    He has the bag on the back as well at the shoot on the side? Shouldn't it be one or the other?

    Looking to purchase one at my local HD. How does it work now after 9 months? and how many times do you think you must have used it by now? any other problems you experienced so far?

      The self propelled handles broke after just one year new ones where 26 dollars a PC. And very weak plastic. It should have been made in metal

    It looks like you assembled the rear grass catcher incorrectly. The small U shaped handle in the middle of the top frame, should be on the outside of the bag, so you can lift it up easily. Being inside the bag makes it useless, and likely causes the seal around the door not to fit properly either. FYI, from my experience, most people would not be using the rear bag and the side discharge at the same time...

      @This Is How We Do It DIY looking at other videos he is right. The metal handle needs to be outside of the top so it all seals up. And you uses either the side eject or close it and send the grass to the bag :) looks cool though just wonder how long it will last please do an update after a season of heavy use please!!

    I have a bunch of dewalt power tools, including chainsaw. So, this is perfect since I already have a mess of batteries that will work with it. My yard is too small to worry about a gas powered one.

    It’s a lawn mower. Couldn’t you have just shown it cutting GRASS? Not 12 inch high weeds and dead spots? No grass was actually mowed in this video….

    I have the same mower and really like it. I have to do my lawn in two days. Front yard then backyard.
    I was thinking about getting another set of batteries so I don’t have to wait 8 hours till batteries charge. Could I get a flex battery? Would that work? What kind?
    Or maybe a couple fast battery chargers then I’m waiting 2 hours for batteries to charge.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated I really want to keep going and finish the lawn.

      I would deff recommend getting a second pair of the same exact batteries it comes with, they are a bit pricy but worth it for sure! I have a huge front lawn and depending on how high the grass is, I could get front and half the back before a recharge, getting another set of these batteries has resolved this issue. Good luck! Thanks for the view!

      You can use the flexvolt batteries in these mowers, I'd buy those rather than those over-priced 20V only batteries, for these high drain tools you want the higher output batteries....I have a couple of 60V tools anyways, wish they would just sell the mower without their over-priced 20V batteries.

      Get 2 x 9amp hour or 2 x 12 amp hour flexvolt batteries.

    My sister had one of these, only used it 12 times and it stopped working. She took it 50 miles to service center, they said motor and control board were bad and since the also found a small notch on blade, it is due to hitting a rock. So basically a new shiny Dewalt mower is useless, even though it worked fine and then one day would not start. A super pebble killed everything. Had similar problem with my 20v trimmer, brand new and stopped one day, after run around with Dewalt, I fixed myself, finding two bad electrolytic caps on input of controller board. NEVER BUY DEWALT. They once were a good company, now owned by Black and decker. I will fix my sisters 20v mower myself. NEVER BUY DEWALT. The stuff will soon crap out and the Dewalt’s approach will be to make it your fault and you are told to throw out new mower that you paid $500 for. NEVER BUY DEWALT

      Dude,Black & Decker have owned Dewalt since 1960.
      That’s old news.

    • @DD-fj2ut
      @DD-fj2ut 6 місяців тому

      @@VanLHill You are correct, I did not know of that date. Not a fan of Black and Decker. In regards to the Dewalt mower, being an EE, I eventually replaced every electrical part in the mower, including the motor, to try and repair. Dewalt even sent me a second controller module to try, since it appeared the controller module I purchased was also bad. I called and talked to a Dewalt service technician who eventually admitted to me that this model Dewalt mower had a problem and this happened all the time. I called Dewalt customer service and told them what their technician said, and they agreed to take all the parts I purchased back and refund my money. They also agreed to take my Sisters receipt for the mower, scrap it in place, and refund her money. I was quite impressed with this, though the whole experience up to that point was very frustrating. So Dewalt made things right in the end.
