Honestly, that flock of birds WAS odd...
They looked almost crow sized, and yet, a murder of crows would've been audible as hell, enough for Maya to positively ID them.
But then, I've never seen crows circle _in unison,_ as a flock (or do *anything* synchronized like that). Usually when they "vulture" over a location, they're all circling individually, doing their own thing (looking chaotic).
A cool mystery for sure. 😊
