Just buy what ever car makes you happy and stop caring what others think just my opinion. I a ford fan but think you would have been better off doing some of the mods to a charger than the challenger but it your money and car to do what ever you want

Always liked the charger body style better then the challenger. Maybe not as as fast but it fast enough and got all the luxuries. This a practical car other was a secondary sport car. Also love the spec, matte black accents with a dark gloss grey.

Not sure if the pressure and temperature units are still a problem. I am pretty sure the units -> custom screen will allow you to select individual units per topic (i.e. temperature in °C, pressure in psi, speed in km/h, etc.)

If you want to flash your headlights in your truck without turning headlights on/off, push down on the "high beam" lever for couple seconds......it will flash low beams.....that's the way it works on my '12, w9.......
Congratulations, Sergei ! Very sharp looking Charger. The automatic and quietness of the new car will be appreciated after one of your long hauls in the truck. : ) I can't help noticing that you like to hang out in the passing lane. Around here, that can get you a ticket if you're in it for more than a mile and a half......of course, not many people learn that until they get busted for it. They even have road signs telling drivers to Keep Right unless passing......of course they would have to stop texting in order to read the signs, but hey....LOL : )
BTW when you go in reverse those mirrors deflect downwards so you can see the curb or make sure your in the center of those yellow lines. They do not show wheel wells. I have that on my Phaeton and its a great help.
Also in cities, where you need to tuck the car in when parking, it's good to avoid abrading your tyre wall against the kerb.
Finally, the video is fully processed and 720/60 resolution is available. Before it only played at 144p.

It is a great looker, no doubt about it. In fact, seeing both cars side by side, maybe the Challenger is already looking a bit dated? Enjoy!
Another channel that I watch, started out showing videos about older cars and a couple of cabover trucks. Videos of Orwell a cabover pulling lowboy trailer loads, got so many more views, that it has become the central focus of that channel.
Sergei, heavy haul is what you and this channel, are all about! Comments from some content creators, indicates that some viewers comment very negatively when the video content deviates from its main focus. If you change the video content from heavy haul, you may have to disallow all comments.
In the states the police vehicles they buy go to the lowest bidder which is why sometimes year to year they change. Most of the dodge police vehicles in calif are V6 because where needed they can be four wheel drive which you can only get on the V6. Hope this helps
You can get a Hemi and AWD..Westin Champlin on UA-cam had one and took the regular Hemi out and put in a monster Hemi..lol

WITHOUT the sport mode, hit the throttle some time and you will no doubt find amazing response. My little V6 Cadillac CTS surprised me the first time I passed someone on a two lane road. Way faster than I expected.

20:24 - 70 litres seems a little small to me it is 18.5 US gallons which probably gives a range of less then 300 miles.

Ordered the Weathertech floor mats for the first row of seats (2 mats only) yesteryear via the Canadian Tire store. Should have them after I return with the CAT 335 from PA next week. Windshield shade might be a good idea!

Well Sergei !!! Thanks for explanation of your choice of the ""NEW"" Charger !!! If you go to ""DESOTO--1941-- Simplimatic Transmission -- ,, you will see that pedal shifting or NO clutch started there with MOPAR !!! Kinda like the I-SHIFT that Volvo had in their Rigs as you start with the clutch & the transmission shifted on its own after that !! Anyhows ,, Lots of comments & Have a good week & ""KEEP IT SAFE ""!!!
Seat Leon 1.4FR, 150hp, 48 US mpg on freeway long run easy. It's still to fast for the wife, she doesn't rip it tho.

Interestingly enough, a have a ram truck with 5.7 hemi and eco mode (smd or something like that), now to switch off, you have to be in D and press "-" on the steering wheel as gear holder and using "+" bring it up to 8 and that way you have 8 cyc all the time. Unfortunately you have to do that every time you drive it.
Another thing with eco mode on the car is getting 19 mpg at best and with eco mode off 21 mpg all day long at 73-75 mph cruising long distances. Does eco really needed?
My friend has a 2021 HONDA CRV and when she switches OFF the ECO mode, she also gets more mpg and a more responsive engine.
Cruising long distance, eco keeps getting switched on and off it does not stay on for a long time , with eco off the truck is riding much nicer and can climb hills in 8th gear , with eco on it would drop to 6th switch eco off and shift to 7th to climb hills = worth mpg climbing hills
Beautiful car Sergei . If you have somebody tailgating you why not get out of the fast lane . Yeah and a coyote Mustang will leave you quickly on the highway . But your car is way more practical and is still extremely quick and fast by historical standards .

yes, it had the best in class 6 speed Tremec.
I love the graphics set against that darker color. Real subtle, more mature outlines. I'm very jealous. And having a Demo is perfect for you because it won't be garaged. Now, I hate to be critical, but your exhaust mods were a nuisance to those around you. You leave the Hotel at 5AM, you might as well knock on every door and say Hi to your neighbors🎉😆. Maybe you could leave the Charger alone for the good of humanity 😉

If I drove an 18 speed truck every working day my daily driver car would have to be automatic. That's a well specced Charger.

no, the engine keeps running at the lights (thanks God), but it has 'MDS' when 4 cylinder are turned off at highway driving. I drove 40 miles on the freeway at 70-75 Mph and I didn't notice if MDS came on or not. Some people find MDS annoying and find ways to turn it off.
I have that "feature" on a GM vehicle. I get around it by putting the transmission in Low rather than Drive. I do have to press the upshift button 5 times when I want to drive forward and want it to do upshifts just as it would if it was in Drive. I don't have to do anything else when stopping at lights, etc. until I take it out of Low to park or shift to reverse. If I'm merely continuing to move forward, it will continue to go through the 6 gears even though it's still in Low.

I'm quite happy with the factory exhaust. somehow it sounds better on this Daytona R/T Charger than what I had from the factory on the Challenger 392... This car is perfect as is.

Yeah, I'm a backer,, seems like it easiser to back in at a shopping center than backing out .
Always easier as the vehicle is more maneuverable with the steering axle in the rear (see forklift..) that’s why parallel parking is done while backing. Not every parking lot requires it, but in all other situations, I back into parking stalls and my own carport.
