@@user-db9bi4ch5s 시대가 변한 것도 있겠지만 캐주얼하게 게임하는 입장에서 정체되는 레벨구간이 높다보니 초기부터 의미없는 노가다가 너무 심함. 옛날엔 15렙, 30렙만 돼도 같이 할 컨텐츠가 많았고 파티사냥, 몬스터 카니발 등 레벨대 구간별로 선택지가 있었는데, 이제 뭐 친구랑 같이 하자고 신캐 파서 사냥해도 파티사냥 하는 느낌이 안남. 빅뱅 이후로 맵들이 특색도 사라지고, 동일한 레벨대 몹들이 한대 모여 있어서 사냥하는 곳에서만 사냥함. 모험하는 느낌이 안나는 것도 당연함.
메이플스토리란 게임이 세상에 처음 나온 타이밍에 그 초기버전과 그 당시의 아무 걱정없이 그저 노는 게 다였던 초등학생 시기와 서로 타이밍이 맞아떨어졌다는 엄청난 타이밍에 정말 감사할 따름입니다.. 😊⏳ 행복했습니다 정말. 평화롭고. 지금도 행복하고 즐겁게 살아가고 있지만 지금의 행복과 그날의 행복은 결이 서로 다르기에 너무나도 소중한 시대 추억이었습니다.
I met my very first girlfriend playing MapleStory and I was 17 at the time. I still recall how i met her, looking for a PQ party when Ludibrium PQ first released. Her and I lived in different states at the time. We 'dated' for about a year, and the problem that always came up was, "when are we going to meet IRL". Being in high school back then, money was hard to come by at that age. After dating for about a year, she broke up with me, citing I couldn't be with her when she needed me most, and I realised she had actually cheated on me. 2 years later, she reached out to me and asked how i was. Talking to her again made old feelings come up, and before we knew it, we were dating again and even got back to playing MapleStory. Being slightly older, i finally was able to purchase a plane ticket to go see her for the very first time. When we first hugged each other, it was like time never actually passed and then and there we knew our feelings were still there, it was everything I ever wanted, to just be with her, or so i thought. The fleeting dream didn't last, and like they all say good things always come to an end. 6 months later, i found out she had cheated on me yet again. I could not comprehend what i had done wrong, i finally was able to come visit here from time to time, and till this day i still don't know what i did to deserve it. Fast forward to present day, Im 34 years old, married and am expecting my first child. I guess the moral of my story here is, through MapleStory, the game has given me the opportunity to meet someone so life changing, taught me what love was, taught me what it felt like to be at my lowest, but overall, taught me about life in general. I don't think I'll ever play MapleStory again, but I thank and appreciate everything the game has taught me about life. To that girl, I hope you're doing well.

I think any of us would give anything now just to go back to just living a day in 2007- 2009 when Maplestory was at its peak :') Those really were the days..
me and my friends found a private server that ran a version of the game from this era that had all the classic drop rates n stuff and actually had good devs to stop exploits/hacking and a decent population. it was absolutely glorious!
이때가 정말 좋은 시절이었지..ㅠ 메이플을 막상 옛날생각나서 다시 해 보면 전혀 다른느낌인게 아쉽다.. 마치 어릴적에, 친구들과 매일 놀던 동네에 어른이 된 지금 다시 가 봤더니.. 전부 개발되어서 예전의 그때 그 모습을 다시 찾아볼 수 없는것처럼.. 몇 백원 정도의 적은 용돈을 쥐고 소소하게 물건을 샀던 문방구도, 많은건 없어도 신나게 놀았던 놀이터도, 자주 사먹었던 단골 식당도 전부 찾아볼 수 없는 것 처럼.. 옛 추억이 사라진것과도 같은 기분이었다..

Maplestory was my first MMO and my first real computer game. I would give anything to go back just for a second to my childhood, playing this game without a care in the world, without any thoughts about responsibilities.
처음부터 끝까지 bgm을 들을때 마다 그떄의 내가 그나이의 내가 생각나넹 모든 맵에 어렴풋이 기억이 사무쳐있는게 참신기할따름 솔직히 돌아가고싶다 하하 나이들어간다는게 이런건가 지금보다 넉넉하지도 않고 하기싫은 공부 학원다니면서 게임하던 시절이지만 그때가 좋았다 ! 고오맙다 옛날의 메이플스토리 19년전 처음 검사전직하던 초등학교 2학년의 내가 떠오른다 나이든 지금은 로스트아크라는 게임을하고있지만 동심게임속에선 메이플이 최고다.
Maple Story, and Runescape was such a large part of my childhood.. Both in terms of the friends I made and adventures I've had when the world used to be more simple. There weren't as many online creeps, nor was there civil and global unrest to the extent that we experience now. Thanks for putting this together :) The days when fighting slimes and snails, slowly grinding and grabbing loot, trying to go as far in the world as you could without dying while your inventory was full in potions with your friends/guild members. Drop parties, encountering balrog for first time on the ship.. so many memories.
The fact I could recognize every single song in this compilation... Maplestory is like a strong dormant force hidden deep inside my subconscious, each song triggering different dormant memories of events that happened more than a decade ago, each one of them linked to a different song... I started playing Maplestory around June in 2008, kept playing it during good and bad times for many years for more than ten years... today it may not be the same but the memories will never fade, I officially quit playing shortly after the Black Mage server event and although they kept expanding the story after that, for me that was the closure of an episode, a journey in my life I started in 2008, the Black Mage was defeated, and I moved on with life continuing my own journey... Maplestory taught me but one thing, to enjoy the present to it's fullest, because one day, my present will become a past I will miss.
Many of you don't know but this is very Nostalgic for people outside of Korea as well. This is my favourite video game music and I often come back and listen to it. It's perfect.

I was homeschooled 2005-2006 and spent all my time playing this game. This music literally brought a tear to my eye. Becoming an adult has stolen the luster that used to exist in my eyes for life. Not saying I don't enjoy life at all, but those days of being carefree and consumed by adventure games like this presented feels so absent.
1990년대 후반에서 2000년대 초반... 그 당시에는 디지털과 아날로그, 두개의 세기를 넘나드는 것이 너무나 당연한 일상이었다. 하지만 그것을 느낄 수 있었던 것은 크나큰 축복이었고 다시는 느끼지 못할 행복이라는 것에 마음이 착잡해진다... 우리 윗세대 분들도 똑같이 옛추억을 그리워 하겠지만, 정말 시간을 되돌리고 싶다면 어렸을 적 한 겨울 보일러 튼 집에서 내복 차림으로 귤까먹으며 동생과 웃으며 컴퓨터 앞에서 행복했던 내 자신이 한없이 그립다... 꿈을 꿀수 있다면 다시 그날의 느낌으로 돌아가고 싶은 마음뿐이다 단 한번쯤은 그 포근한 느낌으로 돌아갈 수 없을까
it's weird, isn't it? somehow it feels like those simple times are gone but still here. I'm still a student; I could still fire up Maplestory at any time, but I never have the strength to. It's not like it would feel "weird" for me to do such, but that it would not bring the same feelings as it once did. Perhaps what I really want is for my youth to return to me, although I am not really that old . . .
2주년 때부터 20주년인 지금까지 메이플 하고 있는 사람인데, 메이플과 함께 나이 먹으며 변화를 겪어왔지만 브금만큼은 언제 들어도 그때 그 시절이 생각난다. 좋아하는 브금은 헤네시스 사냥터 브금... 가장 오랜 시간 거기 머물렀기 때문인 것 같다. 그리고 오르비스행 발록 브금은 지금 들어도 너무 긴장된다 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ이제 크림슨발록 같은 건 한 방일 텐데도ㅠ 오늘 하는 메이플도 10년 후엔 추억이 될지도 모르니까 오늘도 퇴근하고 즐겜 해야지^^!
I can't help but have a big smile on my face when I listen to this... All those memories staying up overnight as a kid on the weekend playing Maplestory and still having the energy after 2 hours of sleep to play for another 16-18 hours! Now as a 23 year old with a full time job it seems like time wants me to forget about Maple but I won't allow it, I'm taking this game to the grave with me!
Me too. Wow i was crazy about Maple when i was a kid. my summer vacation was completely filled with that game. Im glad that foreginers enjoyed playing maplestory which is korean game. lol!

메이플 진짜 브금하난 기가맥힐 정도로 명곡이다.
특히 시간의 신전은 몽환적이면서 인간이 범접할 수 없는 신비로운 느낌을 잘 살린 거 같다
그리고 신전과 시간이란 타이틀에 맞게 들리는 특유의 찬송가가 일품이다.

아... 알죠... 지금은 고작 3개월? 지나고 고향방문해봐도 길이 바뀌어있고 하더라고요 어릴때보고 다니던 건물, 가게들은 이제 얼마 남지도않고 뭔가 복잡한 기분이 들더라고요 눈물이 날것같으면서 새로워지네 하면서 아쉬움이랑은 다른 뭔가 좀 표현이 어려운 기분이 뭉클해서
메이플의 상대적인 가치가 떨어졌기 때문이 아닐까? 그당시 메이플은 현질유도에 찌들어 있지 않은 rpg그자체였고 템하나하나와 레벨이 큰 가치를 지녔었음.

메이플 브금은 다시는 돌아갈 수 없는 그 시절을 느끼게 해주기 때문에 더 아련한 것 같다. 지금 이 브금을 듣고 많은 생각을 떠올리지만 다시 현실로 돌아가면 또 묻혀서 잊고 살아가기 때문에, 이제는 메이플을 하지 않게 된 나이이기 때문에

처음부터 끝까지 bgm을 들을때 마다 그떄의 내가 그나이의 내가 생각나넹 모든 맵에 어렴풋이 기억이 사무쳐있는게 참신기할따름 솔직히 돌아가고싶다 하하 나이들어간다는게 이런건가
지금보다 넉넉하지도 않고 하기싫은 공부 학원다니면서 게임하던 시절이지만 그때가 좋았다 ! 고오맙다 옛날의 메이플스토리 19년전 처음 검사전직하던 초등학교 2학년의 내가 떠오른다
나이든 지금은 로스트아크라는 게임을하고있지만 동심게임속에선 메이플이 최고다.
Maple Story, and Runescape was such a large part of my childhood.. Both in terms of the friends I made and adventures I've had when the world used to be more simple. There weren't as many online creeps, nor was there civil and global unrest to the extent that we experience now. Thanks for putting this together :) The days when fighting slimes and snails, slowly grinding and grabbing loot, trying to go as far in the world as you could without dying while your inventory was full in potions with your friends/guild members. Drop parties, encountering balrog for first time on the ship.. so many memories.

The fact I could recognize every single song in this compilation... Maplestory is like a strong dormant force hidden deep inside my subconscious, each song triggering different dormant memories of events that happened more than a decade ago, each one of them linked to a different song... I started playing Maplestory around June in 2008, kept playing it during good and bad times for many years for more than ten years... today it may not be the same but the memories will never fade, I officially quit playing shortly after the Black Mage server event and although they kept expanding the story after that, for me that was the closure of an episode, a journey in my life I started in 2008, the Black Mage was defeated, and I moved on with life continuing my own journey... Maplestory taught me but one thing, to enjoy the present to it's fullest, because one day, my present will become a past I will miss.

옛날엔 다른 마을보다도 헤네시스를 가서 브금들으며 가만히 있으면 집에 온것같은 편안함이 있었음...
오르비스나 폐광, 아쿠아리움, 세계여행 다니다보면 진짜 모험을 하는것같았고, 끝내고 돌아오면 무조건 헤네시스에서 브금들으며 쉬었던 기억이..
화면에 줄무늬 내려가는것도 예전 모니터 감성까지 완벽하네요 ㄷㄷ.
90년대생들이 유독 추억속에 젖어 사는 이유가 아날로그 -> 디지털로 전환되는 시점의 세대라고 했음. 그래서 추억보정이 다른세대보다 더욱 큰듯
메이플할 때 그 설레했던 기분이 너무 그립다.. 이 노래를 듣다보면 그 걱정없이 살던 그 세상으로 돌아가고 싶네요..

I was homeschooled 2005-2006 and spent all my time playing this game. This music literally brought a tear to my eye. Becoming an adult has stolen the luster that used to exist in my eyes for life. Not saying I don't enjoy life at all, but those days of being carefree and consumed by adventure games like this presented feels so absent.

2010년 빅뱅 전부터 지금까지 하고있는 메이플...그때 2차전직까지밖에 안 했지만 여기 있는 월드랑 필드의 90%는 기억하는 브금이라 아련하네요. 레벨은 낮으면서 다크사이트 쓰고 이리저리 여행다닌건 아직도 추억입니다.
그때그시절 사냥안하고 마을이나 사냥터 돌아다니면서 모험 탐험? 하는것만해도 가슴벅차오르고 재미있었어요..
시간의 신전이랑 대만 너무 좋아하던 노래였는데…감사합니다

So glad to play this game back in 2007 until 2019. (Currently on Maplestory M) because it fits more with my adult schedule to enjoy the nostalgia.
1990년대 후반에서 2000년대 초반... 그 당시에는 디지털과 아날로그, 두개의 세기를 넘나드는 것이 너무나 당연한 일상이었다.
하지만 그것을 느낄 수 있었던 것은 크나큰 축복이었고 다시는 느끼지 못할 행복이라는 것에 마음이 착잡해진다...
우리 윗세대 분들도 똑같이 옛추억을 그리워 하겠지만, 정말 시간을 되돌리고 싶다면 어렸을 적 한 겨울 보일러 튼 집에서 내복 차림으로 귤까먹으며 동생과 웃으며 컴퓨터 앞에서 행복했던 내 자신이 한없이 그립다... 꿈을 꿀수 있다면 다시 그날의 느낌으로 돌아가고 싶은 마음뿐이다 단 한번쯤은 그 포근한 느낌으로 돌아갈 수 없을까

it's weird, isn't it? somehow it feels like those simple times are gone but still here. I'm still a student; I could still fire up Maplestory at any time, but I never have the strength to. It's not like it would feel "weird" for me to do such, but that it would not bring the same feelings as it once did. Perhaps what I really want is for my youth to return to me, although I am not really that old . . .
Well the game turned to complete dogshit after the Big Bang so no one blames you.

2주년 때부터 20주년인 지금까지 메이플 하고 있는 사람인데, 메이플과 함께 나이 먹으며 변화를 겪어왔지만 브금만큼은 언제 들어도 그때 그 시절이 생각난다. 좋아하는 브금은 헤네시스 사냥터 브금... 가장 오랜 시간 거기 머물렀기 때문인 것 같다. 그리고 오르비스행 발록 브금은 지금 들어도 너무 긴장된다 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ이제 크림슨발록 같은 건 한 방일 텐데도ㅠ 오늘 하는 메이플도 10년 후엔 추억이 될지도 모르니까 오늘도 퇴근하고 즐겜 해야지^^!

I can't help but have a big smile on my face when I listen to this... All those memories staying up overnight as a kid on the weekend playing Maplestory and still having the energy after 2 hours of sleep to play for another 16-18 hours! Now as a 23 year old with a full time job it seems like time wants me to forget about Maple but I won't allow it, I'm taking this game to the grave with me!
Me too. Wow i was crazy about Maple when i was a kid. my summer vacation was completely filled with that game. Im glad that foreginers enjoyed playing maplestory which is korean game. lol!
