My grandfather used to play this for me when i was a little kid and we would dance around his living room! I still have the 45. Here's to you grandpa!!!
What agreat reminder to my childhood. My parents got this record. When my parants were out, I put this record on and cranked our stereo console to "11" and blasted our neighbors away. What a great tune.
I still have this album, it was handed down to me from my dad. We didn't have a t.v. yet in the early 60's, great music and brings a tear to my eye remembering my father!
Great song--reached top 10. Sadly, we lost Bob Moore today at 88. He was an amazing session musician. He played for Elvis, Patsy Cline, Roy Orbison & more.
Shit dis a cool song .I was looking for anotha song on my I pad til I got distracted and I pressed da wrong song by mistake. found it accidentally .neat song alrite .mean .I like it etc .
Mexico is the second country with the largest Latino population in the world. The United States is the country with the largest Latino population in the world. Mexico is the country with the largest American and Canadian population in the world. We are neighbors, and we get along well, and we Mexicans also love Canadians. "Build that wall."
( 9.904 vis)
Beautiful melody and the video is very appropriate, used to hear this on the radio when I was in my teens in the early sixties. I remembered the tune I had not heard in perhaps forty years and decided to look for it here, and fortunately found it.
My dad had this album and I enjoyed listening to it when I was a kid. Unfortunately an old girlfriend and I broke up and she took all the music my dad left me!
This hit from Bob Moore went to #7 on the Top 40 charts. It went to #1 on the new Adult Contemporary charts and to #22 on the Rhythm & Blues charts. It went to #1 in Australia & Germany. It would finish at #55 for the year, 1961.
@@RDK860 A good run. The Big Band Era wasn't completely gone yet. I always think about the Happy Days episode where with the popularity of folk music, Fonzie felt that it meant an end to Rock and Roll. Howard told him that he felt the same way when Bill Haley & Elvis came along.
@Reiner Haas. I've been looking for this tune for a long time and couldn't find it, finally, I found it via Google Voice. I love to remember the time this track played at the jukebox in the early '60s.
Hi, from northern Ireland UK ♥️🇬🇧♥️🤝 , 1st time i heard this,! Are family name is Moore,,!! I was born 23rd May 1968, just add , I have never heard of him before,,! 😕
Sure would be nice to visit Mexico if I didn't have to worry about getting decapitated by some drug cartel for no reason.Nice music though, luv it!Robert in Canada
I would love to see a movie of this song instead of just a slide show. With dancing men and women in colorful, billowing skirts! If a song encourages you to dance so much, you should see dancers! dt.: Von diesem Lied würde ich zu gerne einmal einen Film sehen, anstatt nur eine Diashow.

This great instrumental written by Boudleaux Bryant, who wrote almost all of the Everly Brothers hits .... and others. What a talent!

Sixty years ago, and still going strong! Bob Moore's Mexico is a classic instrumental.
I still have this album, it was handed down to me from my dad. We didn't have a t.v. yet in the early 60's, great music and brings a tear to my eye remembering my father!
love this instrumental. 1961 was great year for rock music including this by Bob Moore

I have been looking for this instrumental classic for years. Thanks for posting “Mexico” by Bob Moore And His Orchestra!
Every time I hear this song I just want to dance.
I want to eat an enchilada. It's almost the same thing.

this tune reminds of the late prize fighter back in the early 80's of Salvador Sanchez from Mexico, may God rest his soul in piece.
