    Here is the history for the PEPSI SIGN. The CEO from coca-cola was living in the other side of the river and that sign was a joke from the PEPSI CEO to the coca-cola CEO at the time. However theey both left the companys and the SIGN REMAIN THERE. :) Nice video :)

    Thanks for the video! I hope Tan Tan is feeling better by now. Those rough construction patches! I guess DC isn't the only place with them. Also, why are man-holes always in the bike lane?! What is that tail-light you have on the ultra-light? Was it sensing deceleration and acting as a brake light?

    Thanks again for a wonderful video. I avoid those types of busy streets, and when I have practically no choice I just walk my bike down the sidewalk regardless of how long it might take, because I'm never in the mood to be hit by a car door or run over, just to have a nice ride that day😁
    Have you guys tried the Garmin Varia RTL515 (rear tail light with radar) or the RTC715 (rear tail light with camera and radar)? I have the 515 and its a god send to warn of what's passing you including other bicyclists. I'm not interested in the camera version though.

    Thanks for all your great videos! Does Tan Tan have a balance bike and / or a small training wheel bike? I recently purchased a Joystar BMX style 12” wheel ( with training wheels ) bike from Amazon for $ 130.00 as a gift for a friend. He says it’s of good quality, works well and his daughter loves to ride it ! Great value!

    I would like to suggest that you dump the backpack when riding a Brompton. That load should not be on the rider. It should be on the Brompton luggage block.

    • @BromptonFamilyTime
      @BromptonFamilyTime  Рік тому +6

      I love my backpack. It just allows me to have my hands free when we do our family rides. The block bags are nice for solo rides (according to Shoko).

      I prefer a back pack too. The main purpose of a folder is to pack it up and carry it onto another mode of transport or into your workplace or home, all the bags attached to it would make it heavy to carry and awkward.

    • @effyleven
      @effyleven Рік тому +1

      @c ss Your logic makes sense, except for one thing. So much of the Brompton luggage for the front carrier is equipped with a fully functioning shoulder strap, you do have the means to carry it when the bike cannot do that for you.
      Moreover, a backpack is a burden on you the WHOLE time, on or off the bike...and it makes the back sweaty, which a Brompton front bag doesn't, even when it is being carried on your shoulder.
      Also, WITHOUT taking the front bag off, the Brompton can be folded into supermarket trolly mode and rolled around like that. This means the bike can actually carry your load for you, even when it is folded.
      There is now such a large range of well-designed luggage for the Brompton's front carrier block, and the items can be clipped on and off so easily, to me it seems rather perverse to ignore all its advantages.
