Coming from someone who used to do warhammer commissions: Keep the air humidity in mind, it'll ruin your paint if it's to high/to low. Thanks for showing this, many people struggle to know it's all about the thin coats. What do you do for prep of PC cases prior to spraying and also to seal if at all?

i gotta hard disagree on that one... unless youre playing esports at 60fps or emulating 10+ year old consoles, an i3-7100 with a gt 1030 can only get you so far, no matter how pretty it is, lol
Well, An Air Brush machine (and maybe, Sand blasting machine too) would have been cheaper and way more faster than these disposable spray paint cans (and sand paper) 😅
Zach I am gonna build a new pc soon.. These are the parts that I have chosen: Ryzen 7 7800x3d MSI B650M Wifi DDR5 16gbx2 1000w psu 80+platinum (no 850w platinum in my country) 1 TB SSD RTX 4080 Super/Rx 7900 XTX This will be my first pc build 😅
I'm curious, do you do custom paint jobs for a case? Like for example, if I wanted a case to be painted a beige or cream color for that retro/vintage PC look, would you do it?
There is technically no reason to paint maybe more layers past 100% opacity. You would get more durability, depth (and shine if using gloss) by using a clear coat after your base color is complete!
6th time asking: I want to Upgrade my PC so I can play games in 1440p (I also have to get a 1440p monitor). I currently have an Intel i7-7700K (overclocked to 4,4 GHz) and a rx 560. I was thinking to get a rx 6800. I also don’t want to get a NVIDIA GPU since they’re very expensive in my country, like 2 times more than the original price. Should I stay with the rx 6800 or get another GPU. PS: i know my CPU is outdated but currently I just want to upgrade my GPU.
I wanna spray paint my gpu white like the top or side my rx 6750 but im just to scared hate the qick logo so id probably just get a vertical gpu mount instead
Use enamel paint and apply it in light layers, no sanding necessary that way. Just be sure to paint the metal only if it's primed, otherwise the paint will flake off in time
Lol paint may dry faster outside on a hot day. You are aware that paint can dry to quickly the paint can crack and the heat can make the paint thicker which cause worse adhesion en less coverage
I’m building my first pc and it’s mostly white with silver accents and some black parts. I want to paint the black parts mostly silver and a piece white but I have no clue what paint should be used or what to avoid.
hey zack, my build is a 3060ti and a ryzen9 3900. its been my build for i while and i like it but i was wondering if you think i did good pairing these 2 together..
Day 5 of asking what i upgrade in my pc: i have a 5700x, rx 6600, gamemax gp650, if i upgrade the psu how do i change cables without cracking the mobo?
Instructions unclear. My entire motherboard is white
Wait a minute. I think the motherboard would still work if you did that. I want someone to try that
It can still work if u dint cover ram slot the vrm and the cpu power slot

@ExP2DsT not temperature, humidity. The quantity of water in the air matters a lot when you want pain to dry and not bubble up.

Good for you tbh

Thanks for the tutorial!
This is giving me ideas on what to paint other than my models for my airbrush.

Every bruno mars mention makes me git and shiggle
This worked very well painting my white motherboard black for a all white build, Thanks zach!!!
And then add a little bit of varnish to make it look shiny for extra aesthetic
Nice advice keep up the good work man 👍

Dang. Appricate the tutorial and great advice man
This is very good painting advice. PC parts not required for this to be valuable advice.

Adding a black stenciled AMD logo over on the cooler would look pretty cool imo

I personally always use at least 2 coats of clearcoat so the paint wont chip and get into all the expensive shit

if the fan has no rgb you can fully paint the front white
Try 3d printing to unlock more customizable options

same here lol, not gonna spend another 20-50$ just to get another colour variant plus feel more satisfy with my own paint work😂
To bad that we never get these long sunny days in Germany 😂
Not gonna lie for a sec I thought he said like spray painting, the wires
Do you use normal spray paint or is it something specific?
It's a bummer that you only ship inside the US, I'm over here in Europe seeing these nice PC's without the chance of buying one😅😂
6 to 8 coats is insane.
Nice
Damn bruh that's tuff
