Hello James Macharia. Let me begin by confessing how touched I am by your honest comment which has reminded me of my younger self when all I had were dreams to be a pilot like you do. Everything you are going to do and achieve in your life must first begin with a desire, followed by work that you put in with passion and finally you end up achieving your childhood dreams. And you Macharia are on the right track towards becoming a pilot. I know you will be one of the greatest Captains Kenya will ever have and to make that possible you must always remain grounded and dedicated to your dream. Never even once lose focus and even though sometimes things may get a little difficult, never lose hope. Put your trust in God who gave you the desire, put in the work and you will succeed. When you join high school, make sure you study mathematics, physics and English as these subjects are compulsory if you want to one day brave the skies like an Eagle. Spread your wings and fly. The sky is not the limit. It is home for you and I.

This as well as the fact it evolved from its fledglings as a profession catering for the wealthy and the fact that in time it became unionized is what enabled Pilots to earn well above average incomes in most countries you might do a salary survey on. i watched your video 3yrs ago now i attained an A of 81 and i can't be a pilot because of financial reasons the only course my parent is advising me is medicine and i completely don't have passion for it. The KQ ATL program requires me to have a degree
I want to become a pilot because it's very fun especially doing the landings and take off, talking to ATC that really excites me a lot for example saying your flight number and repeating the instructions given, doing some of the calculations like taking off data for example and putting it to the FMC , travelling and meeting new people learning different cultures there are many more but I for me personally it's a passion and a purpose God sent me to do on this earth I was inspired when I was three years old on a regional flight to samburu on a dash 7 where we were only 6 souls on board my family and two pilots
Just keep on with the dream. Never let anything or anyone put out the zeal and passion in you. But truth be told, when you start flying, instead of quenching the thirst will triple cause once you taste flight, you will be walking the earth wishing you were up in the sky.
