As an Aussie, I can tell you that this track was used in the late 80's for a TV ad for life savers Australia. Like your BayWatch. Oh, and BTW we had them first. WAY first.
Noiseworks song...Little bit More.. underrated, good enough to be released as a Single. Also 2 B-side songs that didn't make any of their albums...5 more Days and Walk with me..👍
Can you believe that almost the entire world missed out on Noiseworks? We were blessed down here. Jon Stevens wrote an amazing tribute song to his mother after her death from cancer that Noiseworks released. Called RIP Millie. A real showcase of his vocal range and a real tearjerker too.
Gotta be the best Judas I've ever heard. Mind you, that whole cast, the 1992 cast, were brilliant. I'm pretty sure I've killed 2cds with the soundtrack from it
There’s also great songs from their first self titled album. Was very successful. Eg ‘Burning Feeling’, ‘Take Me Back’ and ‘ No Lies’ which was the first single off that . Kez 🇦🇺😀
Wow love the reaction from you both the band Noiseworks . Touch the song is brilliantly written how you both had totally enjoyed yourselves dancing away in your chairs. Reach out and touch somebody we all need too do . Other songs Take me back too You and No Lie’s must do also a reaction theses little Gems from our Aussie legends . Gee missing the 80s and 90 s music .
Was there the day/night they did the film clip, as it was just down the road from were I lived, Kiama, New south Wales....... a place called Bombo headland.
Noiseworks were an Australian hard rock band formed in Sydney in 1986 with bass guitarist Steve Balbi, guitarist Stuart Fraser, drummer Kevin Nicol, keyboardist Justin Stanley and lead vocalist Jon Stevens. They had four Australian Top 10 albums, Noiseworks, Touch, Love Versus Money and Greatest Hits. Jon Stevens also fronted INXS for a time when INXS Regrouped after the death of Michael Hutchence. He also had/has a successful solo career which includes playing the role of Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar.
@@ellefitzpatrick6339 I have a soft spot for JD cause he is Canadian, as am I, but I always came away with the impression that he just wasn't the right fit and couldn't gel with Andrew Farriss from a songwriting standpoint. It's why they moved on from him and started working with Ciaran Gribbin. But at the end of the day, Jon Stevens was probably the best fit. He is from NZ/Australia and around the same age. He was friends with Michael and the band prior to joining, but it was unfortunate that the band was moving too slowly to create new material for his liking. It is a welcome surprise that he is working with Andrew these days on their respective solo work.
I got excited because I saw the title 'Touch' but then I realised it wasn't the song I thought. Great track though, very pleasantly surprised. Check out Stan Bush - Touch - its also 80s 🤘
❤️you noticed the kick. Every drummer had their fill up. I’m slightly deaf in my left ear. Simple tight Ozzy rock drumming. Most gigs I was side stage. Drummers kinda hang out.
Noiseworks was a part of the soundtrack of my life... the music gets me every time... plus Jon is ohhhh so easy on the eyes... put it this way, I wouldn't kick him outta bed for fartin'... just sayin'... ;))
Australian rock in the 80s stayed very much blue collar and unpretentious. The whole LA 'hair band' thing never really caught on with our own bands. If anything Aussie bands were avid wearers of mullets rather than big teased up hair.
Both Crowded House and Noiseworks were formed in Australia during the mid 80s by kiwis who emigrated to Australia. Crowded House went onto worldwide fame, but Noiseworks is still a huge draw in Australia. Noiseworks released three great albums and have just reformed with a fourth new album in 2022 ! Check out "Hot Chilli Women" its one of their high energy hits !
Umm no Noiseworks is Australian band. it formed in Australia the only one that’s was Kiwi/ Australian in the Band was Jon Stevens.. he holds both citizenships.. 🧐🙄🤷♀️🇦🇺
Noisework es una de mis bandas favoritas y muchas gracias por la reacción 🎸🔥😎👍
Fine pop-rock anthem. Nothin' but respect here.
Wicked song.. that middle 8 gives me chills, sooooo lush
greetings from Electronic80s, Sydney, Australia

My favourite Noiseworks song. The intro gives me tingles every time.
My Favourite Song.

banger of a guitar solo too 5:45
You guys do so many Aussie classics. Fuck yeah!

Jon Stevens is sooo talented. His performance in the Musical Jesus Christ Superstar was incredible. He’s still amazing today.
Gotta be the best Judas I've ever heard. Mind you, that whole cast, the 1992 cast, were brilliant. I'm pretty sure I've killed 2cds with the soundtrack from it
Great Aussie Band 'Noiseworks' and have got Back together and are Touring Australia right now.
RIP Stuart Fraser. First saw him on TV as the 14/15 year old lead guitarist for Aussie hard rock band Blackfeather.
One of the best bands i've seen live. When Jon came out during the chorus and started grabbing our hands was unreal. Great band and really underated
Been dying for someone to react to these Aussie rockers.
Thatsingereacts did the other day

Noise work's been another Australia's big band!!!!!
I reached out! You guys are awesome! You listen to a band from Aus called MISEX The song Blue Day xo
Was there the day/night they did the film clip, as it was just down the road from were I lived, Kiama, New south Wales....... a place called Bombo headland.
I'm an Aussie from Adelaide. Seen these guys multiple times. Just great melodic rock.
Hard working aussie band that deserved more success. Jon Stevens voice kills.
Don't know if you guys know this but you do already your a great team and always make me feel better
I love this song a lot !
Touch by Noiseworks was Australia's contribution to Live Aid way back in 1985. A proud day for an Aussie living in London
He's still touring one of my favourite Aussie band
what a loss Stuart Fraser..rip

INXS should have stuck with Jon Stevens if they were going to continue as a band after Michael's passing.
@@methos3135 they did ok with JD Fortune but I guess there comes a time when you get sick of touring and the partying that goes along with it.

@@methos3135 I know. Jon is performing at my local pub in the next few weeks. Looking forward to seeing him again. :)

Both great songs.
If you like Aussie rock groups get on to Wolfmother, Wolf Hunterz
Another good powerhouse song to uplift the downtrodden spirit is AIN'T NO SECOND PRIZE by Jimmy Barnes.
Please play No lies

🗣🤘 Must Be the Part Scottish Heritage the same as Jimmy Barnes that gives their Voices Powerful Tones hey !! 👍🏻🤘
you have to listen to TAKE ME BACK by Noiseworks :)
I always thought that the Kings of Leon had a Jon Stevens Noiseworks thing happening.
This song screams 80's

Oh, gods, were they ever! They probably single handedly kept the mullet in fashion for a long as it was.
Three decades later and their song "Welcome to the World" seems just a relevant today as it ever has.
...great song....
I have an acoustic version of this that Jon recorded and it's a killer. :)
I've never heard this sing acoustic. But, thinking about it, it would be brilliant
Us Aussie's claimed them
Orsum track....fan rippin tastic.
New Zealand band but we Aussie's claimed them
love your reactions just wish you would react to some aussie music that wasnt 30 or 40 years ago
