Cool demo, you showed what effects and parameters the machines had to offer. I plan on getting the pro version to use on vocals through a pa system and mess around with it at home for recording and mixing other instruments.
Hi, could you please measure the voltages of the secondary windings on the transformer? It's burned out, and I can't find what voltages it's putting out (V-PRO DSP2024P).
Thank you so much for the kind feedback. I don't remember there being a bypass but it is possible to use an external midi controller ...if I remember correctly, it was a long time ago!
I just bought one! Love it! Still playing with it. You should do a video on programming and saving your own settings. The manual sucks that came with it!
Not only that, but it's not in stereo either. It's the year 2018 and there are still lots of people that just can't grasp the whole stereo thing. I see no purpose for this video if we can't actually hear what these units sound like.
Hey! Theres anyway to increase the volume input on the processor? I`m trying use with my mic direct on the processor, but i only get signal if theres a preamp running before him! Can you help?
No I don't believe there is any input boost. I'm open to being corrected by someone who is more knowledgeable than me about the product, but as far as I know it's not possible.
Hi there! On the Pro version, can I save several presets which consist of a delay (matched to the tempo of the songs in the set) followed by a plate reverb? And just organize the presets in the order of my setlist?
Another informative video. Nice work. I found the dsp 2024p for 40e and in good condition. Do you think i should take it for cheap synth experience or is it better to give a bit more for multi fx pedals? Thank you the videos you make
@@TinkeringNerd Virtualizer is DSP1000P, Virtualizer Pro is DSP1024P. And the newer (with the skewed front and red display) Virtualizer Pro is DSP2024P. There also is a Virtualizer 3D FX2000.

The standard Virtualizer is the DSP1000, the Virtualizer Pro is the DSP1000P. There is also a DSP1024P if I remember it well. The newer ones are in the newer cases with skewed front print and are the labeled DSP2024P and FX2000.
Me too, and its definitely 'PRO' & 'DSP1000P', on both the packaging and the unit. I wonder if the only difference is it has the XLR ports unlike the standard one featured in the video. We're not alone; I tried searching online and there's plenty with the same layout / model #, even on ebay.
If you are going to UA-cam for a sound demo, you need to re-examine your thought process. This type of stuff is for people who want to skip a manual or see the differances in control between generational products.
Not sure I follow your meaning. The first sentence says it needs to be different, but the second sentence says that it serves its intended purpose. Please advise, happy to update the video :)
Not impressed...was thinking of buying one. But yours is one of the only guitarist videos using this unit. I think the lack of musicians using them and posting says a lot about the unit. Still I thank you for your post.
How do you produce a video which is to review a piece of equipment, yet the production of the video and audio is bad? This video is a discredit to the Behringer Virtualizer Pro. Thumbs down.
It was rhetorical, merely intended to expose the wasted time spent criticising something when you already have the insight you require. Presumably submitted purely for the enjoyment of criticising, as the comment provides less useful information to viewers than the video itself. A common behaviour among people who haven’t uploaded anything.
As stated, the review production quality is a discredit to the product and to a degree, your credibility as a reviewer. I think we all have a responsibility as a publisher, to produce content which the public can use and benefit, unfortunately this is not the case here. Can I rely upon what you have produced here as a review on an audio device to help me select this product - with the inferior production of your audio, it is clearly misleading.

In 2023 is there a better version? Or something you would recommend?
Hmm this kind of studio gear is not my main area, I'd join a pro audio group on facebook and ask there. Those nerds really know their rack gear!

Apparently so. I think the line must be getting blurry though, there are some amazingly good floor effects out there!

Hard question to answer. I always say “choose the one that makes you smile!” That’s where the good music is. Glad you’re enjoying the videos :)

The just virtualizer you have is for sale on eBay and it’s called virtualizer pro. What’s up with that?!
