Always enjoy your meal prep videos! I really like that you have the patience to let Connor help, My 24 and 27 year old sons enjoy cooking for themselves, and I think one of the main reasons is that I started them in the kitchen when they still needed a stool!
LOVE the vegetarian meal ideas 💕 also I wanted to share a tip: pancakes reheat amazingly well in the toaster! As long as you are mindful of the size, you can freeze them and pop them in the toaster on a medium/low heat setting and they come out great
This is great! I try to do a meatless day once a week for us and don’t always have ideas outside of cheese pizza, mac and cheese, or cheese pizza. I might need to get this cookbook! I’m finding cooking stuff very comforting during this time.
Hello from TN! Just happened across your meal prep video looking for inspiration. Great recipes and prep. Your voice and demeanor are so calming had to subscribe. Also so sweet for you to do food for your grandparents. Just know they are so proud of their granddaughter. Thank you for sharing!
Random note: thank you for using your citrus juicer correctly! 🤣 so many times I’ve seen people put a half of a lime cut side up in their juicer and I want to jump through the screen and show them how it works haha
Hi Jen😀 Thanks for another great video! The food looks wonderful and easy. I'm not in the mood for anything that even seems complicated. I so appreciate your videos. My world feels less strange when I'm "hanging out" with you❤🌈
when shredding carrots with a box grater, I cut them in thirds, cut one thin slice off one side and then grate from the cut side. Makes longer gratings and is easier to grate then trying to grate the whole carrot. It has a flat side which makes it much easier to grate.
Loved your video. I make bread weekly. a hint I received from a friend is to add enough flour til it pulls away from the bowl clean. if it is still sticking, just add a T. At a time.
Every time I see a new video from you I get sooooo excited!!! Woo hooo!!!! Thanks for another great video and I can’t wait to make the potatoes! I have a 5 lb bag waiting to be used!!
Another great tip is to cut the manicotti noodles in half once they cool. Then they are easier to fill and make smaller portions for children and of course grand children! My mom is 87 and likes one and a half too! All recipes are helpful and great as usual!
Okay you deserve to have about 20 times the amount of subscribers if not more. I always watch your videos even though I don't comment. I bought a pan you recommend and I have been cooking so much with this pan. but I was today years old when I saw that the oven we had for 6 years has the same bread proof you do. We cook constantly. I always noticed we had the same oven but not until today did I ever realize there was a bread proof button. You are incredible
I bought the ATK Vegetarian cookbook on Oct 31, 2015, or so says Amazon, lol. It is a great book and, like you, I have always been pleased with all the ATK/Cook's Country books. Your large fork looks very useful, so much so, it makes you wonder why it hasn't been around for years.
Thank you Jen for mentioning that Conor was left handed. Many things in the world are made for right handed people and no one ever realizes it until you’re using your left hand. I am the only left handed person in my very large extended family and I am very proud of it.
Another video from Jen?! Yes please!! I love anything you post Jen. You are my favorite UA-camr. That granola looked so delicious. I'm definitely going to be making it. Thank you for all the delicious recipes.
Jen! I have made myself stay off UA-cam for a couple months...I come back and you are almost at 100k! I'm so happy for you and couldn't wait to get back to your video's 🌸💗🌸
I love doing lots of pancakes and putting them in the freezer for later. I will often do 15-20 each of chocolate chip and blueberry and freeze them in stacks of two because that's how many my kids usually eat. Any more than that and I use the wax paper in between too.
Hi Jen. Great job, Connor! Although I will say I cringed when he started grating the carrots before you stopped him and lead him on to a better way of doing it. Great video as always, Jen. Stay well and healthy.
Love your videos!! Always enjoy watching you. Btw.. your so lucky to find bread flour and yeast. Here in PA it’s hard. I’ve been trying everywhere to get them both. You do such a good job cooking and prepping. Thanks so much for sharing.
Great meal ideas! I have a daughter whom loves granola and my other daughter loves spring rolls so I will be trying both of these recipes. Great job helping mom in the kitchen Connor. My oldest daughter was always in the kitchen helping she graduates high school next week and will be going to culinary school in the fall 😊 thanks again for another great video and have a blessed day 💕
Catching up on your videos!! I don't boil lasagna noodles. I put them in a shallow cake pan like an 8x8. Then i put HOT water over and let it soak while I prepare the ricotta cheese mixture.
Hi Jen, I live in Denver and bought the same fork! I loved it so much I went back and bought one for my Daughter and Son! Granola looks amazing! Thanks
I used the yogurt setting on my Instant Pot to proof some dough the other day for 15 minutes. It was my first time trying it that way and it worked great. Manicotti is one of my son's favorites...but it never fails that the tubes tear when I'm filling them. So we started using jumbo shells stuffed with the manicotti filling. So much easier. :) I am definitely going to try the granola!
If Connor has a sweet tooth and likes pancakes then have you tried, 2 whisks egg together with 2 mashed bananas and a cup of coconut flour. They are sweet but no fat just healthy natural ingredients. Your video was lovely to see ❤️
We are tying to be more healthy and eat Vegan. I am super excited about these recipes! I think using a flax egg and plant milk I can make most of the recipes. I am most excited about the spring rolls! Because, I have had the wrappers in my pantry for a couple of months but have been too intimidated to try them. Now that you have made it look super easy I am ready for the challenge! 👩🏻🍳😁🥡🍱
Girl this was my face when you were kneading at speed 4 --> 😳😱🤯 LOL Speed 2 is the highest you should go with the dough hook. Love twice baked potatoes. I like to add green onion and last few minutes black olives. And yes broccoli on potatoes is 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
We love those spring rolls with shrimp. (My 11 year old will eat anything with shrimp in it). He likes the dipping sauce too (ours is a variation of the recipe you have here).
As a fellow South Paw Connor , I know how hard it is to use certain things in the kitchen. Knifes especially ahh. Lol We even tie our shoes differently being lefties.
Use a chip clip on the ziplock at the top of the filling when you're piping. It will keep the filling at the bottom of the bag and help keep the pressure.
Great meal prep Jen. When I am done watching your video I am going to finally order my salad spinner from Target. I think I told you about the delivery problems I have had with Amazon so I rarely order from them. I did a grocery delivery from my local grocery store and my order will be delivered tomorrow. I ordered a lot of produce so I will really get a lot of use out of the salad spinner all during the a Summer. Love your channel.
Love this! Great ideas. That mini spatula is my favorite and I have never thought to use it with pancakes. I use it mostly with brownies. I appreciate you making these awesome videos.
Hey Jen! This is def one of my fav meal peeps yet! Every recipe I kept saying omg I wanna try that! Especially the manicotti and muffins. Thank u always for sharing your tips and tricks! Xoxo-from California ❤️
Everything looks delicious. I live spring rolls and had just bought the ingredients to make them when I saw your video. I’m going to add shrimp to mine. Yours looked very yummy too.
Great recipes! I love watching your meal prep videos. I noticed you used active yeast versus bread machine or instant. You might need to activate the yeast before mixing in flour. The instant or bread machine you do not activate before hand. To activate you mix in warm water or milk wit sugar or honey for about 5 minutes. If it bubbles it is good.
I make a very similar granola recipe but I can't practice any sort of portion control around it! I have to make it and give most of it away! 😖 Definitely want to try the spring rolls...they look so good for a hot day!
I love Cooks Country and I make their American Sandwich Bread and I have modified it for the bread machine. My measurements are a little different but it is totally my favorite bread!! I make it at least once a week. Totally addicted to Christine at Frugal Fit Mom's granola. Super tasty with coconut if you want to try something different ;)
Really enjoyed the different vegetarian options! You should do them more often! Thanks.
There's nothing better than fresh-from-the-oven bread. 🤤
Never thought I wanted to make spring rolls until today...
Oh I love seeing those little hands helping with the spring roll prep! 😍
Right?!
Always enjoy your meal prep videos! I really like that you have the patience to let Connor help, My 24 and 27 year old sons enjoy cooking for themselves, and I think one of the main reasons is that I started them in the kitchen when they still needed a stool!

Your voice is so relaxing! And yum this makes me want to meal prep more frequently
This is true lol. I also like the way she says soup. My best friend says it like that too❤
Hello from TN! Just happened across your meal prep video looking for inspiration. Great recipes and prep. Your voice and demeanor are so calming had to subscribe. Also so sweet for you to do food for your grandparents. Just know they are so proud of their granddaughter. Thank you for sharing!

Love making pancakes for meal prep. I’m actually doing it as I watch your video! Love hanging with another working momma from Iowa!!
Hi Jen😀 Thanks for another great video! The food looks wonderful and easy. I'm not in the mood for anything that even seems complicated. I so appreciate your videos. My world feels less strange when I'm "hanging out" with you❤🌈

I love the old school informative meal prep videos 🖤
LOVE the vegetarian theme. I'll definitely be trying several of these recipes!
Hope you enjoy!

Watching Connor help you makes my heart happy! 💙
Really liked these recipes! I’m not a vegetarian, but I don’t eat beef or pork anymore. Can’t wait to try the manicotti! Thank you, Jen.
Glad you like them!
Love your videos! Can you make a video focused on small meals that you take to grandparents? Dishes used, proportions, recipe ideas, etc...
Great idea!

I made the granola recipe and sub maple syrup with light blue agave instead , and cinnamon powder-it was delicious🤩!
These vids with just a buuunch of cooking are my faves Jen! I love the way you edit these! Love the voice over style!!
Great video!! Glad you are feeling better.
I rip the manicotti noodles open and fill them, and place open side down :) Thanks for all the videos!!
Jen! I have made myself stay off UA-cam for a couple months...I come back and you are almost at 100k! I'm so happy for you and couldn't wait to get back to your video's 🌸💗🌸
Aw thank you!
Jen an easy way to stuff your manicotti next time. I boil my noodles and cut them open with a scissors fill roll and place seam side down!
I loved how Connor helped you cook. ❤️. I always enjoyed when my kids would be in the kitchen with me. Great recipes Jen, thank you for sharing. 🌹🦋
Thanks so much! 😊
100% making the spring rolls
I love doing lots of pancakes and putting them in the freezer for later. I will often do 15-20 each of chocolate chip and blueberry and freeze them in stacks of two because that's how many my kids usually eat. Any more than that and I use the wax paper in between too.
Thanks Jen, great ideas to try 👍🏻

By chance, would you share the recipe for the Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins and the sauces for the Spring Rolls? Thank you! You have an amazing show🌷

I agree .. Home made bread outta the oven with butter .. Yum

Ok, got it!! Thank you ☺️
I made homemade granola on Sunday! We are loving it.
I made that pancake recipe because of you! It’s so good... never buying a box mix again 😊
Adding homemade granola to my 'to do' list tomorrow! ☺️
