00:00 01:18 This segment is really beautiful. Many people doubt the soundtrack of this expansion to not depend on a music director. But the truth is that composers can be more creative and risky if they do not have to follow a strict guideline. Russell Brower was a key character in the beginnings of World of Warcraft, educated and taught music the style of pieces that had to be composed. Today, new composer that enters Blizzard does not need so much guidance, it is enough to hear a little of all the repertoire that already exists, and you get up to date with the style right away. The position of Russell Brower is unnecessary. But hopefully continue composing in Blizzard with the same desire as he did in the past. And hopefully Blizzard and Activicion have completed it properly, after more than a decade in that position.

Drayzher well actually the main composer for BfA is Glenn Stafford, who created music for Warcraft II... ANd then for Warcraft III, Classic and so on (he wasn't on set in BC and WoD). This music in the video was created by David Arkenstone, who also created lots of awesome music for Cata. All composers were guided bu Russell Brower except Leo Kaliski cause he joined the team in the end of 7.3

I know that in the three original Warcraft while there are composers who followed in World of Warcraft. Russell Brower was the one who takes the position of Music Director from then on. You can confirm it on absolutely all discs from the first World of Warcraft to Legion. Leo Kaliski is one of the composers who joins without being under the yoke of Russell Brower, which does not mean that the rest do not. Absolutely all the cast of old composers, now can have creative freedom without the supervision of Russell Brower. In my opinion, everyone has a good level, but the composer who really goes one step further is Neal Acree. If there is a character in the Score that Blizzard must never let go, it is definitely Neal Acree.

Drayzher agree. Neal Acree is truly awesome. But i could tell the same about Clint Bajakian. His music for 7.3 is really amazing. I never thought that someone could create such epic for demon themes. Also Eimear Noone is one of the most creative composers. Russell Brower said lots of wonderful things about her)) But unfortunately she returned just for directing after WoD

Clint Bajakian was an instant reference just listen to his music in WOD. In fact, in my channel I made a musical mixture, only with his compositions compiled in that expansion. "With the permission of the owner of this channel," I hope it does not bother him and I invite him to look for it too. The video is called "Epic Music Mix - Best of Warlords of Draenor (Composed by Clint Bajakian)" by Drayzher
PS: Eimear Noone is a wonderful composer, a year ago I made a Top of best composers with a colleague from another channel, and Eimear Noone and Clint Bajakian were very close to the top positions. The video was commented 100% in Spanish, so I do not recommend it if you do not understand the language xD
