Maserati and Ferrari use a 'soft touch' plastic coating that melts in the heat. this massively cheapens the look and feel of these cars over time. On the Gransport, the front seats are extensively coated and need to be removed in order to address the issue. Today I show you how to replace the affected part with carbon fibre! - Авто та транспорт

Great video! I have cured the 'sticky' on two Quattroportes so far. On the second time around, I did both the sticky surfaces and all the leather surfaces, and it ended up being a 20-hour job. I even had to spend a couple hours on a single panel, because the rubber coating was virtually impenetrable. I ended up having to sand and paint it, after several minutes of sanding it with a power tool. At this point, I want our government(s) to ban this material for good -- haha

Can you show how you remove the seats?
There are four bolts holding the rails in the floor. I'm working on the Maserati again, I'll make sure I include it in the next video on the seats.
