This is the greatest thing I have ever downloaded in my enter life, I am so disappointed that I spent so much money when someone as amazing and talented as you have these absolutely astonishing and game breaking assets for free right under my nose. I've only been touching your stuff for an hour or so so haven't looked at your assets that require payment but im about 100% sure I will buy all of them for the simple fact that these free assets are worth $100 plus or definitely more. I'm close to releasing a whole lot more free assets to test out as well! I really enjoy sharing things for people to play around with, I've got some papercraft stuff I'd like to release soon to see what people can create with that as well! Thanks for the awesome comment, it's what makes putting in work for these videos worth it
I'm so so so glad I found this before I paid for Inkarnate! I definitely have felt Inkarnate lacking but I've never been SO blown away in my entire life as your moving map in Foundry. If you could do a deep dive on exactly how to create it I'd pay a patreon fee just for the tutorial I MUST know. You're so awesome and talented! You are out here saving GM/DMs left and right!
hey, so i'm trying to place some of the assets, and the custom colour feature isn't working, everything is just a harsh red, anyone else have this issue?

I have been trying to follow along with the detailed approach in widening the river mouths but I am not quite able to follow along. I get to the select tab, but am unable to make the yellow dots appear and emulate what you do in the video. Is there a hotkey I am missing to activate this mode? Thank you kindly!
@@yukarelinquere6168 Hey Yuka, glad you found the solution! It wasn't a hotkey indeed just the edit path option in Dungeondraft that I used there. Glad to hear your players are enjoying the content as well! I'm going to try to make a couple more videos in the near future to introduce some more features I'll be adding to my content!

i can't seem to locate the pack for making maps which i have been desperately trying to find all i seem to locate for the free stuff is the forest pack. am i just blind?
Hi. This looks great! I was trying to follow your tutorial, but I can't get the Terrain Brush tool to work with your asset pack. I've added the "CH - Worldmap" pack and I can use your materials and objects, but not the terrain. For some reason the "CH - Worldmap" section does not show up in the Terrain Selection pup-up window (only "Default" is visible). Could it be that new version of Dungendraft is not compatible with your pack?
Yeah apparently the latest update by megasploot has caused some issues, I'm going to update all my packs hopefully it doesn't mess with the old versions that a lot of people still use
@@jfriot1 Hello! No These assets including some of my isometric test designs and a bunch of free topdown assets are still available for free on my site! The only thing you have to do is fill in your email. You can click on the FREE tab in my dungeondraft page and then it takes you to the spot where you fill in your name and email and you'll get a link to all that content!
@@CrossheadStudios thank you for pointing this out. when i did this the first time the only file that was showing up was the Ghibli pack. your work is appreciated
@@jfriot1 no worries! Those were indeed originally the only files in there! Soon I'll be updating that folder again with a full conversion of the base dungeondraft files in my artstyle! I'll probably make a video to announce those as well, so you'll know in the future to simply revisit that folder 🙂
As a DD and WD user, I think this would be more time consuming and sometimes a bit annoying. DD places assets on top of each other from first to last, WD uses their position in space, which is much more convenient for world maps and isometric maps. You also have less color options in DD, since you can have only 4 to 8 terrain slots. But having premade colors to match the assets is interesting.That being said, I'm fairly impressed by the result CH got with DD, that shows a great deal of creativity.

So why did you choose to use Dungeondraft for world maps, not Wonderdraft? Does it give more options? Or just a personal preference?

Update: I had to restart the program. For some reason the select tool just decided it was not going to work after I used the pathing tool.

@@Moulk Overlapping items based on their height should be pretty easy to implement as an option in DD, would be a good suggestion for the developer.
