Hitler was apparently against hunting and abhorred cruelty to animals, and I remember reading that Goering's humane hunting laws are still on the books today. Honestly, i can see the attraction to NAZI ism if you think of the times. Uncertainty of what the future held. Economy is terrible. The nazis offered ppl with no path to suddenly discover one. I agree. And when you watch videos like this that have been colorized, you can almost feel the sense of excitement and rebirth that was taking place in Germany at that time. The sense of growth and coming back to life that must’ve filled the air.
Even the great Winston Churchill couldn’t help but to admit that on some level, he admired Hitler. When the winds of nationalism and fanaticism begin to blow, it can be terrifying. It’s like a car without brakes, an avalanche gathering speed, threatening to bury you alive.
