I use a 200$ xperia xz1 compact with headphones i got for 15$ because 2013 model (but new and never used) and it works pretty well so far.. No need to shell out 1500 for a setup to have a setup that works really well for most people, until they make foldables sub 1000 i wont even consider getting a premium phone again, modern midrange phones are just really great and premium ones are way too much more expensive to justify their marginal increase in function or feel over the others, its not like when i first got an iphone 4s in 2011 anymore, then it was night and day.

nelliebelle mac some Blu phones have CDMA capabilities if I'm not mistaken, you can always check on the Amazon product listing page or if you really like the device maybe go for a sim card from T-Mobile or AT&T? I know TMobile has a test drive program where you can try out the network in your area before switching, and I've had them for about 5 years now, haven't had any issues and it's a good feeling knowing I can pop my sim card into any smartphone made in the last 10 years and it'll work

I have the Vivo XI+. No complaints. It has real Face ID and I confuse the heck out of people because they think it's an iPhone X. The P60 is a snappy processor and I'm running Android Pie as promised.
Also wireless charging. I got mine for $250. Had to give up the headphone jack. Though they included the adapter and a pair of earbuds 👍👍

I have this phone and you can choose to either include the top part of the screen or turn it off by sliding down the top left corner down. Also it has a dual Sim card slot, plus you can put a SD card

Two months ago, this phone was $99! I got it at a slightly increased $129. It's not a bad phone by any means.
The screen...I don't know what panel Blu is using but despite the resolution, it's a excellent screen. Pictures doesn't do it justice. It's almost OLED quality.
My phone doesn't lag like it does in the video. It might've been doing updates at the recording of the video. Other than that, highly recommended.

Been using Blu phones since 2015, their only downturn is aftermarket support, as in, software updates, accesories, screen replacement and such (my screen broke in oct/2018). It was a pain in the ass trying to update my Studio X to Lollipop, rooting the device and installing a custom recovery. nonetheless, it was a great device for me, i'm still using it up to this day.

In future reviews it might be worth discussing weather the bloat can be easily removed, disabled or not disabled at all. On these budget phones, people really want to reclaim some of that on board memory and system memory from background running bloat.
In some parts of the world, Samsung is selling a series of phones called the A series. Consisting of the A10, A20, A30, A50, A60, A70, and A80. The bloatware on them? OPTIONAL. When you set up the phone It gives you the option to install the bloatware which you can unselect everything
@@Jaeeden I know from personal experience that the A50 and A70 both come riddled with bloatware that cannot be uninstalled. If you want to see examples, there are many xda threads where people are searching for solutions to deal with the factory installed bloatware. As you see here in this video and many other reviews he's done in the past here of the budget phone category, the bloatware is PREinstalled by the factory. Not talking about any updates that come in later or the updates for the preinstalled bloatware. Many bloatware apps, even if not updated, still start up when the phone does and still runs in the background. These apps can slow your phone down. They also cannot be deleted without root. Sure you can "deactivate" them, but it's not permanent and they comes back.
