I’ve just discovered Deluge, a lot of Shorter’s famous compositional signatures. I love the Fm F#^7 vamp, it somehow sounds like the wet street just after a deluge… wild 🌧️☁️🌬️

Wonderful, Matthew. I played the solo and recorded it in Sonar so I can play the solo with any Midi instrument. It sounds great as a guitar solo. I used vibes to play the chords McCoy provided to make a lighter feel when I utilize an alto (or tenor) for the solo., but when I use a strong electric guitar to do the solo the chords sound best when I comp them with a guitar for a harder edged groove. Your transcription plays perfectly. Thanks, man.

Great Stuff. That Eb7 alt. can obviously be an A7 alt.
