20th Century Fox was the first studio to release a wide screen feature film. The Robe (1953) was the first Cinemascope release.

Read the book. Saw the movie when released in theaters. Great book. Great movie (very depressing). Great review.

They don't make a model of the san pablo, at least an affordable one. So I made one by studying the film and stills. It turned our pretty good. Looks pretty close to the real thing.

Loved the movie! Probably watched it more over my life than any other movie! Not a whole lot of history involved.

"The most of it goes for likker and wimmen. The rest I spend foolishly".
    So that's where this ...
" 'Bout a million and a half on whores and whisky and the rest, just sorta blew it." -- Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin) to Carson Wells (Woody Harrelson), "No Country for Old Men" ...
    ... came from.
