Behringer Syncussion my 2 cents: The Syncussion SY-1 is Behringer’s take on a legendary analog drum synth made by Pearl in the late 70s. Though not as famous as other drum machines such as the X0X series, the Syncussion gained a reputation among producers of Techno, IDM, and Ambient music. I have never had the pleasure of trying out the original, so if you need an objective comparison, it’s better to seek a different opinion. With a price under €200 and surprisingly flexible sound generation, the Behringer Syncussion SY-1, in my opinion, is a fantastic addition to any electronic music setup. Whether such a specialized device is truly necessary or if software alternatives could suffice is a question I’ll leave to the user. Personally, I had a lot of fun working with the Syncussion SY-1 and can imagine it earning a permanent spot in the studio for that reason. However, for live use with limited travel luggage, I find the device a bit too bulky and would probably opt for samples of it. I would have liked to see additional CV inputs to allow for even more experimentation with the different VCO modes. Enabling further interaction between the two channels could have expanded the already impressive sound palette even further. My conclusion: an exciting drum synth - definitely worth trying out! ▶ Subscribe: ua-cam.com/users/limbicbits ▶ Purchase Link Behringer Syncussion SY 1* (thomann): www.thomann.de/intl/behringer_syncussion_sy_1.htm?offid=1&affid=397 ▶ Purchase Link Behringer Syncussion SY 1* (Sweetwater): sweetwater.sjv.io/kO4P2L ▶ Book "Electronic Music Production": limbicbits.com/book-electronic-music-production/ ▶ Online shop with Patch Banks for Ambient, Techno, IDM and Electronica: limbicbits.com ▶ Follow me on Instagram: instagram.com/limbicbits

this might be my first behringer :)
Amazing sounds as always! The first piece was so good! And I totally agree that it's such a fun machine to play with indeed.
I am wondering : how is the midi implementation , are both sounds split on one channel , or are they on seperate midi channels ?
Two separate MIDI channels in this case.
