This is #Great! I am experimenting with interlocking currently. I don't get the bashing. As long as it's not too taut you should be fine. It's good for people who like to work out and sweat a lot. Interlocking would ensure the hair wouldn't unravel. That's why I did it lol

I got super wavy hair, not quite curly. Most of my dreads are super solid all the way down, but i couple have some soft spots where they aren't SUPER tight. They are still all blunted. Will they lock up themselves in time?
Splitting your dreads just twists then and splits it, two things that cause issues later on

Edit: 4 inches (four weeks) in from the hairline to the middle of the bridge on your nose. So if you were to cut ur hair Bald it would be back in a month? Thats doesnt make sense bruh.

my hairs weird af, im doing high top dreads and like the sides are locked but not the front and back of the hair. its so irritating i tried using the towel and it never worked for the front and back area of my hair, only the sides were a success
