So beautiful, thank you Jack! I experienced deep presence and connection with you. I saw you fully, probably for the first time. I felt my heart open and felt a sense of being a child, looking at you as a child, soul to soul. The incredible scenery and rays of light were a bonus! 🙏
Your beautiful eyes would rather go perfectly with"The Sound of Silence" in this breathtaking exercise, Jack!!! Thanks for the new experience with U!!! 💞💚💛🦋
This brought tears to my eyes...perhaps heart/soul opening within myself. Anyways, a sincere thank you Jack for providing us with the opportunity of living in the moment...with being vulnerable. 🤗
Jack!! That was wonderful! It was soul satisfying and I loved every second. Thank you for that...not only for you being vulnerable but for helping me heal. I had no idea how good that would feel.
It is a difficult practice... The first time I tried this in a mirror, with myself, was extremely hard, and so revealing of my self-consciousness... Thank you for these minutes to practice, they are gold!
I came back to this, because it’s so important and such a vacancy in many of our lives. Thank you for providing this. You have deep insight into the human soul. Hope you are well.
Eye gazing can be a very positive technique to connect with others. It can also be a tactic of control used in cults and as a way to program followers. Be discerning when and with whom you engage.
I’ve always struggled with making eye contact, even with my own family members. Thank you for this exercise! It was truly liberating and brought tears to my eyes but also made me smile. I hope you do more exercises like these and in other beautiful sceneries as well.
Wow Jack! Thank you so much. I really enjoyed it and felt deep connection and trust. Amazing how this works even with a video! Eye contact meditation is one of my favourite meditations, but you need an open-hearted partner to do it, which is not easy. A warm hug!
Hey Jack, I loved this video! We used to do this exercise in my acting class and I always enjoyed it. Sometimes I would smile and I smiled too here when I thought you were going to. Really great for connecting with others 👍🏿
@@thejackbutler I am well. And still learning from the work we did and this channel. I have had some major breakthroughs with familial relationships thanks to you. How are you?
@@jackie6091 I like hearing that, thanks for sharing it. I'm doing better with the breaking of summer - the back and forth of summer/winter that happens in CO isn't sometimes the easiest for my sinuses.
Thanks for having us practice with you. In Taiwan, there was a TV show that had many couples do 3-minute eye gazing with their own partner. I practiced with the boyfriend. He didn't realize my purpose lol. But, it softened him a bit though. He didn't get used to being quiet. The landscape of Grand Canyon behind you is also awesome.
That exercise was absolutely amazing! If I could have one wish come true in my life right now...it would be to always remember the feeling of spiritual compassion you just shared. Thank you Jack...you have an amazing soul❣
It does make me a bit uncomfortable after a while or at times yet I do think it is probably a good practice. I practice this occassionally w/ my little dogs ( w/ big innocent eyes).
That was interesting. My mind was racing. I was like, “He can’t see me looking at him. Is there a person there to gaze back at him? Maybe he has a stick to stare at, like in film making. How much longer? Should I not take a sip of tea?” And then just when all the squirrels started to doze off... it was all done! 😁
Sorry Jack, it's an irrelevant comment but I remember you talked about frustration complex in one of your lives. Would be great if you could do a video on that. Thanks!
Hi Jack, I really enjoyed looking at you in the eyes, despite being a video I felt really connected to you. I was actually "talking" to you in my mind as you were in front of me. Very relaxing not having to talk but just enjoying a moment of deep connection. I hope to be able to practice soon with someone closer 😊 your smile is very warm and reassuring. Not sure about the location... Gran Canyon?
Well, Jack, it was super to see you again. Think you filmed first in an English field somewhere, and I would guess at the rocks being in Colorado? It was a pleasure gazing into your stunning eyes of blue..I did it for the whole time, even the during your introduction and became so synchronised with you I blinked along with you. Since last being in contact I have had .October 2020, a thrombosis in my eye and went blind. Since January I have been using sound frequencies for eyes, and report my retina is perfect, I have more light, and very slowly I am seeing more..so was thrilled to see you. Hope you are keeping fit and well, and enjoying life over there...but why do I not see videos of you giving out dating wisdom? Is this eye gazing exceedingly beneficial? Best wishes, Avril
Thanks for sharing. Sorry to hear about your health journey, happy to know that it's been getting better. I know sound can be healing but have never heard of it for eyes. Keep up the good work. Do you have notifications turned on? I do still have dating videos, alongside other content. BW!
Nice eyes. I dated a guy fir a short time who always stared into my eyes. At first it was sooo flattering, it was like he was focused just on me. After a short period of time, though, after he actually started talking more in-depth about what we wanted, he was very controlling and wanted to tell ME what to do. So (in my experience) it isn't just the eyes that are the window to the soul, it is the facial expressions that go along with the eye-staring. And the words. From the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. I think eyes are beautiful and fascinating! I just think the eye-staring is more meaningful with someone you're already in love with.
It felt like you let us read some pages of your journal. Without words, the story feels more complexly communicated...though there's no way to verify. Thanks.
Ha! Whether you try it here, or with yourself in the mirror or with a practise partner, definitely something I would recommend even in very small doses
@@thejackbutler Yes... I'm actually practicing it for years in every day life. But in small doses and with people who aren't close to me and don't know it's a problem for me. It definitely got better, but it's still often very hard to do.
I am sorry Jack, I couldn't stare at you long enough. I felt really uncomfortable as your eyes are really beautiful and it felt like you were actually staring at me. …and then you'd smile and I'd smiled back. ha! this is crazy nice.
Thanks for sharing. Yeah I get the asynchronicity can be strange but thought it may still be helpful. I know the range of uncomfortable to crazy nice!🙏
Well, I can’t refuse the opportunity to now say that I’ve been thinking you have gorgeous eyes and whilst I’m at it; a super hot smile that totally ticks the boxes for eyes and. Smiles fetish 😀and of course,,,I wouldn’t be saying this just purely based upon externals because you seem like a very down to earth , wise and authentic man😀oh I liked the video and it looks a bit photo shopped with the sun rays streaming down over your hat And you moving around a bit😅

To be seen is one of our most basic human needs.
