right
I am so THRILLED that you guys talked about Caril! Of all the ones I have watched, everyone misses Carol! YES< She poked the bear (Pete). She KNOWS what Pete is. She KNOWS all these characters. And she knew that time was short. She knew Deanna needed to see the truth, BEFORE she tried to kick Rick out. So she angered Pete so he would show his true colors. Deanna wasn't going to see it, until it hits HER! Its a shame her husband died in the process. I LOVE CAROL! She has been my fav from the start. AAnd many simply do not get her. Many say that exact statement outloud. And many don't like her, because they don't understand her. I think she is such an amazing character! And can you imageine how hard it is, to keep it together in their position. Society is gone! Resources scarce. And everyone losing their minds! This show does such a great job of showing this stuff. I'm not so sure it would be so successful in real life. But you never know! LOL I gotsoexcited over your conversation about Carol, that I commented before I finishedthevideo.lol Lacey, I agree about Michonne and Rick! Think about what her told her about the guns.He didn't tell her because he was afraid she would talk him out of it. And then he said "You could have". He respects her. She has his ear for sure. He sees how good she is. And how wise she is. And AGAIN you guys!, You make statements that you have no idea just how right you are! Sometimes I wish I could remember to come back and make a comment after the fact. But I will just say it here.lol Love watching you guys
This was a great episode. Rick is desperate for the people of Alexandria to understand what the world is really like now. They may be afraid of him now, but I think Rick is their best hope to survive whatever may happen in the future. I loved the scene with Daryl and Aaron in the car. #Queation: What do you think about Daryl wanting to make a break for it first in hopes of giving Aaron a better chance of making it...in essence, willing to die for Aaron?
I get your frustration about Glenn and Maggie showing mercy to Father Gabriel and Nicholas, especially when I really wanted both to just drop off the face of the earth myself. But think back to what you have seen so far. Do you remember seeing Glenn kill anyone? I don't. What the past two seasons have shown us was a very clear comparison of what this world has done to both Rick and Glenn. Both were good people with big hearts. Glenn was a meek pizza boy who had to become strong real quick if he was going to survive. And he did. Rick was a friendly sherriffs deputy who lived his life loving his family and helping others. Fast forward to now: Rick is a blood-covered savage who just put a bullet in someone's head without a second thought and Glenn is sparing the life of a guy who tried to kill him. The difference is clear: Rick has it in himself to kill, and Glenn does not.
Love the reactions! But dang you guys can be harsh to characters 😂. Glenn forgiving Nicholas and Gabriel, Maggie, and Sasha praying at the end was beautiful.
I thought this was a great episode when I first saw it, yeah there was a lot of things going on but still great! episode, I get what you're saying Steve, but I don't think Carol is playing the Puppet Master, She just wants the group to be safe! and Taunted Pete was just letting him know! you're beating days on women are over! Carol is the Best.😊
I think this may have actually been the angriest face ive ever seen Steve make. I know he's been more upset but the way he grit his teeth in this one just looked rough lol
Carol's is not out for a back up plan. Carol prefers to just make things happen, get it done and over with, because if not it's going to be a bigger problem later. She made that Pete situation happen. I also get that without that happening, Maybe Deanna ends up disagreeing with Rick. So in Carol's eyes she's making the only power play that has the highest chance of stopping them from trying to kick out Rick. So I 100% get her reasoning behind it. I just dislike all the manipulation by Carol up to this point. That said, she's RIGHT about most of what she says. Hence when they got to Alexandria she told Rick 'Even though you were wrong, you were still right'. So I love Carol for being able to see things others typically can't see. However, what's missed is that I think Michonne sees EVERYTHING Carol sees, but Michonne chooses to not MAKE anything happen. Whereas Carol has the preemptive strategy. Let's make something happen, get it over and done with so we can move on. I am more on board with Michonne's strategy. Let's be PREPARED for all the possibilities of what we know might happen, but let's not MAKE it happen. Let's be prepared do to do whatever we have to do. If we need to defend ourselves, we know we can, because we know they can't defend themselves.
Rick and Morgan’s roles were reversed at the end b/c the last time they saw each other Morgan was crazy and Rick was friendly and didn’t have a crazy murderous look.

Yea she definitely manipulated Rick into that conflict with Pete. It honestly reminds me of how Lori manipulated him into conflict with Shane.

I believe Carol went to Pete because she never got to do that to Ed!! Because she wasn’t as strong before to do it so now she knows she’s stronger than a weak man that beats women so she wanted to do that to her husband but couldn’t so she used Pete to get that feeling!!!
Exactly and she was also trying to protect Jessie and the kids.
“Protecting Jessie’s kids....” and yet lol
Exactly! Comments about her being a puppet master is absolute nonsense!
Knifes and guns don't kill people, only people kill people. The show shows us people are much worse than zombies
Walkers not zombies
Through this whole season she really just keeps getting knocked down, but by the end she is finally starting to get back up
All of these episodes names come from Dale's season one speach. Another Easter egg call back
Yep miss Dale
@@tonymatrisin4328 RIP ):
I love how they finally see where Rick is coming from . Every time they let some bad guy go, they always came back and kill one of their own. If D. Had let Rick kill that drunk yesterday , her husband would still be alive.
Great assessment on Carol. She’s very calculating. She was a riot to me with how she switched back and forth between home maker Carol and Rambo puppet master Carol lol. Also her “make sure you return my dish clean when you’re done” always makes me laugh
Same here.
OMG the season 6 is here. Enjoy so much, is a great great season
I always thought Morgan honked that horn to tell the other Wolves where they could find there friends, showing that he knew there was a pack of them around.
CAROL:Best character development
Fun fact Soniqua Martin Green (Sasha) was like 8 months pregnant in this episode! Great reaction guys!❤
Another STELLAR reaction vid you guys!! You've got the right formula down!
Your reactions to Reggie's death was 100% my family back then. It's so much fun watching with you guys. Till next time, be well. ♡♡
carol singlehandedly putsching alexandria
Loved watching along with you guys this season, its one of my favorites.
Carol set up the whole thing to get the people to see Rick is actually needed there.
Bloody Face Rick..lol
Steve looked so disgusted that Glenn didn’t kill Nicholas right there 😆
'Tito'
Nicole Lush 😆
Carol has thousands faces. Her past with her husband striped her identity long ago and she truly died the day she saw Sofia scuffle out of the barn as a Walker. She managed to rid her visible scars, adopt many traits from her new founded family and became a non verbal take no s@@t legend. PS. When I say visible, it's the PTSD from physical abuse at the hands of her late husband. She doesn't show fear, doesn't brace for the unexpected and doesn't rely on anyone for comfort, etc. .
I see similarities between Carol and Arya Stark...
FG was depressed, deflecting what he did to his people on Sasha and the group. He felt he didn't deserve to have peace.
No, Morgan honked the horn to see if any walkers were nearby and if so he’d kill them, he was trying to keep them safe, that’s who Morgan is now
So, my question for Duo is about Sasha. She has literally lost everyone she loved, and exept for the group would be alone. In fact she is in crazy land right now, laying down with dead walkers. What do you guys see going foward for her? Can she recover? Will she learn to lean on her new family for support, or keep being lost?
Good question
The power of Carol compels you!
Love this shit, I like how they got back to Rick being the focus att the end of s5. His Arch has been crazy, and he's flawed and fucked up in the head after everything, and it just shows so well. the very end with Morgan looking at Rick after he puts down Pete. Just awesome,
I love u guys! I cant believe we r in S5, it seemed like yesterday when u began this journey
The roles have reversed , rick saw Morgan when he was in clear mode going crazy and now Morgan’s normal and he sees rick when he’s just murdered someone all bloody 😂
"well he has really good f****** timing." Made me laugh out loud so much I had to stop the video for a minute.
Gabriel definitely told Deanna all that junk cause he hoped someone from the group would kill him. He wanted to commit suicide but couldn't by himself.
Great episode! Reactions where great too! I love watching you guys reactions then commits afterwards.
looks like morgan finally cleared
I think Carol just had the intuition, and experience, that people like Ed and Porch Dick will NEVER stop therefore something was bound to happen because of him (porch Dick.) And don't forge Porch Dick also saw Rick visiting Blondie.
Also, don't know if you saw the deleted scenes way back when Merle rejoined the group in the prison, but she threatened to slit his throat if he messed with Daryl. She has been coming in to her true self for some time now. Long live Queen Carol! Whoot!
Nice react
P.S. from Russia with best wishes
Well michonne is observant so she knows things
“The One Where Rick Runs Down a Street and Turns Day into Night”
Rick looking at Deanna like "YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENS BITCH? MAY I NOW?!" xD
Great video much love from Croatia
We’re on to my fav season sunshine! 😂
I deleted my original comments about Glenn as someone put spoilers on there. Hopefully Steve and Lacey didn't see that.
Anyway love the reactions, can't wait for you to start next season.
Thank you. Some people unfortunately ruin it for the rest. ❤️
Thanks for taking care of that!
This is where Rick differs from the Governor. He listens to his family.
But it's beautiful that Michonne helps him to bounce back. isn't it ;).
Yes, these people are flawed and they are like little kids
but they CAN help them become stronger and help them survive.
Great reaction like always, greetings from Buenos Aires. 🥰
pensé que era el único argentino que miraba estas reacciones (?
@@sensacionsombria5125 jajajaj, nooo, comento raramente pero me encanta este canal y a nadie que conozco le gusta twd así que acá me ves, ah
Aguante Argentina 💪
re si, aguante Argentina viejitas
I just realised there was so much dale in Glenn throughout the whole show
Wow Michone is absolutely stunning when she's clean 😂😂.
"How is it night?!?" 😂🤣
5:05 😂😂😂 (wrong person)
This was the other episode I was waiting and hoping to see if you wld give us your raw reaction after it all. I was screaming at the tv when I watched this episode. Glad to hear your dialogue after but honestly expected you guys to be a little more hyped up. Only because so far y'all have had the same emotions as I with the other major moments in past episodes. Love y'all keep up the good work
Rick was a cop so he doesn't hesitate because that was his job and
training to kill the people that will endanger everyone else and with no
hesitation and everyone else are just ordinary people except Darryl and Carol and Michonne they can kill.
I wonder where the children are when all this going down, how would have they reacted to those last violent scenes, would Karl say oh dad not again
You mean Carl with a C
@@lynncantrell5502 Rick always pronounce it with a letter k when he's worried
So, do you think Carol went to Pete to goad him into doing something that would expose him to the community in Alexandria...and I typed this right as Lacey was making that very point.
Soooo much happened in this episode! Wow.
This was probably my favourite season concluder!
I just ❤ me some Abraham
Great vid as usual LACEY & steve 😉
This was a great episode. Rick is desperate for the people of Alexandria to understand what the world is really like now. They may be afraid of him now, but I think Rick is their best hope to survive whatever may happen in the future.
I loved the scene with Daryl and Aaron in the car.
#Queation: What do you think about Daryl wanting to make a break for it first in hopes of giving Aaron a better chance of making it...in essence, willing to die for Aaron?
Spoiler Alert!!! It's Lacey and Steve. 💚
But if they killed Gabriel of his redeeming in season 6 would be pointless
Love the reactions! But dang you guys can be harsh to characters 😂. Glenn forgiving Nicholas and Gabriel, Maggie, and Sasha praying at the end was beautiful.
Del Arno Foods lol
I thought this was a great episode when I first saw it, yeah there was a lot of things going on but still great! episode, I get what you're saying Steve, but I don't think Carol is playing the Puppet Master,
She just wants the group to be safe! and Taunted Pete was just letting him know! you're beating days on women are over!
Season 6 is SOOO GOOD
Great finale! Rick, do it! No second guesses and brains all over, by the way, Hey Morgan, long time no see! See you...until 6/1!!!
