So the Current Conditions on the display takes its reading from the 1st wireless remote sensor and the Extra Sensor on the display gets its info from the 2nd remote sensor?
@@harleyhoracio1 Correct, you'll want to have the main temp/humidity sensor mounted outside in a protected shaded location for best results. But unsure if its because I readded them to the app or the referral to your tech support had to do something for each sensor id I added within your database/system to activate them to the app. In any event thanks. But also your app has some alert section bugs. The leak sensor notifiation remains on PER INSTANCE only no matter how many times I save it, recreate it, etc.. And across the notification sections of i.e. temp sensors the notification function is inconsistent. In general the PER INSTANCE is good for 1 time alert assuming the alert feature is ON. But then if Daily or Hourly is selected additionally that alert frequency should occur beyond the first detection. The backlight would drain batteries far to quickly to be useful. If Internet weather data and the use of our mobile app are not a concern, we do offer many non-color models that run off of batteries alone. Something like our 308-1417V2: www.lacrossetechnology.com/products/308-1417v2 -- 327-1417BW: www.lacrossetechnology.com/products/327-1417bw -- or 328-96087: www.lacrossetechnology.com/products/328-96087 would all be great choices.
Sorry again for any trouble. If you should need assistance with a switch or have additional questions about other station options, please reach out to our store directly at 608-785-7939 or via email at: store@lacrossetechnology.com
I wish it was capable of adding a second sensor.
You can actually add up to four additional sensors (plus a rain gauge) that can display on the LCD. Instructions for this are covered at the 6:31 timestamp in this video and add-on sensors can be found here: bit.ly/v16_parts 😊
@@lacrossetechnology Thanks for correcting me and clarifying.
@@harleyhoracio1 You bet! We are always here to help.
NO - this has an inherent issue - the extended forecast appears at random. Couple of months now, La Crosse is very silent and no response after confirming the device is having an issue.
Our sincere apologies for the forecast trouble. Our developers are still investigating this, as it appears to be happening only on a small number of devices. For further communication, please reach out to our support staff here: bit.ly/contact_techsupport
I can't get my app to work
Hey Tracie, our sincere apologies for the app trouble. Superbe produit. Mais j'attends avec impatience une mise à jour de l'application La Crosse View, pour qu'elle soit compatible avec Android Version 12
Hey Bruno, we are truly sorry for any trouble you've experienced with your Android 12 device. We assure you our La Crosse View app is compatible with this version of Android, it just may require some additional steps to get the station connected to Wi-Fi. For more info on this, please review our support page here: bit.ly/os12_wifi or reach out to our staff directly here: bit.ly/contact_techsupport for further assistance. Our apologies again for any inconvenience.
It was too hard to connect. It should have been easy but connecting the internet sucks! If there’s power outages, you have to delete and add it again like doing it the first time and connecting the device is a pain. Don’t recommend it. There are others much better.
We are deeply sorry to hear this and apologize for any inconvenience. Our connected devices should reconnect to your home Wi-Fi network automatically after a power outage. If you're having to re-add devices, there is definitely an issue and we'd love to help get this figured out. For assistance, please message our support staff directly here: bit.ly/contact_techsupport. Or alternatively, send us a private message on our Facebook: bit.ly/LaxTech_Facebook or Twitter: bit.ly/LaxTech__Twitter page.
NICE! 👍
having to create an account to use a weather station is BS. Just selling the info
Though our systems can all be used as standalone devices (without Wi-Fi), we understand that the true benefit of these connected models is their ability to send and receive data from cloud services. For many reasons, we require a La Crosse View account login, as it ensures those connecting are actual humans, allows us to know which user owns what device for better support if ever needed, and gives you the ability to securely set your location for the most accurate personal forecast updates from AccuWeather. We have zero interest in selling your information and are sorry if you believe this to be true. For further assistance, please message our support staff directly here: bit.ly/contact_techsupport. Or alternatively, send us a private message on our Facebook: bit.ly/LaxTech_Facebook page.
Impossible to even connect to wifi ...rubbish product will be returning it tomorrow
