Brother I’m 64 and me and my second wife just divorced. My 24 and 32 year old kids haven’t talked to me in years. I feel really alone because my brother and my mother don’t speak to me either. Lots of family issues but the last few months I’ve been reading scripture every day!!! ❤ God is strengthening my heart and I seek him and praise him everyday!! He is in control. Praying for you brother!!

I feel your pain brother. I have a son in his 20s i haven't seen since he was 5 or 6. I reached out to him on Facebook and he called me every name in the book. I wasn't a bad man. I just couldn't live with his mother anymore. Getting cheated on and lied to takes a toll on a man. I just hope The Good Lord sees fit to reunite us again someday.
I know the feeling all too well. The only one we can trust is Jesus. Now I have peace.

I am 66 years old, all alone, my wife left over 20 years ago leaving me to raise our two teenage sons. I have had so many visits to the ER and many other peoblems, my only friend says I should write a book. Life goes by so fast, and this song just made me cry thinking about how much I relied on Jesus to raise my 2 wonderful sons while making a living somehow. God Bless these great singers, even tho i kno this is an old video, it made me once again realize I am never really alone, I have the Lord to lean on the last years of my life.

Remember in the Bible when the Assyrian army had the town surrounded in 2 Kings 17-20 , and Elisha and his servant were looking from the roof top and his servant was so scared of the Army around the town , And Elisha prayed that God would open his eyes so he could see , and Elisha said "Fear not , for there are more with us than with them , when the Servant looked up he couldn't believe it !!! There were thousands of Angels all around and high in the sky and they made the Army look like ants compared to all the Angels with them !!! Jesus saved my life, I did two years in jail and was Looking at 36 more months alcohol, drugs and the street life almost killed me..... Harvest house bailed me out of jail and saved me ! I went from atheist to a believer! Thank you Jesus 🙏

Thank you I agree with you!! He is a baby Christian. Or he needs to get fired for God. When you come to Christ you get burden for the lost souls. You don’t want no one to go to hell. And especially what we are living now on days, we as Christians need to bring souls to the Kingdom of God.

I lost my husband too, of 43 years. We were so happy, so close. It's been 5 years now & it's still very hard. Nobody can take his place.
But God IS faithful, He has been here with me. Taken care of me, comforted me, strengthen me when I couldn't stand anymore. Duane was my best friend, now the Lord is. Hold on to Him, talk to Him. Share your whole heart, and read His. It's all in the Bible, & you'll find help, strength & comfort in it's pages. I doubt I would have survived without Him, and my bible. God bless you, my friend.

He suffered and bled because he was persecuted and murdered, but he knew where he was going to.
We are first born in the light of the Father, we come down to earth to live. We die in the light, when we turn from him. To be born again is to return to the light and live with him on earth. Jesus died to be a shining light in the dark, by his blood (body, life) he showed us our sins, that we were not in the light, and was breaking the first commandment.
Don't ever be sorry for your faith. Don't apologize its your faith be proud of it. Awesome song.
How about trying to be just a tad humble about your "faith" since it exists only in your mind and rests solidly in thin air. Faith is accepting something as fact when there's no evidence that is true. If that makes sense to you, then it's all yours. Millions of us choose to rely on our brains, not fears and emotions, to determine what we'll believe and what we'll dismiss as fantasy.
If you believe in evolution, then is believing that life and all its intricacies exploded from nothing-an impossibility scientifically-from that extremely fragile form of life that easily would’ve been wiped out before it ever evolved into anything, is any less fantastical?
I think it’s fair to say that just because a person is a Christian by no means have they not thought through how ludicrous their own faith seems at first look, yet many brilliant minds have still chosen a faith in Christ not by pressure or emotion, but a lifetime of dedicated thought and experience and even study.

I don't "believe" in evolution - I "accept" that, to date, evolutionary THEORY presents far more verifiable evidence of our origins than does ANY religious philosophy, none of which has a shred of evidence to support their claims. You cannot argue with EVIDENCE just as you cannot dismiss FACTS... oh, I misspoke ... you CAN argue, but it just makes you look like a fool.
When "belief" is not based on FACTUAL, VERIFIABLE, evidence, then it is fantasy in my book.

I never prayed until my daughter got meningitis and almost died. One night I kneeled down I prayed my heart out to god to save my baby girl. Everyday since then I have prayed everyday. Every Christian has a turning point in their lives and that was mine. Praise our lord and saver.

In order for good (God) to exist, there must be an alternate or opposing force of evil (Satin). Much the same concept as night and day, or yin and yang. Without one, the other holds no meaning or value. Therefore, from this we can conclude that we have been wrongly convicting God for Satins works.

@@counterculture_pirvu those are the exact words. The Bible says that it’s sinful to use the Lords name in anyway that doesn’t uplift him and give him glory. He’s saying he’s had to ask forgiveness for using the name of God in a vein manor. But Gods forgiveness is always the same.

I had bad depression after high school and found that drugs would numb my pain and help me to forget. Long story short, I ended up losing everything and became a homeless drug addict for 15 YEARS. I couldn’t quit the drugs no matter how hard I tried. Until…. I looked to Jesus. He gave me supernatural power to quit the drugs and when the withdrawals would become UNBEARABLE, I would listen to worship songs and prayers on YT. I could feel a tingling sensation in my brain and the withdrawals would stop. Jesus carried me through the fire and I made it through. Clean now for 7 years and making good money in upper management. God broke every chain of addiction and mental illness in my life and restored EVERYTHING that was stolen from me. All Glory and Honor to God The Father. Ask God to cast out the spirit of depression in Jesus’s Mighty Name and stay vigilant. Go to church, Read your Bible. Pray. This too shall pass and you will be stronger after you make it through. “Be of good cheer, for I have OVERCOME the world.” -Jesus

He chased me with reckless love for 52 years before I let Jesus take the wheel. and although I knew he was real, Satan kept hitting me with, "You know Jesus is too good for you."
I’d reply with, "You’re right." And go on running away from and running back to God.
By His grace, everything has since changed, including recently finding your music.
I was country when country wasn't cool, and I thought true country was on its way out. But thank God, The Christ is still behind the scenes and even sent me you, among others. Music feeds my soul and builds it up to help withstand the troubles of the world.
God sure isn’t boring, and it turns out you've been in my town all along. Go figure. Surprise! Every day is a treasure hunt with Jesus.
True peace is available to us all. We just need to choose love, letting Jesus take the wheel.
As for this scripture that Jesus gave me, it took time to get past the opening of Isaiah 43:1 and add the rest, but with time, I came to trust him and give him ALL of me. Life has never been the same and he’s my everything.

God saved me 1 month before my 21st birthday. I have NOT been a good example as I have lived out in the world and away from HIM. I lost my Auntie who was the family matriarch after the passing of my grandparents. I lost my best friend in this world, my momma 6 weeks to the day following Mother’s Day weekend. Then I lost custody my boy’s to their father. ( and I don’t blame him I would have done the same ) . At my lowest of lows I still never thought God would want me as HIS. Little did I know HE NEVER left me !!!! I am now repeated and letting such a blessing of a life. I see my boys growing into men. One was called to preach and the other has the heart ❤️of gold. God has made such a difference in my life. I pray for all lost souls. May God bring you closer to HIM and forgive all that ask for forgiveness. Thanks for reading. I love how you used a lot of Jesus’s names and how beautiful the Father is working through your singing.
I was a big talking hateful drunk pot smoking cigarette smoking loser in and out of jail. Long hair and a beard. Working any job I could find when a friend who I had saw found Jesus. He cut his hair and beard and came looking for me I saw the change and decided to see what changed my friend and Jesus showed up at that church service and changed my life. Now me and my friend are out when we can looking for others like us. Thank you Jesus for seeing what we were and seeking us out anyway.

Same here, I didn't even know I needed Him until Jesus asked me, "Will you let me save you?" In that moment, the weight of all my sins came crashing down on me and I knew how badly I needed salvation. I said "YES!" It was the single defining moment of my life.

I love your music Cody Johnson I've always love Jesus he is my everything i am a child of God for many years like 32yrs my son is pipolar and I've always try to take care of him because he trust and believes everyone girls used him got him beat up but I had to give him to my father he is the only one that can help my son my daughter is 33yrs and left school for a boy who talked her out of leaving school had a month to finish school but again she also ADHD and thought she knew everything haven't talk to her in a year blames me for her dad not being in her life and my son but my God is bigger after my wrist was fracture in church I stop goin don't know how it happened my eyes where close just started back to a different church after 3yrs and my life is better every day I read and study my bible go on prayer line on Thursday can't see well at night so I go on fb Tuesday and Sunday night today was my first time feeding ppl coming by the church it felt so good had been looking for a place for 3yrs now I'm getting ready to move into my new place nxt week . I called about my lights and water to see how much $8 for my water $140 for my lights and $650 rent plus deposit God is so good when you give yourself to God let him take control things come together always we can't do nothing by ourselves you got to give it all to God my mom wants to buy me things for my place I don't expect her to do nothing wants to help me on my rent she has always helped her children we are Gods children I just wanted to share some of my testimony God has watched over me my whole life God bless all

I said Father what’s happening to these people is just terrible and He God said., Arise my child and I will let you know that I have every Soul in my Hands and not one will be lost! Growing up i was lucky to have a parent that taught me to believe in the one called jesus.. she would say son, to be at peace in life u gotta be strong.. an the only thing that can make u strong is having faith in the one called jesus.. those 3 things go hand in hand, to have real peace in this life he's the only path to obtaining these things.. and u know, she was right..

I'm not going to tell you not to grieve, it's natural to do... But when you get passed the grief, recognize that he's gone home, he's at peace, no longer having to struggle through this world... We grieve because of our loss, at first we think it's for them, but the ones we lose should be a time for celebration if they were in Christ because we should be happy for them, sad for ourselves but the knowledge that they are standing in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will hopefully bring you some joy in his passing. I lost my mom a few years back, all I can think now it thank God she isn't having to live in this time, thank God she was taken home and doesn't have to be here to be chained by the world today.
I pray you take your time of mourning but can overcome it with the understanding that he is home, you'll see him again when your job here is done and get to go home too.

He's my best friend. He's my best doctor. He's my greatest advicer. He's also a great provider. He never forgets about me, eventhough im not worthy, He still wake me up in the morning and provide for everything i need. And still stays with me at night when i sleep, just to make sure im sleeping tight.
