Your attempts at making Rishi seem down to earth and connected to everyday people is utterly laughable. He’s not as bad as Liz Truss but still, just embarrassing.
Well... better than current policy I suppose, shrinking the economy? Much smaller and there'll only be upwards left at all. Telling us the bleeding obvious, as if it's a novel Conservative idea, is a bit rich. coming from the Party in government that got us in this mess in the first place!
It requires a particular level of government incompetence and myopia to close an armament factory at a time of war. It takes a special level of management incompetence to make a loss in similar circumstances. One would think that government would have the foresight to realise that manufacturing skills even in this industry need to be preserved. The country will not be getting richer from selling imported DIY products to each other.
Time is running out for this government. The strike action by public sector workers will soon trigger similar action in other private industries. We are heading toward the expected effective general strike. Buying equipment for the NHS is pointless without the skilled staff to operate it. The new ambulances will be left parked for want of crews. A fire service strike will put many industries out if action, as a result of safety and insurance concerns. It is depressing that the country that invented the railways is now dependent of a foreign owned business to build trains to run on UK railways. One must hope that some of the design work is being done in the UK. The profits will leak out of the UK economy and be exported. That is what foreign investment means. Expecting the strike threat to disappear if inflation is reduced is naive. Inflation represents a first differential, do even if inflation comes down, the damage will already have been done, as prices will remain at their new elevated value. The government's only bright spot, is that labour have yet to suggest any solutions to the problems in the near future, and seem reduced to snipping at the government. That said, those making windfall profits from the current situation should be subject to a windfall tax, not only oil and gas producers, but also private healthcare. Conservative MPS would be mistaken if they think this government has until the next election to get things right. Without a break through policy, this government has a few months at best.
Great Monologue but in truth this Consocialist Government have Gaslighted the Electorate for years. But I do applauded you for trying, Politicians are working with Globalists now, basically we are fighting them for our given rights Freedom/Sovereignty/Liberties.
The government is doing its best to negate my prophecy of an early general election, followed by a landslide Labour victory. It is possible, that by settling so many of the labour disputes, it has managed to avoid the expected vote of no confidence that would have triggered an early general election, though the threat has only receded, not gone away entirely. I take no pleasures in predicting a landslide Labour party victory at the next general election, as there is little evidence that Labour have any better ideas of solving the countries woes. The liberal party is almost completely irrelevant, as it's main policy is misguided appeasement of the EU. A policy that would quickly make the UK a vassal state of the EU. The conservative party has recently been shown to be riddled with self serving MPs, who hide their vested self interest agenda behind the fact that they have not broken any rules in their sleazy behaviour, Something their constituent will no doubt disagree with at the next general election, further increasing the resulting Labour majority. Do these incompetent conservative MPs really think they are worth £10,000 per week? There is an old adage, that if you stuck in a hole, it is advisable to stop digging. Clearly this wise advice has escaped the current government. They prefers to believe the new economic of a debt based economy, rather than accept that the UK needs to be profitable, and as self sufficient as possible in all aspects of industry and production. We cannot increase the wealth of the country by building houses, or by selling expensive imports to each other. The government cannot save money at the expense of our natural environment and wildlife. The government was repeatedly warned of the folly of the HS2 project, and how it would become an expensive white elephant, costing far more than predicted and producing far less in return. It was warned of the folly of allowing foreign ownership of our critical industries, utilities and infrastructure, yet it continues with these policies. It continues to sign contracts that give private companies the profits and leave the tax payers to fund any losses. It continues to allow private health care companies to make huge profits at the expense of our NHS. It make inefficient changes to the tax system, to purportedly keep skilled doctors in the profession, where in practice these are simply thinly disguised tax cuts for the richest 1%, or less, of the population. So while this government may have narrowly avoided being thrown out of office early, it can still look forward to a significant time as a minority opposition party following the next general election.
@@nigeljohnson9820I fail to see that, it's possible to have a coalition of sorts maybe the new and tories being a minority government is also possible besides the economy needs drastically reformed to serve the people and not the other way just like Hjalmer Shacht a German economist who albeit had to contend with problems of the nsdap still managed to get Germany thriving in 4 years.
@@Peacefulnessxxx the problems of the German economy are tiny compared to those of the UK. The UK has lost control of its means of production, which has mostly fallen into foreign control. Germany still makes things, the UK economy seems to be virtual, based on services and creative accounting. We measure our success by how many expensive imports we sell to each other and how many houses we build. The UK government rejoices in foreign investment, yet all foreign investors expect to take out far more than they put in, by definition. The next general election will be lost by the conservatives, it will not be won by labour. That is to say the electorate will be rejecting the existing government, not choosing the labour alternative. I suspect instinctively the electorate are not expecting anything better or new from labour, they just want to escape the conservative sleaze and economic mismanagement. Some of this is driven by the media, which now has a clear left wing agenda,. It's as if the media needs a news story of a refreshing new government. We have seventy years of flip flopping between the parties, with each just managing decline, as the UK edges a little closer to a third world economy. I suspect that part of the problem is that the UK liberal elite instinctively boke at the idea of treating anything foreign as the enemy, it is seen as somehow racist, maybe a legacy of our colonial past. Our government talks about our friends in Europe, but that fails to recognise how the economic world is really organised. We cannot measure our economic success by how much we increase the wealth of foreign investors, or multinational companies. The technological successes of our competitors are not ours, even if they are based on the ingenuity of our scientists and engineers.

Again the government is celebrating foreign investment in the UK there must be a question mark on who's economy it is trying to grow, that of the UK or the country of origin of the investor. The Hitachi world class factory is welcome, but why aren't there any similar UK owned firms? The problem with foreign investment, is that it expects to take out more than it puts in. That is wealth that will be exported from the UK. It is another wealth and technology creator who's continued existence in the UK is in foreign hands it is depressing that a country that invented the railways and the train, is now dependent on foreign investment to run the industry. There is good news that the UK battery company Britishvolt is to be rescued from receivership, but it is disappointing that it takes an Australian firm to recognise the potential of UK engineering, making batteries for cars in the UK. Aren't there any British engineering entrepreneurs left in the UK? The industrial revolution was driven by British scientists, engineers and designers, and the tich men of foresight that supported them. It is good that the UK will have a car battery production industry, it's unfortunate that it's continued success will be dependent on a foreign company, all be it a friendly Australian one. They like, all foreign investors, will expect a return on their investment, and will no doubt export the profits back to Australia, along with any inventions and intellectual property rights. This will be good for the Australian economy, and bad for the UK.
If Tories really supported workers and children then they would support union's and be at the table negotiating. Teachers are workers, Tories don't realise that fact and if teachers are struggling financially and mentally then that would affect the level of education they are able to give, all they want is enough money to live with dignity and better working conditions. Every working person understands the struggles, most of us have suffered stagnating wages for over a decade and now many workers have to choose between paying bills or eating, its no wonder why foodbank use has soared.
