What few times I tried to use the big rig pumps, either the nozzle didn't fit or if it did the fuel came out with so much volume and pressure that I got a shower. Unless I'm doing something wrong I'll fill up at the regular gas stations.
Sorry to hear that Rick, It sounds like your vehicle fuel filler neck isn’t set up for the truck lanes. I’ve filled up Ram and Ford trucks at the truck stops without an issue but not all vehicles are set up the same. -Steve
Great "how to" video! We have been using the card for almost 2 years and the savings quickly add up. With the Open Roads app, I don't go inside to get receipts and use the app to find the cheapest diesel. Happy trails!
Thanks Mike, We love the electronic receipts too and the Open Roads App is one of my main tools when planning our routes while saving money on fuel. Safe Travels -Steve

Yes I’m still using the TSD card, 2 days ago to be exact. I haven’t found anything better for fueling up when traveling with the 5th wheel. Sometimes you can find a small local station that works out to the same cost per gallon, but I would only fit if I disconnected the trailer.
@@MobileRVTechServices Excellent. It just makes sense from an ease of filling up standpoint. We try to plan our stops, but you never know how busy the "regular" pumps will be at a station and have had a couple stressful moments trying to get in and out. Thanks for the reply, we'll definitely put you down as the reference when applying.
@@StevieJai thank you. Using the truck lanes is much less stressful than trying to fit into the regular pumps when towing an RV. The safety factor when using this card at the truck lanes, is a huge bonus.
Tstops raise prices to compensate for the discounts given. If you go to a Mom and Pops Diesel stop you would get the same price as the discount. It's so the big boys don't run the mom pop out of business. They can still compete. I bet 100% your discount price is the same as that mom pop.
Moonshadow 1918, Sometimes you can hunt around to find diesel for a few cents less. For me the accessibility for large rigs and convenience near the highway out weigh going to another station to hope I fit. I tracked mom & pop stations vs the best TSD price on a 2,000 mile trip last year and there was 2 times I could’ve gotten fuel for 5 cents less, otherwise TSD saved the most money throughout the whole trip. -Steve
Not real keen on giving them my SSN. I'll call when I'm back from working overseas all the time. They'll already have my bank account number, they aren't getting my SSN as well.
Thanks very much for the demo. I tried to use mine today for the first time and was using the wrong number for control. Also, your auxiliary tank is exactly what I am looking for. Where did you get it and did you do the install yourself?
Your welcome Brogan, Did you find your correct control number to use with the card? I had ordered the fuel tank through Camping World since it was the best price at that time. Pilot/Flying J has the most expensive fuel on the interstate. Plus they pump biodiesel on the west coast which costs me about a 1mpg loss of mileage.

If the nozzle doesn't fit, you're driving a gasser. I've been filling up my F350 in the truck lane for 4 years and never got bathed in diesel.
EFS Is the best . No fee. No restrictions. Most truckers use it
