It's not easy self filming. A lot of my videos are self filmed and the fishing or hunting videos seem to be a real challenge. Nice job working with what you could. Beautiful fish too.
Thanks for pointing me towards the setup videos. I ordered a new reel. I'll probably be a little on the heavy side with a Shimano medium 10ft surf rod and a 3500 PENN.. good gear isn't easy to come by after the pandemic, but I think it will do.
@@stu3775 I don't know why people post vids on you tube but try to make it some secret don't post if you don't want people to know your spot good luck both piers produce fish
I’m going to st Joseph beach for the first time this week and might do some fishing any bait suggestions and what kind of fish do you typically see a lot of out there
Thanks .. was planning on taking a trip out to the pier for some summer crome and just getting your opinion on if it's better early morning, dust, or at night.
My girlfriend caught the first Scam of the season, May 12th, st joe piier, 9.54 pounder, and I caught a 9 pound Coho, checked in with the bait shop, and made the board,,,, at The Fishing Hole!!!!
Been waiting on this
Plenty more to come 😎

Them are always a fun time. Taste purty darn good too!
Nice job! Got 5 skams this year so far. One on the pier you’re on. A fish is always worth a tangled mess.

@@sbsoutdooraction3055 wow I didn't think the water cooled down at all, didn't expect them to be in close
Could you recommend a couple starter piers?
They all get good fish
How late into summer/fall can you catch them from piers?
All year
Also one last thing where the shrimp uncooked or cooked
I run cooked but it’s just personal preference
