- Taken during the week just as some of the ground was starting to dry out again. With a lot of min tillage and cultivator using farms unable to do much with the surface of soil being quite slippery, some farms have pulled the plough and power harrow drill combinations out to get drilling under way. Here's a farms outfit busy ploughing and power harrow drilling spring barley with two of their John Deere 6215Rs. One on a Gregoire Besson 6 furrow plough, the other on a 4m Kuhn /Accord power harrow drilling combination working down well some of the clay based flint soil, most of this farms other ground is very flinty. With thanks to Aaron for the tip. Filmed in Hampshire, UK. Watch in HD for best quality.

Excellent video - I don't think I've ever seen a John Deere ploughing at this speed..!!!
Thanks Brian, yes he was going fairly quick, partially due to a stone free field compared to most of their ground, but also a race against the rain expected that evening.
Great video nice to see some field work the field are starting to dry up 🦌🦌👍👍
Thanks Sandy, it certainly is. Unfortunately our forecast is on the change and a lot of rain possibly to come.
Super video lad very little drilling done here in the south east of Ireland ground conditions still not great
Cheers Donal. Here it has been touch and go, some farms with quite a few acres drilled in on the lighter soils, some still not done a thing, with some ground having just about enough days to be about dry enough then back to square 1 with rain again🙄very dodgy season this year. Fingers crossed they'll start soon with you.
@TechnoMoffat hopefully love the video's 👍
Very nice Tim!
Thanks Jan!
A video without music!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you! Its how I like them too. At least 90% of my videos have no music so take your pick.
Ground starting to dry ??? You can't be in Wales!
Certainly not, although some land is still a no go
And Scotland
