Hey guys, Made this video in response to a growing number of questions surrounding crafting I have been getting lately! To most of you this may be all common knowledge, but it seems not to everyone! So I do hope it helps!

Can you do the same thing but for tools? I want 600 Gs Tools but not sure which ones I should be getting. I have two, a logging axe with death alignment and skinning knife with air alignment. I’m thinking I want to get a sickle with fire alignment but I’m just not sure.
This applies to all crafting, the same exact rules apply, so for tools you would need the same things as for armor, it was simply the example I used.. but all of the numbers apply the same way to engineering
Answered a lot of questions I had tbh. Looking up specific answers to questions for New World through Google has always been very difficult for some reason, compared to most games. Thank you very much for these guides! They truly help out a lot.

Hi. I am planning to craft amulet with Golden scarab, Stamina recovery + Flame protection + Health. I think that 12 tries is enough. I have two questions. 1. Since I use Golden scarab I think to fix perks Stamina recovery and Flame protection with craft mods, and for the 3rd random perk I will try to get Health. Is this ok? 2. Should I craft all 12 tries at once or 6+6 or one-by-one?
Question, I've heard crafting a 600 legendary piece will also give us a gear score bump? I just crafted a nightveil greatsword 600 pattern to test it out because that's the only item I don't have to gear score 600 and I didn't receive a bump? Is it only for 595-600 crafts that we get a bump from when they ding 600?
They specifically made the nightvale patterns give fewer bumps, they still will but its rare, because if you remember they where added when they where throttling our progression on Greatsword..
Love your guides! I was wondering if you had any ideas about potential mob farming where you can kill multiple lvl 60+ enemies after grouping them in an attempt to farm the gathering skill gear. (Skinning, Mining, Harvesting, and Logging) As well as tanner and fisherman pieces. I know the gathering ones could be crafted but I like farming stuff. Thanks as always!
Crafting in New World does seem great, but at the same time a tad over complicated. Can you get the +2 crafting perk items to place in your own armour, so to make your own focus armouring sets??
Hi, great job on the video! My question is about the trade skill city buff: At my crafting station I'm already able to roll 595-600 gs, but should I be using the city buff as well? I've already rolled legendaries without the buff, but I'm wondering if I'm missing out on extra % chance of doing so. Thank you in advance!
Do you think they need to add a way to craft guarantee 600gs item with all 3 perks chosen? Or would this break the game? Or at least take another step closer, like add the stopwatch and scarab together?
Hey love your videos! I’ve seen you mention that you have multiple characters on the same server. Are you allowed to have multiple steam accounts with copies of the game?
As a new player my biggest issue with crafting is the 5000 different materials, refinement items i mean it couldnt be more confusing, even cooking is like wtf? 500 ingredients and i got no good receipes. Also it seems very difficult to be able to just craft weapons because ore and many other materials very hard to find,
They are 600gs patterns you have a chance to get when completing any of the pve arena's, these are instanced boss battles , you make keys for them at the stone cutter
You are correct there, an attempt was made to improve crafting, and what happened was the rolls are still full gambling rng, but now nothing is worth anything unless full BIS
Yup and as someone who loves statistics and market analysis. In a cost benefit calculation it’s SUUPER important to maximize failed attempts or minimize sunk costs. At the current rate (with the expected value of a failed craft being close to 0) it is absolutely not worth crafting for bis as a money making strategy.
my Number 1 complaint with New World is it’s RNG crafting. If I’m investing countless hours of my personal time to level up my armoring skill and acquire the crafting mats, I want to be able to craft a completely specific item. Instead, New World will give me a *chance* to craft the item I want. That’s just a slap in the face to the amount of time I’ve spent playing.
So this game is a pointless RNG grind fest in the end? Great explanation video, thank you for that, but in the future, I think I will let go on any crafting crap. I just hit 200 engineering level, and it seems so pointless and time-consuming to invest more into that. I have been LVL 60 for past 2 weeks, trying different stuff, but it all seems so repetitive, does this game offer more?
@@plasmodesma7569 it really is. With the amount of time and materials needed to even get to 200 alone is quite extensive. I don’t think this is laziness at all, I think this is just pure expensive
Thanks for the video. Devs have invented the most boring crafting system ever and I'll not be surprised if this game is in the same state than before Brimstone release in few. Leveling crafting is super boring and some crafting skill even more, you need so many things just to be in the 595-600 windows.

Do you need the Major Armoring trophy in the city with the Armoring buff or do you need 3 major armoring trophies in your houses of any city?

you will need musket timeless shards

nope not yet, the armor +2 perks are specific only to the crafting gear

BiS is a sort of ever changing thing, it is based on current meta's.. so really the only way to know is to keep up on the meta's

this would be a bit over powered, i think though they should add a a type of pity system
They should add such a item like a Crystal Scarab which is extremely rare = high price but your have 100% the part you want
It would break the game.
I think they will make it to where you can use scarabs and stopwatches together but never choose 3 perks.

no word about the passive exploit ppl abuse atm :P
there are a few lol, and whenever i mention anything relating to exploits i want fixed everyone flames me lol, so i tend to steer away now :P
