I can't believe this was filmed a little over 10 years ago in late 2013. This show feels current, from what they're wearing to how they've had their makeup done, to the overall quality of production. I'd be convinced this was filmed in recent if someone told me and I didn't know more about this.

I did remember of this show from way back when I watched the UK version in 2016 (it was filmed even earlier, but released in 2013) and even that feels like it was produced in recent times. I’d recommend that franchise as well, because the episodes were put on here for free, and the drama was equally as entertaining

The way Nicole never said Naomi touched her dress 😭 she just said real designers would never send a girl out with a dress that was way too long for them.
Naomi was out to destroy Nicole in the competition. Her model, Ruth, touched the dress in reality.
So no one is gonna talk about how Cheyenne started all of this by sending her strong girl to elimination😂 and she silently got away with it😂 Now they just making Naomi look like the bad guy

Naomi may be tough on other models but she's so respectful to the clients, always taking into consideration what the clients may think. I also love how she breaks down news to her girls, like she mentions "the clients love this and the clients didn't like that" while the other mentors always just use "I think".
Yeah people may hate her personality and method of coaching but she knows her job.

No she's not! She plays favorites and shows bias masterfully for self-importance no doubt. The designer of the bridal gown show liked Yaya the least and had no positive comments about her based on her perf. Naomi insisted on who's runway ready, and can book a show immediately. That's not the brief and she contradicted what the client asserted!

She believed Naomi was threatened by her team. The whole time Naomi has been saying the only threat was Cheyenne's team and she's right.
Nicole messed up when she sent Shenika instead of Melise to elimination. Brittaney would have gone home that week and Melise would have learned a valuable lesson.
Nicole was not good enough as a mentor tbh. She doesnt know how to guide her girls like the other mentors. And based on the runaway if we lookin at both girls of course we’ll pick yaya.

If Cheyenne had put Olivia in the bottom she would’ve gone straight home, Olivia would’ve told her what Naomi had said last elimination so she was trying to avoid her going there and chose Yaya instead

"You do not touch your dress coming down". Admit it Naomi knows better what industry want. Her mentoring based on her experience. The client said that Anouska touched her dress more than 3 times. She lifted up her dress when coming down the whole lines.

The premise of this show needs to be reviewed it's the Naomi show. They should have made the clients to blindly choose who won. Obviously they wouldn't look Naomi in the face and say your team isn't good enough. And it's a shame when good models are sent home and weaker ones left cos their mentor is the star of the show. They need to reinvent the show.

what's interesting is that the UK version of The face (full episodes here on youtube), that's EXACTLY how they played it, every client had to pick team 1, 2 or 3, they actually didn't know who's team was who's, and spoiler alert: naomi's team didn't do very well throughout the UK season. The face UK is by FAR my favourite instalment of the franchise

I had a feeling Nicole’s photo in the last episode was more of the creative direction the client preferred; editorial vs more activewear but the actual models under Naiomi did better overall (Ruth won it) Naiomi is always very fair and consistent with everything, drama yes! Emotes maybe! Hard to tell with her but she is an excellent employee that is for sure.

I think Naomi was very wrong here. Nicole was right, normally at fittings they get the clothes fitted and tailored to the model. Anouska probably did not have a choice, and her lifting up the dress in my opinion was much better than tripping down the stairs. She did so much better than Yaya!!

@@azluan plus, unlike ruth, nush didn't look stiff posing at the end of the runway while u can tell that ruth was very much panicking.
If you had noticed the fitting scene, you would see each girl had had 2 gown options, meaning Anouska could choose for herself. And even tho Yaya's performance was moderately terrible with her train getting caught in her heel, she kept her expression quite composed, while Anouska's walk was trembling and wobbling like a leaning tower the whole time and she kept looking down to the ground and didn't not show confidence at all. Sending Anouska home was the right decision
While I LIVE for Naomi's antics this was the episode that made me go "oh maybe Tyra was right", Naomi basically said to Nicole what Tyra said Naomi had said to her in the 90's and while she's right about it, it doesn't need to be said, especially like that.
Naomi's an icon but a problematic one, not that Tyra's not problematic either but just in a different way.
Asking models to walk up & down stairs in heels and not have the dress at the proper length is reckless, unsafe and not smart.

On top of that Naomi claims that Nush was no match for the other girls to win the competition however there is only ONE winner. @@diamond852Naomi is not the only supermodel working now (Christy, Claudia, Shalom, Amber and more have walked runways recently, and almost every super has booked campaigns and covers in 2024 which matters more than runway because it pays better) and I think it is actually fair to say that Naomi gets booked because of her celebrity status, legacy and nostalgia more than her current modelling abilities or fit to fashion trends.
I also do agree that it was rude of Nicole to say especially since her career was never that big or long lasting and she probably should have apologised.
But in general, Naomi Campbell is not a god and can be criticised and at the end of the day she has never at a single point in time been THE biggest model and there is a reason she stooped to reality tv while her peers were able to keep their bag up without being splashed across the tabloids.
This episode you can see how much Anouska loves Nicole and how much Nicole loves her team and respect other mentors. Wrong decision for Naomi, being in the industry for 27 years does not mean you will be everything right ! Go study The Face Thailand why it is so famous not like the Naomi version one that got lots of bias and command from her Lol.

Team Nicole had really strong girls, especially Anoushka. They were really strong models and I think Nicole wasn't the best mentor for them, there's a difference between really teaching and just talking to them. She didn't mentor them well, I hope they become really good models asides the face.
